Abstract: A washer for use in a snap fastener is adapted to be placed over the lower part of a snap fastener component so that the washer rests between the fabric and the lower part of the snap fastener. The upper part of the snap fastener is placed over the fabric and is pressed into place by a tool press. The washer is made of a resilient material, such as plastic or rubber, which is then squeezed by the tool press to fill in any gaps that would allow water to leak through. In its unassembled state, the washer consists of a flat ring surrounding a center protrusion, which is hollow on its inside. To assemble the snap fastener, the center protrusion is placed over the central post of the lower part of the snap fastener. The central post with the washer is then inserted through a hole in the fabric to which the snap fastener is to be attached.

Each opening can receive a detent bolt of a modular tabletop element, each element having at least two detent bolts for the insertion into one of the detent openings. In a second variant, each tabletop element has at least one detent opening on a front and/or rear side of the tabletop element, for insertion of a detent bolt. The front and/or rear frame part of the laboratory table have detent bolts arranged at a regular distance defining a modular grid, each one of the detent bolts being for insertion into one of the detent openings of the tabletop elements positioned on these front and rear frame parts.

Abstract: Paper-made composite furniture comprises at least two connection tubes and at least one spacer that are coupled together. Each connection tube is a hollow tube with an inner side made of spool paper and an outer side made of kraft paper. The connection tube has at least one latch groove. The spacer is a solid panel made of the spool paper with the outer side coated by the kraft paper. The spacer has two sides wedged in the latch grooves of the connection tubes. The spool paper has characteristics to withstand greater loading and pressure, thus can replace the conventional furniture made of woods, plastics or metal. The invention not only can reduce material, transportation and assembly costs, also can reduce environmental pollution and facilitate carrying and assembly during outing. The kraft paper can be formed with colors, patterns or texts, thus can provide greater visual appeal.

Abstract: A slide assembly includes an outer slide segment, preferably at least one intermediate slide segment and an inner slide segment. An automatic closure arrangement applies a closing force to one or both of the inner and intermediate slide segments. In some configurations, a dampening arrangement dampens at least a portion of the travel of the slide assembly, such as the end portion of the closing travel of the slide assembly. The automatic closure arrangement can include two biasing elements, such as upper and lower constant force springs. The closure force of the constant force springs can be applied directly to the intermediate slide segment and the inner slide segment can be coupled for closing movement to the intermediate slide segment.
