Abstract: Oral hygiene implements, such as manual or electric toothbrushes or refills, include a head portion sized for insertion into a human mouth that includes a base and a plurality of elastomeric elements extending from the base to define a field of elastomeric bristles. The field can include a first elastomeric element that includes a first elastomeric material and a second elastomeric element different than the first elastomeric element that includes a second elastomeric material. The elastomeric elements extending from the base can define many “sharp,” yet compliant edges, such as those having a tip radius of less than about 0.006 inch, for enhanced cleaning with reduced abrasion.

Abstract: There is provided cyclonic separating apparatus (100) comprising a chamber (112) for separating dirt and dust from an airflow, an inlet (110) to the chamber (112) and a shroud (200). The shroud (200) comprises a wall (200) having a multiplicity of through-holes (208) forming an outlet from the chamber (112), each through-hole (208) having a width and a height, wherein the through-holes (208) have substantially rectangular cross-sections with width to height ratios in the range of 1.5:1 to 1:1.5. The rectangular cross section of the through-holes (208) maximises the available through-hole (208) area in the shroud (200). This results in a low pressure drop across the shroud (200) and reduces the amount of material required for manufacture. Further, this ratio allows the cross-sectional area of the through-holes (208) to be dimensioned to prevent larger particles of dirt and dust from passing through the through-holes (208) in the shroud (200), whilst still providing the required structural integrity.

Abstract: A cyclonic separating apparatus includes a chamber for separating dirt and dust from an airflow, an inlet to the chamber and a shroud. The shroud includes a wall having inner and outer surfaces and a multiplicity of through-holes forming an outlet from the chamber. Each through-hole has an axis. The inner surface of the wall has a serrated profile having a plurality of serrations arranged around at least a part of the circumference of the wall, each serration having a first face and a second face. At least one through-hole passes through the first face of at least one serration. By providing a plurality of serrations around the inner circumference of the wall, the airflow is forced to follow a longer path through each through-hole for when compared to conventional arrangements. This reduces the amount of dirt and dust which is able to pass through the shroud.

Each of the engaged portions displaces each of the engaging portions in the direction in which the engaging portions get apart with each other and is provided by a concave that has an abutment wall on a rear portion in the releasing direction to be abutted by each of engaging portions. Each of the abutment walls is formed as a slant surface that inclines in the direction in which the abutment walls come closer to each other toward the releasing direction of the male member.

Abstract: As seen in the drawings, my invention is a device for decorating the rollover collar with gemstones and artistic configurations. The device consists of a left hand #1 decorative rigid plate and a right hand #2 decorative rigid plate which are linked together by a flexible third member #3 to form a single entity. Each rigid decorative plate is backed by a non-piercing pressure snap device of varying design and construction which is utilized to attach the decorative rigid plate to the collar wing on each side. The flexible third member is utilized for the stated purpose of linking the two decorative rigid plates together and additionally serves as a further means of enhancing the decorative nature of the device. The third member is of no particular design or configuration and can be changed routinely to fit the particular design and beauty of the finished device.

A colloidal material is applied to form a one-piece body comprising a fixing part, a flexible part and a plug part. The plug part of the gasket is inlet into the hole of the suspension sheet of the safety belt for fastening the safety belt so as to avoid the safety belt rolling automatically to bind the human body so close that the chest are oppressed uncomfortably. In addition, the gasket mounted on the outer surface of the buckle of safety belt is made of colloidal materials. Even the gasket is touched with human body in use, to adjust and to fasten the safety belt will not result in the human body being hurt from impact. It is much safer for utility.

Abstract: A strength of engagingly locking a second member to a first member is remarkably improved without causing deterioration in workability, even when improvement in the locking strength between two members is attempted using a clip. In order to lock and fix a connector housing 19 to a rotor housing 15 in an erected state, an engagement force occurs and acts between a locking claw 27 and a locking part 45, via an insertion locking male part 29 provided in a connector housing 19. By this engagement force, the movement of the insertion locking male part 29 in the inserting/extracting direction is regulated. Further, by inserting the clip 23 from the direction almost at a right angle to the inserting direction of the insertion locking male part 29, a mechanical mutual action occurs between the clip 23 and a pair of insertion engagement parts 40a and 40b, thus secondarily regulating the movement of the insertion locking male part 29 in the inserting/extracting direction.
