Abstract: A filter housing has first and second housing parts connected to each other to be openable and secured by a latching element. The latching element is connected to the first housing part by a moveable connection with a predetermined breaking point and is pivotable by the movable connection into the closed state. The latching element has two positioning elements and the housing parts have counter positioning elements. In the closed state, the counter positioning elements are axially arranged between the two positioning elements and the positioning elements form a stop for the counter positioning elements. The latching element has an element locking section locking at a housing locking section on the first or second housing part. The predetermined breaking point is subjected to mechanical stress such that the predetermined breaking point breaks upon locking or release of the latching element.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for removing rooted aquatic weeds. An elongated pole includes a remotely operated arm at its distal end. The arm is movable from a disengaged position to an engaged position. The user pushes the distal end of the pole underwater, until it enters the tendrils of a target weed. The remote control is activated, deploying the arm into an engaged position, generally perpendicular to the pole. Simultaneously, the user begins to rotate the pole until resistance to further rotation is detected. This indicates that the tendrils of the weed have been engaged by the arm. Pushing and pulling forces are applied to the pole, until the user detects that the roots of the weed have been extracted from the soil. Continued rotation of the pole while pulling upwardly brings the weed to the water surface, where it may be pulled completely out of the water.

The purpose of the invention is to create a self-rectifying reinforcing member. The reinforcement cable comprises a central wire and layer-forming wires spirally wound around the same and having a periodical profile. A periodical profile is applied on the outer section of the surface of the layer-forming wires and is made in the form of inclined protrusions above the generatrix of the crimped surface of the cable. The sections of the surface of the layer-forming wires in contact with other wires are made in the form of spirally-arranged planar flats. The cable is secured at the base of the structure and is attached upon each casting cycle between the previously-formed portion of the structure and a distribution matrix. The cable is supplied via bypass rollers and a guiding trough from reels arranged at the base.
