Abstract: In controlling, with recognition of their installation positions, the opening/closing driving of plural doors that are driven by respective linear motors, each door is driven closed by switching the door opening/closing drive torque to high torque if the drive speed of the door has become less than or equal to a prescribed speed. In doing so, operation instruction computing sections set high torque application periods for respective doors so that the periods of high-torque closure driving of respective doors or predetermined door groups do not overlap with each other, and issue instructions to drive the doors closed with high torque only during the high torque application periods.

Abstract: The present invention provides a hinge device capable of adjusting an angle between a flip-up glass and a tailgate, at multiple steps, thereby improving user's convenience. The hinge device for a tailgate glass includes a base hinge, a rotary hinge, a glass hinge, and a turning angle adjusting unit. The base hinge is fixed to a tailgate and has multistage fixing gear teeth. The rotary hinge is connected to base hinge by a connecting pin so as to rotate with respect to the base hinge. The turning angle adjusting unit adjusts a relative moving stroke of glass hinge with respect to rotary hinge and thus selectively changes an engagement position between fixing gear teeth and locking protrusion, thereby adjusting the angle of glass hinge with respect to base hinge at multiple steps.

Abstract: A hanging panel assembly utilises a core which is encompassed by a press fit material installed by the user generally without mechanical attachments. A series for further members are subsequently connected to the press fit material using a snap-lock type connection. A locking mechanism is used with the hanging panel assembly which utilises a longitudinal latch operated by a rotating handle. An interference member dictates whether the longitudinal member may be moved. A disabling assembly moves the interference member out of engagement and allows the door to be opened from the inside without the necessity of inserting a key into the lock.

Abstract: A panel (14) for an overhead sectional door (10) offers increased performance and economy by optimizing the panel skin (38, 42, 50, 52). The upper and lower structural rail areas (46, 48) which typically mate with corresponding lower and upper rails (48, 46) of an adjacent panel (14) have thicker skin (38, 42, 50, 52). The non-structural areas or the front face of the panel (14) in one embodiment has a thinner skin (38, 42) which is typically embossed with a wood grain or other pattern. The structural rail areas (46, 48) which have the thicker skin (50, 52) add rigidity and resistance to deflection from wind loads and similar dynamic forces. The overhead door panel (14) with differing performance characteristics for specific portions of the skin (38, 42, 50, 52) may be utilized with a variety of rail configurations (46, 48) such as a lap joint, tongue and groove joint, and convex/concave joint between adjacent panels (14).

Abstract: The present invention provides a projected corner column A1 used for an external corner part of a wall of a building, in which a narrow chamfered part 8 is formed on an apex corner 3 of the projected corner column A1, the narrow chamfered part 8 has a continuous curved surfaces 8a, 8b rather than a flat surface so that, when the projected corner column A1 is exposed to a daytime sunlight, light parts and shade parts similar to light parts S and shade parts D that generate on surface patterned parts of a board piece 1a generate on the chamfered part 8, whereby the chamfered part 8 on the apex corner 3 of the projected corner column A1 becomes less visible as far as possible, and shades similar to the shades (S, D) that generate on the surface patterned parts generate on the chamfered part 8 to give a continuity to the patterns on the left and right board pieces 1a, 1a.

Abstract: A method of making tetrahedron packages having substantially uniform tear zones is disclosed. The method includes printing a first image at a first location of a sheet material and a second image at a second location of the sheet material, such that the first image is oriented 180° from and longitudinally arranged with respect to the second image. A tube is formed from the sheet material. The tube runs through a package forming machine to form a first tetrahedron package including the first image and a second tetrahedron package including the second image from the tube. The first tetrahedron package and the second tetrahedron package are connected by a seal zone. Substantially uniform tear zones are formed in the seal zone using a laser or a knife. The substantially uniform tear zones are at the same location with respect to a side edge of the first and second tetrahedron packages.
