Abstract: The invention concerns a hard hat having wireless protection to monitor human measuring values, such as, temperature, pulse, moisture and other values which are recorded in the head section of a human and transmitted wirelessly to a stationary or mobile reception unit and which monitor the physical constitution of the hard hat user. The invention is characterized by a device at which a hard hat is equipped with a transponder which, in turn, is data connected with several measuring sensors arranged in and at the hard hat. The transponder is also connected with an antenna located in the upper part of the hard hat. This antenna is able to transmit as omnidirectional wave the transmitting frequency transmitted by the transponder in a specific frequency range to a stationary or mobile transceiver located outside of the field. In addition, the invention is characterized by a procedure to have wireless protection to monitor human measuring values.

Abstract: A seamless hat and a method manufacturing in which cloth material is cut to form cut-out pieces having specific pattern outlines, then, after affixing superimposed edges of the cut-out pieces, then fixedly joined by ultrasonic or high frequency equipment is used to administer bonding processing. The current invention is not limited to the type of hat or specific type of materials. The preferred embodiment of the current invention involves producing highly ventilated piece of headwear. Additionally, said invention may be unnoticeably light weight to the wearer for entirely more comfortable experience.

Abstract: The head covering includes a skull portion, a visor and an expandable section for connecting the visor and the skull portion. The expandable section is moveable between an expanded position and a retracted position to move the visor between a generally horizontal position to shade the eyes and a generally vertical position to protect the back of the neck. The expandable section is interposed between and connects the skull portion and the visor. The expandable section is formed of flexible material that is easily folded.

Abstract: A retractable earplug assembly is provided that is configured to retrofit to a hardhat that includes a protective housing removably mountable to the hardhat. The earplug assembly further includes a guide base slideably cooperating with a guide portion of the housing for movement thereof along a fixed path. The earplug assembly includes an elongated flexible tether having a distal portion thereof mounted to an earplug device, and a proximal portion thereof mounted to the guide base. When the guide base is selectively moved along the fixed path, the tether and the earplug device move between a retracted condition and an extended condition, enabling usable access to the earplug device.

Abstract: A bandanna for use at sporting events, for example is disclosed. One or more graphics are located on a piece of material such that when the piece of material is properly formed into a bandanna and worn on the head of a wearer, the graphics are properly oriented. In one embodiment of the invention, the graphics and the location of the graphics are selected so that when the bandanna is properly worn on the head of the wearer, the bandanna emulates a football helmet of a sports team with the graphics orientated the same as on the sports team's football helmet. In addition to football events, the novelty bandanna can be adapted to virtually any sport as well as non-sporting events as well and may include various corporate logos as well as other graphics.

The heel has a cross-sectional profile having a major dimension and a minor dimension. The major dimension increases as the down leg transitions into the heel and reduces as the heel transitions into the out leg. This heel configuration in the trapway forms a siphon during a flushing action of the toilet.

Abstract: The invention addresses the problem of water leaking through a roughly triangular shaped opening created between a shower curtain, a bathtub rim and an adjacent wall. It does so with a simple-to-use, one-piece device which forces the edge of the shower curtain into the point where rim and wall meet, thereby eliminating the opening. Since it is mounted on the bathtub rim, the device also prevents water from flowing along such rim towards the open side of the bathtub and onto the floor.

By building the trolley (11) together with the hoisting apparatus (2), there is achieved the great advantage that the hoisting apparatus (2) is hidden inside the rail (9). Thus, a much more discreet and smart system is achieved where, otherwise, a large and unsightly hoisting apparatus would hang under the rail (9). Furthermore, an increased clearance between the hoist system (1) and the floor is attained.

The improved fishing tool has a pair of jaws defining a plurality of grooves with varying transversely-oriented lengths and varying thickness. The varying transversely-oriented lengths and thickness of the plurality of grooves allows the fishing tool to perform a crimping operation on ferrules of varying sizes along the middle portion of the ferrules without crimping the ends of the ferrules.

Abstract: A firearm servicing tool comprises a hinge piece, a fixed size wrench head, and first and second handle portions. The wrench head is attached and fixed in position relative to the hinge piece. Each of the first and second handle portions is pivotally connected to the hinge piece. The handle portions are movable relative to each other and relative to the wrench head in a manner such that the tool can be selectively reconfigured into at least first and second alternative configurations. The first and second handle portions engage each other and surround the wrench head when the tool is in the first configuration. Abstract: A hand tool for removing individual items contained in a blister package having an upper surface with raised protrusions with a given individual width containing each item and a lower sheet that holds the items within the protrusions. The hand tool includes a cutting blade having a piercing tip and slicing arms that extend outwardly from opposite sides of the piercing tip. Also included is a handle that is usable for urging the piercing tip through a protrusion and beneath a product item such that the blade will slice into the protrusion between the item and the package lower sheet. The configuration of the blade's piercing tip and slicing arms generate tactile force feedback to the user. The tactile force feedback guides the user to apply appropriate force to open the raised protrusion enough to empty its contents without damaging or losing the contents.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a method for treating a textile material with a crosslinkable high density polyethylene based elastomer compound, such treated material for use in reinforced elastomeric articles. In one embodiment, a crosslinkable high density polyethylene based elastomer compound is applied in particle form to a surface of a textile material having a plurality of interstices. The particles are of a size no greater than about 35 mesh and include a peroxide curing agent. Next, the particles are melted so as to impregnate the interstices of the textile material with the compound. Then, the compound is crosslinked in-situ via the peroxide curing agent. In one example, the rubber compound includes about 80 parts per hundred cross-linkable material (phcm) to 100 phcm crosslinkable high density polyethylene. The resulting textile material may be used as a facing fabric, e.g., in a reinforced elastomeric article, such as a toothed power transmission belt.

Abstract: A crew transfer system for transferring personnel from a vessel to a stationary platform, such as an oil rig, is disclosed. In the illustrative embodiment, the system includes a ramp that is coupled to the vessel in such a way as to permit one translational and three rotational degrees of freedom at the vessel-end of the ramp. When the ramp couples to the stationary platform, the coupling permits no translational and only two rotational degrees of freedom.

The nozzle 39 injects a fluid to a cleaning target surface covered with the cover 33.
