  • Patent number: 7493773
Abstract: A system for monitoring the amount of refrigerant supplied from a refrigerant tank to a plurality of refrigerant systems comprising a tank valve for connection to a refrigerant tank at a predetermined location. A rack of refrigerant rack lines is routed from the location to the refrigerant systems for connecting the tank valve and refrigerant to the refrigerant systems. Rack valves are disposed in the refrigerant rack lines for controlling the flow of refrigerant through the rack lines to a selected refrigerant system. A sensor for determining the amount of refrigerant supplied from the refrigerant tank to a refrigerant system and recording the supplied amount of refrigerant. The system controller controls the rack valves and tank valve to selectively connect the supply of refrigerant in the refrigerating tank with a selected refrigerant system so that the amount of refrigerant delivered to the refrigerant system is recorded by the system controller.

Abstract: A control system for a refrigerator ice/water dispenser includes an actuation switch, at least one drive unit for releasing either ice or water, a motor activation relay that controls operation of the drive unit, and a power system having multiple power supplies for operating the control system, motor activation relay and drive unit(s). Preferably, the dispenser includes multiple actuation switches, e.g. a water activation switch and a water/ice activation switch, each having an associated activation relay for independently controlling the release of water and/or ice respectively. Current for initiating the drive unit activation relays must pass through a corresponding actuation switch in order to prevent unintended release of water and/or ice. Multiple processor circuits are preferably employed, with one processor circuit relaying to another processor circuit to enable drive unit activation.

  • Patent number: 7493775
Abstract: An air conditioning apparatus has plural indoor units having: plural heat exchangers; and flow controllers respectively corresponding to the heat exchangers. In each of the indoor units, one heat exchanger is used as a condenser, and another heat exchanger is used as an evaporator, thereby causing the indoor unit to perform a temperature and humidity controlling operation. An indoor unit(s) which is not set to perform the temperature and humidity controlling operation may be caused to perform a heating operation or a cooling operation. Capacity controls on the condensers and the evaporators are performed by corresponding flow controllers. Gas refrigerants ejected from plural heat exchangers serving as evaporators are joined together, and then distributed to plural heat exchangers serving as condensers.

Abstract: The assembly includes a boil-off gas line that carries storage tank boil-off gas to a condenser that uses condensing liquid from the liquid send-out line to condense the gas. A level control valve on the condensing liquid line actively controls the flow of condensing liquid based on the liquid level in the condenser. A check valve prevents liquid from the send-out line from flowing into the condenser through the condensate line that discharges condensate from the condenser to the send-out line.

  • Patent number: 7493780
Abstract: The knitting method in accordance with the invention is based on simple knitting tools without means for closing a thread-receiving space that is created by a simple cutout configured as a stitch support shoulder. In the simplest case, the stitch is formed by a simple back-and-forth movement of two knitting tools relative to each other, whereby said knitting tools can be arranged approximately at a right angle with respect to each and can be alternately pierced through each other. In so doing, the taken up thread is pushed through the half stitch respectively carried by the other knitting tool. The knitting method is based on simple and sturdy tools that are minimally susceptible to wear. Considering the manufacture of left-left knitted goods, this method permits, in addition, a significant increase in productivity compared with conventional machines while, at the same time, featuring greater simplicity of the knitting process and of the knitting tools.
