Abstract: An edge protector assembly is attached, via at least one connector, to an edge of at least one wall surface of a bucket assembly. Each connector includes a first mating portion that is mated to at least one second mating portion of an edge protector of the edge protector assembly. One of the first and second mating portions includes a male protrusion with a tapered section and the other includes a tapered female cavity that receives the tapered section. A fastener assembly secures the edge protector to the connectors, and includes a fastener extending through a bore defined by the first and second mating portions. An inner wall of the bore and an outer surface of the fastener are out of contact with one another to avoid shear loads on the fastener(s). The edge protector assembly is preferably flush with the inner bucket wall surface.

Abstract: A high efficiency triple pass tunnel finisher includes an articulated spraying function for allowing steam to effectively penetrate a garment. The tunnel finisher can be used for the laundering of shirts, pants, and jackets. The tunnel finisher includes hot air chambers and a steam chamber that can include two rows of steam injectors located at a 45° angle in relation to the walls of the module. The steam chamber has a lower pressure than the hot air chambers, creating an air pressure differential. The hot air chambers are positively pressurized, preventing the relatively cooler air of the steam chamber from entering the chamber. The pressurization prevents heat loss, allowing the finisher to be more efficient, while increasing the temperature at which the garments exit the steam chamber. This leads to faster drying times, less garment wrinkling, and reduced dwell time for a garment with a high quality appearance.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a license plate holder-bracket assembly that enables the attachment of a vehicle license plate by eliminating the need for costly, time consuming and difficult repairs that presently necessitate the removing and replacing of damaged mounting screws and/or missing attachment points. The license plate holder-bracket assembly provides a clean factory look both in terms of by style, color and texture. In the preferred embodiment, the license plate holder-bracket assembly covers over the existing license plate holder or attachment apparatus with a frame and screws into the vehicle with two ¾ inch drill point screws. There is, however, no requirement that the present invention be placed over an existing license plate holder or attachment means. The present invention could be placed anywhere along the front or rear of the vehicle, or on any device or apparatus, such as a trailer or storage container.

Abstract: A live eel hook-insertion device. A hand-operated unit is disclosed that generally comprises a T-handle/trigger driving a spring-mounted plunger through a housing, an open-ended eel nesting tube at one end of the housing and defined by a lateral notch, and a distal yoke on the plunger for immobilizing an eel within the nesting tube. The T-handle trigger is actuated to trap the eel, whereupon a hook can be easily inserted into the eel. The nesting tube is further defined by a lengthwise notch to allow extraction of fishing line if the eel backs out of the nesting tube with hook attached. In use, the device is inserted into a bait well full of eels and the nesting tube is placed flat against the bottom. One eel will enter the nesting tube, whereupon the yoke is distended to trap the eel against the floor of the nesting tube. A hook with attached fishing line is inserted through the notch of the nesting tube and the eel is thereby hooked.

Abstract: The invention is a two-piece, flow-through fishing lure, preferably made of plastic. The first, bottom piece is a bent, elongated piece with a slightly dished, downwardly extending front “spoon” section. The bottom piece also has a more greatly dished, horizontally extending back “trough” section with flat, top horizontal edges. The second, top piece is a straight, solid, bulbous piece with a flat bottom and a doomed top. The flat bottom of the top piece cooperates with the flat, top edges of the “trough” section of the bottom piece. This way, there is an open channel which extends through the lure from near the back end of the “spoon” section to the back end of the “trough” section. A curved metal spine is embedded in the bottom piece from near the front to near the back of the lure, with portions of the spine extending out from the bottom piece on its top in the “spoon” area, and on its bottom near the “trough” area.

Abstract: Improved flashing systems are disclosed for use with metal and non-metal roof systems. A lead flashing apparatus is provided comprising a generally planar lead base defining an aperture, a generally cylindrical structure attached to the base in surrounding relation with the aperture and projecting upward therefrom, and an adhesive sealing membrane attached to the bottom of the base for connecting the flashing to a roof The adhesive sealing membrane is not only effective in securing the flashing to the underlying roof, but further functions as a gasket separating the lead flashing base from a metal roof In a second embodiment, lead flashing having a generally planar base and upwardly projecting stack is adapted with a non-metallic coating. In a third embodiment, a flashing structure is fabricated from plastic, and preferably includes a sloped base with a tapered stack and is suitable for use on virtually any roof system.

Abstract: A skylight for a standing seam roof having a skylight panel housed in a frame with a vertically extending curb along two longitudinal and two lateral sides. The frame curb integrates on the longitudinal sides with U-shaped curbs formed into modified roof panels selected from the construction project. On the lateral sides, the frame curb integrates with curbs formed in two end pieces painted with the other roof panels in the project. Standing seams, which are raised above the surface of the roof, interconnect the regular roof panels. The modified roof panels interconnect with the standing seams of the regular roof panels. The lateral sides of the skylight assembly traverse at least one standing seam when integrated with the regular roof panels.

Abstract: The corrugated storm shutter system protects glass-covered openings from damage during windstorms. The system components include plastic panels for covering the building openings, and fastening hardware for securing the panels to the buildings. The panels may be removed from the windows during periods when windstorms are not anticipated. The panels are made of corrugated plastic material with the corrugations consisting of parallel flutes connecting the upper and lower surfaces of the panels. A single panel may be used to cover an opening window, or alternatively an opening may be horizontally spanned by a plurality of panels connected by bridging members. Mounting hardware is provided for securing the panels to a building surface over openings to be protected. The mounting hardware consists of a fastener having a lower portion adapted for penetrating and holding to a masonry surface and an upper threaded portion adapted for engaging a mating nut.

Abstract: The storm panel bracket system secures storm panels inset within the frame of building openings. The storm panel bracket system includes one or more storm brackets and one or more resilient bumpers. Each storm bracket includes an adjusting screw and adjustment nut. Turning the adjustment nut moves the nut along the adjusting screw. The moving nut moves a movable member of the storm bracket. The movable member holds a protecting storm panel and forces the panel against the frame of the window, providing a press fit that holds the storm panel in place. The storm panel bracket system includes resilient bumpers that are placed between the storm panel and the frame to cushion the frame and enhance friction.
