A retainer retains the rim on the fork and has an aperture aligned with the fork pass-through aperture.     Abstract: A laminated iron core manufacturing method in a blanking die apparatus having multiple machining stations is provided. The method includes feeding a belt-shaped workpiece progressively in a longitudinal direction in the blanking die apparatus, operating cutting tools provided in the respective machining stations simultaneously to perform predetermined blanking operations on the progressively fed workpiece and finally perform a contour blanking operation on the workpiece so as to form core pieces, and laminating the core pieces within or outside the blanking die apparatus to thereby manufacture a laminated iron core. An auxiliary cutting tool is operated to form a disposal hole by partly blanking a scrap forming area of the workpiece simultaneously with the operations of the cutting tools of the multiple machining stations, to thereby secure a load balance of the blanking die apparatus in the feeding direction.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to connector tools for seating connectors on a substrate such as a printed circuit board. In various embodiments, the connector tools can be made by wire electrode discharge machining (WEDM) process. In the embodiments, the connector tool includes reinforced ribbed end walls, ribbed internal walls, interconnected walls and contours that reduce tool and connector damage. In other embodiments, the connector tools include guiding structures that align the connector tool to the connector before seating the connector so that the connector tool aligns to the connector pins and body to avoid damage to the connector and/or the substrate. In another embodiment, the connector tool has guiding skirts and surfaces to capture the connector in position then seat the connector. Thus, the invention reduces connector and substrate damage during manufacturing, reduces tool damage, and lowers product costs by boosting manufacturing yields.

    Abstract: A tool for installing a retrofit bearing having a length that extends beyond the original location of a tapered sleeve used to secure an original bearing and a method of performing the installation provide a reliable way to replace an engine bearing that supports and extends within a shaft end. The tool includes a flange with holes matching the engine block, a body coupled to the flange for accepting the captive portion of the replacement bearing, and a tapered sleeve disposed within the tool body for compressing a wire lock engaged with a mating channel of the replacement bearing when the captive portion is in the tool. The tapered sleeve has a diameter that mates with an inside diameter of an end of the engine shaft, so that the wire lock remains compressed until it engages with the channel provided in the engine shaft for the original snap ring.
