Abstract: A fabric sunshade can be assembled with glasses having temples. The sunshade is made of a piece of fabric and is provided with at least one passageway having a pair of open ends. The passageway is located adjacent to or near an edge of the sunshade for receiving the temples of the glasses to attach the sunshade to the glasses. When the glasses and sunshade are worn by a person a portion of the passageway is disposed on a back side of the head of the person and the sunshade extends downward to shade at least a portion of a neck of the person.

Abstract: A partial glove is provided for use in preparing vegetables which is easy to put on and take off, which provides underside gripping features for preventing vegetable slippage and which provides protection against cutting or abrading during vegetable preparation.

Abstract: An insole for a shoe is characterized by a cushioning device that circulates air between a plastic bottom layer and a soft, porous upper layer. The air is directed to designated areas of the insole via vertical apertures, which circulate air to and over the foot of a user. The bottom layer is formed with air capturing structures that when collapsed expel air that is forced through the apertures and to the surface of the user's foot. The bottom layer and the upper layer are separated by a porous middle layer that may be foam or other light weight but breathable material.

The garment for layering can further include a second supplementary garment worn directly outside the outer garment so as to form a seven-layer construction.

Abstract: Disclosed is a glove comprising a fibrous glove and a coating layer of a rubber or a vinyl chloride-based resin formed on an outer surface side of the fibrous glove, wherein at least an inner surface side of the fibrous glove includes a microfiber having a diameter of a monofilament of not more than 6 ?m. The glove of the present invention is not only excellent in slip resistance on both the outer surface side and the inner surface side, but also excellent in adhesion strength to rubber or resin formed on the outer surface side.

A cover sheet is included in the system and is adapted to be secured along at least a portion of the length of the cover support member. The cover sheet hangs down from the cover support member to provide the desired covering function.

Abstract: A headset for a helmet transmits audio signals using bone conduction, and transmits audio signals even when not using bone conduction. A headset for a helmet for transmitting audio signals to a user wearing a helmet includes: a bone conduction oscillator which receives the audio signals and emits audio oscillations; an arm part which has the bone conduction oscillator on the leading end side thereof; and an attachment part which attaches the base end side of the arm part on the outer side of the crown of the helmet in a rotatable manner. The bone conduction oscillator is brought into contact with either the head portion of the user or the outer side of the crown, depending on the angle of rotation a of the arm part. The audio signals are thus transmitted to the user when bone conduction is not used by using sounds emitted by the crown.

A sports helmet further includes a shock absorbing liner removably disposed within the shell. The liner includes at least one replacement pad which has a plurality of spaced-apart structures which absorb energy of an impact at the outer surface of the shell by deformably crushing. The number, spacing, size, shape and material of the structures are predetermined based on level of play of the sport.

Abstract: A protective brim guard for a hard hat is provided which has an enclosed elastic band with an outer bead section and a skirt extending inward from the bead section. The bead section has a circular configuration forming an internal chamber which communicates with the outside atmosphere via a channel leading to the chamber. The internal chamber and channel allows the bead section to be expanded and contracted for mounting over a hard hat brim. The skirt defines an interior planar surface which is adapted to engage the exterior surface of a hard hat when the brim guard is mounted to the hard hat.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for an earring safety device that can be clipped to an ear enveloping an earring so as to protect the ear and the wearer's head from the earring during fast-paced activities. The earring safety device can enable athletes to participate in contact sports without removing the earring, especially where rules would otherwise preclude the athlete from competing. The earring safety device can also protect the wearer from snagging the earring during high-intensity activities and jobs The protection also protects the athlete from injury due to impacts made to the earring.

Abstract: This invention relates to a simple and handy snow goggles in which an elastic face-fitting part is attached to the rear side face of a lens along the periphery. Both sides of the lens are extended outward to form extension portions on which slots are provided for assembly with gaskets. A strap is linked between the two gaskets. In this manner, a simple and handy snow goggles with frameless structure and easiness for lens replacement can be obtained.

The automatic bidet is capable of cleaning anus and private parts of a male or a female, and the handheld spray device can be used to carry out enema by a user and the wastes can be let off completely. The whole process can be done under the condition that a user sits on the toilet.

Abstract: A drain assembly including a drain pipe with a threaded portion and a nut is provided. The drain pipe includes a first end, an elbow portion, and a second end. The first end includes an annular flange and the threaded portion. To interconnect the drain assembly to a bathtub, the second end of the drain pipe is inserted through a drain port of the tub until the annular flange abuts a bottom wall of the tub. The nut is then threaded onto the threaded portion of the drain pipe to secure the drain pipe to the bathtub. The second end of the drain pipe is then interconnected to drain plumbing.

Abstract: The invention involves a folding patient transfer apparatus with a material top layer and a material bottom layer. A plurality of inserts has handhold openings that are formed in the inserts that are positioned between the material top layer and the material bottom layer utilizing a sewn plurality of insert seams. The seams form enclosed material chambers containing the inserts. The materials can be disposed of due to contamination; however the inserts can be sterilized reducing hospital waste and cost. The apparatus is configured to slide and/or lift and/or carry a patient from a non-planer surface to a second planer or non-planer surface.

The crib includes a crib mattress support board, two longitudinal and two transverse side panels removably attachable one to another in a crib configuration. Upon detachment of the respective at least one extension therefrom, the main member of the crib mattress support board is convertible to a headboard of the bed, while the main member of each longitudinal side panel is convertible to bed mattress support of the bed. One or more fasteners may be used to fasten the bedding cover to the bed sheet and the fasteners may be placed in various locations where the bedding cover and bed sheet overlap. The fasteners may include magnets, VELCRO®, buttons, and the like. The bedding cover may be a comforter, blanket, quilt or some other material. In one embodiment, a magnet or a set of magnets may be placed over the bedding cover or over a bed sheet folded over the bedding cover, and another magnet or set of magnets may be placed under the bed sheet in the same area as the first magnet or set of magnets to fasten the bed sheet to the bed cover.

Abstract: The embodiments of the invention relate to methods of use of an extraction cleaning machine for cleaning a carpet segment of relatively rectangular configuration defined by a first edge, a second edge and opposite side edges comprising (a) applying a liquid cleaning solution to the carpet segment in a narrow band that extends between the side edges and moves between the first and second edges and (b) applying suction in a narrow band that extends between the side edges and moves between the first and second edges. Acts (a) and (b) can be repeated and performed in a predetermined sequence to improve the cleaning effectiveness of an extraction cleaning machine.

Abstract: A medical health care blanket or fabric, formed of micro-denier fibers, e.g., polyester or other suitable polymer, has at least one raised surface, and incorporates an antimicrobial system having durable antimicrobial properties after at least 50, 100, 150, or even up to 200 industrial laundering cycles. Abstract: A densified fluid barrier cleaning system is disclosed in which a pressure vessel encases a movable basket positioned so as to cross a barrier such that one opening of the pressure vessel resides in a first environment and a second opening of the pressure vessel resides in a second environment. A tubular basket within the pressure vessel is positioned such that its central longitudinal axis is aligned with both the first and second opening of the pressure vessel. Responsive to the successful completion of a cleaning cycle, soiled articles that are introduced to the basket via the first opening from the first environment can be removed through the second opening and into the second environment thus bridging the barrier without fear of introducing contaminants from the first environment to second environment.

The sole structure includes a fluid-filled chamber with a first surface, an opposite second surface, and a third surface extending between the first and second surfaces. Whereas the first surface and the second surface each have a thickness of one sheet of a polymer material, the third surface may be formed to have a thickness of two overlapping sheets of the polymer material. The third surface may be exposed to an exterior of the footwear to form a portion of a side surface of the sole structure.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a lawn sweeper designed to collect debris, such as grass clippings and leaves, from a surface such as a lawn, and more particularly to a lawn sweeper with an adjustable brush assembly and characteristics associated with improved storage of such a device. A user may adjust the brush assembly with respect to the housing without needing to move the wheels. The hopper assembly may include a panel movable to be placed in at least two orientations, thereby allowing a user to change the volume within which the hopper assembly may collect debris. Methods are also disclosed for adjusting the brush assembly and for storing a lawn sweeper unit.

Abstract: A composition is provided that includes 0.5 to 15 total weight percent of a surfactant. The surfactant is a non-ionic surfactant, an anionic surfactant, or a combination thereof. The composition also includes 0.01 to 35 total weight percent of solvent including a microemulsion, a carboxylic acid ester based ketal ester solvent, or a combination thereof 0.1 to 10 total weight percent of at least one emollient, and 60 to 99.3 total weight percent of water also being present. The resultant composition has total volatile organic content (VOC) composition of less than 2 total weight percent and as a result, the composition is more environmental benign and less irritating to skin than conventional waterless hand cleaners. The composition is well suited for being impregnated into a substrate of a towel presenting two opposed surfaces, the substrate having pores for absorbing and retaining the composition.

The brush assembly enjoys a longer life than that expected from a disposable cleaning pad thus the brush assembly may be reused many times before it needs to be replaced.
