Abstract: A convertible garment for outdoor usage is disclosed. The garment basically comprises a quilted jacket-like upper member having a hood and a quilted zip-off skirt member. The skirt member is releasably secured to the jacket member by a zipper and when secured to the jacket upper member allows the wearer to remain warm by keeping his/her legs therein. The jacket member includes at least one air vent, as does the skirt member. The skirt member is arranged to be disconnected from the jacket member and opened and flattened to form a blanket.

Abstract: A garment is provided, having a hood for covering a head while exposing a face of a hooded user through a front periphery. The hood includes a collar portion which is circumferentially extending and is capable of wrapping about a neck of a user. The collar portion includes a neck periphery, which is circumferentially extending about a portion of the collar portion and is where the hood terminates, the neck periphery being capable of laying proximate to a nape of a user's neck. The collar portion includes a first circumferential end and an opposing second circumferential end. Extending downwardly from the first end of the neck periphery is a first panel and extending downwardly from the second end of the neck periphery is a second panel. The first and second panels are long and soft enough to lay on a torso and be selectively maneuvered about a user's face.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for securing a shirt collar in a desired position and orientation, magnetically, against a shirt front, using a decorative collar link assembly. The decorative collar link apparatus is an assembly that includes a decorative cap assembled to a single base magnet thereby attachable to an outside surface of a shirt collar, aligned opposite a separate single magnet placed against the inside surface of a shirt, wherein the decorative collar link assembly on the outside of a shirt is magnetically attachable to the inside magnet through the shirt material, for securing the shirt collar in the selected position and orientation. There are no pins or other interlocking devices as the collar links are held in place strictly via opposing magnet forces of attraction.

Actions such as sanding can be accomplished with more force, and less user fatigue.

Abstract: A headgear apparatus, which permits the flow of air through as conduit embedded within the interior of said apparatus. The device is a flexible comb-like arrangement, contoured to the general shape of a person's scalp. The teeth of the comb are constructed with outlets, permitting the passage of air from the embedded conduit through the outlets. Airflow is initiated and maintained by an electrically-driven miniature fan within a control unit, and propelled through the conduit. The apparatus may be further equipped with a coolant within the control unit to lower the temperature of air that is propelled through the conduit. A different embodiment of the device is fitted with control mechanisms to regulate the volume of airflow and to measure the temperature of the air being directed to the conduit.

A user wishing to access a firearm in a boot holster is only required to grab the zipper located near the knee area of the pant leg and push it down until the firearm is revealed. As such, the pant leg inner seam zipper facilitates the rapid access to a firearm in a boot holster.

Essentially oval and ear shaped, the ear guard is made to accommodate the entire ear, like a glove on the hand, comprising an elastic band around its perimeter to ensure a secure fit while in use.

The comfort liner 40 in turn comprises at least one adjustable device 50 which during the normal use of the helmet 10 is positioned on the top of the head of the user. According to the invention, the adjustable device 50 is suitable for being fastened to the impact absorbing liner 30 of the helmet 10 by means of coupling means 80 provided at the ends 64 of the adjustable device 50. The coupling means 80 are suitable for being removably engaged inside anchor means 90 provided on the impact absorbing liner 30 of the helmet 10. Each anchor means 90 has a plurality of anchor points 94A, 94B, 94C. By changing the anchor point 94A, 94B, 94C where the coupling means 80 of the adjustable device 50 are engaged, the user is allowed to adjust the conformation and slope of the adjustable device 50 of the helmet 10 according to his own needs.

These axes define a sloped incline and, thus, a built-in, gravitationally-directed downwardly-disposed inclination. Because the axes usually do not fall on the axis (56x) of the conduit, they are angled and offset from the conduit axis. The offset of the bushing raises it above the axis of the conduit. Tubing (60, 60a) is secured at its end (62, 62a) to the bushing exit portion so that the tubing axis at its end (62, 62a) similarly is raised above the conduit axis. The tubing extends from the bushing at an incline that is determined by the built-in incline of the bushing.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present application relates to a water tank for a toilet. The water tank includes a first chamber comprising an orifice for connecting to a toilet bowl. The water tank further includes a free-floating member within the first chamber that is not coupled to any other component and that is configured to selectively engage with and disengage from the orifice to selectively block or allow a flow of water through the orifice. The free-floating member can be selectively disengaged from the orifice via an actuator or a differential pressure within the water tank.

Abstract: A pool cover that is adapted to rest directly on the surface of the pool water is provided. The present pool cover consists of a series of planar panels composed of transparent, durable plastic material and a flotation portion disposed about the periphery of the panels. The set of panels are preferably connected together by straps with hook and loop fastener material or other such connectors. When connected together, the plurality of panels form a single contiguous unit that is adapted to cover the entire surface area of a pool. The present pool cover is superior to conventional pool covers because it is adapted to bear weight, preventing children and pets from falling into the pool through the cover and becoming entangled in the collapsed flexible material.

The upper section exhibits four squares or four triangles therein, The upper section has a dome-shaped configuration and has four square or triangular shapes therein, depending on the geometric division therein, each shape has openings therein. The lower section has four trapezoid shapes therein. Each of the shapes of the upper section, whether square or triangular, has a concave surface curvature therein at a transition between the upper and the lower section. Each of the trapezoids of the lower section has two concave surfaces- curvatures therein. One curvature extends in a first direction from the upper section toward an outside edge of grate cover. The other second concave curvature extends in a direction which is normal to the first direction.

The patient positioning system includes a positioning pad having a body formed from a compressible material including a slip-resistant surface, a first end and a second end. The body has a thickness which increases from the first end of the positioning pad to the second end of the positioning pad. A plurality of tethers is fixedly secured to the body. Each of the tethers includes a fastening member adapted to secure the body to an operating table. The body includes a transverse cut which extends transversely from one side wall of the body to an opposite side wall of the body. The system also includes a sheet positioned within the transverse cut of the body of the positioning pad spaced from the slip-resistant surface of the positioning pad and at least one strap for securing the patient to the operating table. The positioning pad may include a perforated section to mirror a perineal cutout of an operating table.

Abstract: Described is a pillow having an integrated alarm system that is wirelessly operable using an external electronic device, such as a smartphone, tablet computer, or other similar electronic devices. The pillow has a soft, cushioned body, preferably composed of foam, and the pillow has an interior cavity in which an alarm system is positioned. The exterior surface of the pillow body includes a stretchable band thereon to help the user to hold the pillow. Further, the pillow can be disposed within a removable cover that protects the pillow body from stains or damage. The alarm system includes a speaker for producing a tone or playing music to wake a user and a vibrating motor to silently wake the user without disturbing others. The user can select the time of the alarm and the type of the alarm remotely using the external electronic device.

The riser element and the support element are each disposed within a casing formed at least in part with a stretch material. In some embodiments, the riser element includes a polyester filler material and the stretch material includes a four-way stretch material. The four-way stretch material in combination with the polyester filler material enables the riser element to be conformable.
