Abstract: Disclosed herein is a DIY shoe. The shoe includes a bottom sole which has a through hole therein, and at least one cover which is removably coupled to the bottom sole. The cover includes a connection part which is inserted into the through hole of the bottom sole, and a locking part which is provided on the connection part. The through hole has a shape of a slot of which a longitudinal length is longer than a lateral length. The locking part has a non-circular shape in which a longitudinal length of the locking part is equal to or less than the longitudinal length of the through hole and a lateral length of the locking part is greater than the longitudinal length of the locking part so that the locking part is easily inserted into the through hole but not easily removed therefrom.

Abstract: One embodiment of footwear, in the category of a sandal, which may include a sport sandal, thong, slide-on, clog, or related structured sandal for protecting feet while working or taking part in leisure activities such as walking, hiking, or running. In particular, a sports sandal (FIG. 1-3) comprising a sole (1) fabricated from a material such that during the break in period conforms to the shape and contours of the wearer's foot, in which three circular holes (2, 4, and 5) are cut through the sole (1). Provides an anti-slip heel cushion (10) for the Achilles tendon threaded on a single continuous attachment cord (3) which snugly secures the foot to the shoe sole (1) by sliding a cord lock (8) along the attachment cord (3) and through lateral hole (4) and medial hole (5) in sole (1) by which the comfort of the shoe is adjusted. An antiskid coating (9) attached to the bottom reduces sole (1) wear. Other embodiments are described and shown.

The elevated plate structure can include an upper plate and a plurality of legs extending downward toward the outsole. End portions of the legs can engage an upper region of the outsole. The elevated plate structure can further include a lower plate disposed at an upper region of the outsole, which can form a lower portion of the cage region. The elevated plate structure can include an upper plate and a plurality of legs extending downward toward the outsole. End portions of the legs can engage an upper region of the outsole. The elevated plate structure can form a cage region that can optionally include a fluid-filled chamber substantially disposed therein. The elevated plate structure can further include a lower plate disposed at an upper region of the outsole, which can form a lower portion of the cage region. Portions of the legs can be integrated with impact-attenuating members in the heel region in various configurations and can provide features for the impact-attenuating members, such as support, impact-attenuation and adjustable impact-attenuation features.

The bowling overshoe comprises a lower sole, an upper portion integral with the lower sole, a gripping section attached to a bottom surface of the lower sole and a slide section attached to the bottom surface of the lower sole. The gripping section, the slide section and the lower sole are each substantially unstretchable while the upper portion of the bowling overshoe is sufficiently stretchable to facilitate the bowling overshoe receiving, via an access opening, and accommodating different size footwear.

The present invention produces benefits to address gait related issues associated with weakened foot structure and faulty gait biomechanics.

Abstract: A high heel shoe pertains to a folding heel which folds resiliently when the heel tip contacts a surface and absorbs impact transferred from the heel of a wearer's foot to relieve fatigue while walking. The high heel shoe having a foldable heel includes: a sole (110) having a bottom portion (111) contacting the ground, and a tilt portion (112) tilted upwardly from the bottom portion (111); a heel (130) having a front top (131) hinged to the intermediate portion of the lower surface of the tilt portion (112); and a resilient member (140) of which both ends are fixed at a rear lower surface (112a) of the tilt portion (112) and at a top (132) of the heel (130), respectively. The heel (130) also has an unfolded state in which the elastic force of the resilient member (140) is released.

Abstract: A wing plow assembly includes a mast including a support frame adapted for mounting to a chassis, a moldboard having a toe end and a heel end, and a moldboard connector assembly arranged with the moldboard and the mast to provide a rotatable floating connection between the moldboard and the mast such that the moldboard is rotatably movable over a range of travel between a plowing position and a range of tripped positions. The moldboard connector assembly includes a link arm pivotably mounted with respect to the support frame and a moldboard mount pivotably mounted to the moldboard adjacent the toe end of the moldboard. The link arm and the moldboard mount are pivotably connected to each other to permit relative rotation therebetween. The moldboard can pivot from a plowing position to a tripped position when a cutting edge of the moldboard strikes an obstruction.

Abstract: An adjustable blade rake according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a mounting plate configured to mount to a machine. A backup plate is coupled to the mounting plate and includes a plurality of slots. A moldboard is attached to the backup plate. A plurality of tines are slidably located in the plurality of slots adjacent the rear side of the moldboard. A crossbar couples the plurality of tines together and a lifting device is operatively coupled to the plurality of tines and is configured to slide the plurality of tines in the plurality slots.

Abstract: A wear component for use on, for instance, an excavator formed by a shell formed from a tough metal such as carbon steel and an inner body formed from an abrasion resistant metal such as a chromium white iron. The shell includes cross portions extending through the inner body, the cross portions being made of the tough metal. This has the effect of strengthening the overall toughness of the wear component, whilst retaining desirable abrasion resistance.

In some embodiments, the display device comprises a plurality of bases removably attached to a vehicle and a display material removably connected to the plurality of bases, wherein content on the display material is visible regardless of the vehicle's velocity. The plurality of bases is adjustable for accommodating display materials of different widths and heights.

Abstract: A configurable large-depth panel display uses a number of frame members and a number of corner brackets coupled to one another to create an flexible and easily customized display device. The frame members relatively uniform, having a substantially constant cross-sectional configuration which is easily coupled to the frame members. The corner brackets can be configured in a number of different ways to produce a display product with a desired configuration. More specifically, the corner brackets can be configured to attach to frame members in a manner which produce an overall framework having multiple shapes and orientations, depending upon the desired design of the overall display. To complete the display panel, a removable face panel is attached to the frame using an interference fit caused by a ridged tab inserted into a channel that has a supporting recess. Various face panels, can be easily attached to the frame members using integral portions of the constant cross-sectional configuration.

Abstract: An apparatus for rapidly and efficiently changing artwork without having to disassemble and reassemble a mounting frame and its components, including a base frame for mounting to a wall. The base frame includes one or more magnets embedded in the base frame. A mounting board sized to match the dimensions of the base frame includes one or more metal strips matched to the placement of the one or more magnets embedded in the base frame. Optionally, a mat, glass or acrylic pane and an outer frame with one or more magnets embedded in the periphery of the outer frame matched to the placement of the one or more magnets embedded in the base frame, may be included.

Abstract: A one-piece frame adaptable for use with any display object, regardless of the dimension, shape or material. The frame also provides increased durability and resistance to wear, as well as lower costs and ease to make. Methods for making such frame are also provided.

Abstract: A display device includes a foam panel resiliently bendable from a generally planar configuration to an arcuate configuration, a sheet article, such as a picture, including a base sheet bearing an image to be displayed, and an adhesive carrier for adhering the base sheet in surface area contact with the foam panel. The base sheet is non-stretchable to hold and maintain the foam panel in the arcuate configuration, thereby enabling viewing of the image in curved form. A frame of a resilient foam material may peripherally surround the foam panel in the generally planar configuration with an interchangeable, compression fit. The foam panel self-conforms to any irregularities on a support surface against which the foam panel is directly mounted.

Abstract: A protective cover for a firearm lower receiver attaches directly and securely to the lower receiver, protecting it from any impact or debris, yet it may still be used with existing firearm protective cases and bags. Forward and rearward assembly pin holes allow securing of the protective cover to the lower receiver with assembly pins. An extrusion on a lower surface of the protective cover is capable of depressing a magazine door of a magazine installed in the lower receiver and may be transparent to allow a user to view contents of the magazine while keeping the contents protected from debris.

Abstract: A scope adjustment system includes a turret cap assembly, a saddle assembly, and a quick spanner assembly. The turret cap assembly includes a ring with a plurality of regularly spaced apart teeth residing circumferentially around the ring. The saddle assembly includes a transportation element in mechanical communication with a plunger. The saddle assembly includes a click element to engage the teeth of the ring. The quick spanner assembly includes a bolt that may be coupled to the transportation element, a cam lock hinged to the bolt, and a pressure plate residing between the bolt and the cam lock. The bolt can be screwed into the transportation element, and the cam lock can be set to apply a force on the pressure plate such that the transportation element engages the plunger. When engaged, the plunger is responsive to rotations of the turret cap to adjust, e.g., an aiming reticle.

Abstract: A fishing lure assembly is disclosed which comprises a blade free to oscillate, yaw and produce a trailing wake as the fishing lure assembly is displaced through water. A weight is affixed to the fishing lure assembly, but affixed to an associated wireform where it is inferiorly disposed relative to the blade such that the blade is free to oscillate and have side-to-side action, substantially unaffected by mass and inertia of the weight. The fishing lure may be variably constructed to include one or more hooks and artificial or natural soft bait and hard bait bodies which are disposed to follow behind the trailing wake of the blade. A compound lure is disclosed wherein the weight is replaced by a jig hook.

Abstract: A fishing hook has a head having at least two vertically arranged holes through which a fishing line is inserted. When the fishing line is threaded through both of the vertically disposed holes, the hook is stabilized in a substantially orthogonal posture relative to the fishing line, thus enhancing the likelihood of catching fish, especially with a drop-shot technique. Because the single head is small and compact, it is not exposed when the lure is affixed to the hook, thereby improving the likelihood that fish will be tempted by the lure.

Abstract: Herein we describe fishing gear having a degradable component comprising a polyhydroxyalkanoate polymer, as well as methods for ensuring that such gear has reduced functionality after becoming derelict. Derelict fishing gear has a negative economic and ecological impact, and thus it is advantageous to use gear that will lose the ability to catch and retain fish over time. Incorporating a degradable apparatus into such gear provides an effective, economical solution. Suitable degradable components are described herein.

Abstract: A crustacean trap includes a bottom wall and a side wall that extends from the bottom wall, the side wall being collapsible so that an operatively upper end of the side wall is displaceable towards and away from the bottom wall. An entryway is provided towards the upper end of the crustacean trap to allow a crustacean to enter the crustacean trap. Afloat is towards the upper end of the side wall and a sinker is towards a lower end of the side wall. A buoyancy of the float and a weight of the sinker have a relationship such that when the crustacean trap is placed in water the crustacean trap sinks and the float displaces the upper end of the side wall away from the bottom wall.

Abstract: A method for processing solid, organic wastes obtained in the production of vegetable oil, for example the production of palm oil, chiefly consisting of pressing residues of the oil plants and/or oil seeds and oil-containing waste water by hydrothermal carbonization (HTC), wherein the oil present in the waste water in emulsified form is sorbed by the solids rich in carbon, which are obtained from the solid wastes.

Abstract: A fungus cultivation device includes at least one accommodating structure and a light-emitting diode module. The accommodating structure is disposed with a main body having an opening. The main body is internally disposed with an accommodating space for accommodating fungi strains and a light-permeable cover for covering the opening so as to seal the accommodating space. A plurality of light-emitting diodes of the light-emitting diode module irradiate the accommodating structure to supply a light source for the fungus inside the accommodating structure, thereby facilitating fungus growth.

Abstract: A heated spray system for frost protection and prevent is described. Heated water, such as groundwater, is delivered through a spray system to the area surrounding the irrigated crops, thus increasing the temperature near the crops and preventing frost damage. The crops are protected from excessive irrigation with the addition of protective covers and a drainage system. When spraying groundwater for temperature control, the covers and drainage system prevent the water from reaching the roots of the crops, and thus prevent the groundwater from damaging the roots due to contaminants and pollutants in the groundwater.

Abstract: Devices and methods for attaching objects to living trees. Various forms of the devices employ a flexible member and mounting member that are configured to be looped and secured around a tree portion at a beginning of a predetermined time period. The mounting member and flexible member are configured to slide relative to each other to accommodate growth of the tree portion such that the device remains secured to the tree portion for at least the duration of the predetermined period of time without the need for human intervention. In other embodiments, the mounting member is integrally formed with the object or no mounting member is employed.

Abstract: A structure of a planting bed includes at least a work platform, a plurality of first and second supporting rods, a sliding track and an image capture apparatus. The first work platform is disposed on a work plane for supporting a plurality of plants. The first supporting rods each extend in a first direction. The second supporting rods are disposed on the work plane and around the work platform to support the work platform on the work plane, and each are connected to two adjacent first supporting rods. The sliding track is disposed on a monitoring plane and extends in a second direction. The sliding structure extends in a third direction and an end thereof is disposed on the sliding track. The image capture apparatus is installed to the sliding structure for capturing images at different positions on the work platform while the sliding structure is being driven to slide.

Abstract: Exemplary sprouters may provide automatic water level adjustment for soaking seeds and growing sprouts from those seeds in trays formed from a hydrophobic material and with holes in the bottom surface of the tray sized such that the surface tension of pure water and the hydrophobic properties of the tray material resists passage of the pure water through the holes. The automatically adjusting may be facilitated by germinating seeds soaking in water changing the surface tension of the soaking water and reducing the resistance to passage through the holes.

Abstract: Containers having air pruning holes are have dimensions configured for germination and/or growth of citrus plants, including citrus rootstock, as well as other plants. One such container may have a width of about 1.0 to 1.25 inches and a depth of about 5.0 to 7.0 inches. Another such container may have a width of about 4.0 to 6.0 inches and a depth of about 12.0 inches to 14.0 inches. Soil blends containing various additives configured for use in germination and/or growth of citrus and other plants may be used in connection with the containers or independently of the containers.

A gas mixture obtained by mixing a to-be-combusted gas with a combustion-assisting gas is supplied to a heating passage 25 in the heating layer 3. The heating passage 25 is separated into multiple separation passages 31a to 31c by separation walls 11, 13 parallel to a wall surface coated with the combustion catalyst 8. The multiple separation passages 31a to 31c respectively eject the gas mixture to different positions of the combustion catalyst 8.
