Abstract: Disclosed herein are abdominal-restraint garments comprising an outer garment layer and an inner abdominal-restraint layer. The inner abdominal-restraint layer can be attached to the outer garment layer. In some embodiments, a front bottom and/or back bottom of the inner abdominal-restraint layer are attached to an inner side of the outer garment layer. The front top of the inner abdominal-restraint layer can be configured to be even with the front rise of the outer garment layer or extend above the front rise of the outer garment layer. The inner abdominal-restraint layer can be configured to extend across a garment-wearer's abdominal region. In some embodiments, the abdominal-restraint garment is a pair of pants, jeans, a pair of shorts, a skirt, leggings, or tights. Also disclosed herein are methods of assembling the abdominal-restraint garments disclosed herein.

The pocket is configured to at least partially cover at least one intimate part of a user. At least one insulating insert including at least one layer of thermal insulation material is removably positioned in the pocket and configured to passively provide thermal insulation to the intimate part. The at least one insulating insert can provide an R-value of greater than about 3.5.

For example, the waistband elements may be (a) a layered structure with a textile layer and a polymer layer, (b) a layered structure joined with stitching, (c) a layered structure joined with bonds, or (d) a layered structure formed from a folded material element. In order to limit stretch in the waistband region, a tensile component may be utilized.

In at least one embodiment, a personal climate-control system includes a fluid-thermal-conditioning system; a fluid reservoir; a pump; a flow-control manifold configured to provide a flow path for a heat-transfer fluid to heat-transfer-fluid-enabled articles; first and second tubing systems; an electrical connection configured to receive power from an external power supply; a battery configured to provide electrical power to the pump when the electrical connection is not receiving power from an external power supply; and a control module comprising a mode-selector switch and an intensity-selector control, where the mode-selector switch has an off position, a heating position, and a cooling position.

An outer cover has fabric sheets which may have sewn on attachments and with an inside thermoplastic coating. The ballistic panel within the thermoplastic bag is inserted within the outer cover and sewn therein. The assumably is heated and placed in a bladder press and formed to a three-dimensional shape normally conforming at least in part to the human body. The final ballistic vest or ballistic component is a thin form-fitting ballistic armor part which is waterproof without stitching through the thermoplastic inner bag and the ballistic panel.

Each pull strap may be configured to receive a finger or a user's hand, and may comprise a first end which may be coupled to a phalange region and a second end which may be removably coupled to the pull strap anchor. By coupling the pull straps to the pull strap anchor, a reverse counterforce may be exerted against the phalange regions as to open the hand and prevent involuntary clenching.

Abstract: An absorbent headband for absorbing sweat from the head of the wearer. The absorbent headband includes a loop of material having an elastic portion connecting opposing ends thereof. The loop of material includes an outer surface having a logo attached thereto and an inner surface comprising an absorbent material that contacts the head of a wearer and absorbs sweat therefrom. The elastic portion is disposed on a rear portion of the headband and is shorter than the overall length of the headband, which allows the headband to be securable to a wearer's head without exerting excessive pressure around the circumference of the head.

Abstract: The invention is an apparatus to add up to five inches of length to a necktie with the application of a 1 inch×6 inch plastic strip utilizing an acrylic adhesive 1 inch×1 inch square to attach the plastic strip to the tie tail or rear portion of the necktie. With the apparatus in place and the necktie is knotted or tied, the additional length enables rear portion of a necktie or tie tail to reach into the keeper loop or label on the back of the tie. The entire necktie is able to move naturally and the rear portion of the necktie or tie tail is kept in place behind the front of the necktie. The rear portion of a necktie or tie tail is able to easily move vertically within the keeper loop or label when the main tie moves during normal wear.

The magnet fastener comprises two mating, magnetically attracted elements of minimal thickness. This helmet has same appearance as current ones but changing the inner liner structure, altering inner liner material to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and decreasing the contacting surface between wearer head and the helmet, causing a decrease in temperature and the amount of interior confined heat of the helmet and preventing extra perspiration of wearer by a better ventilation and as a result lead to more efficient motorcycle helmet in comparison with current ones.

The light-emitting shoes comprise a shoe body with an external surface, a bottom, and the light-emitting module mentioned above. The actuated switch, the controller, and the light-emitting device are disposed on the bottom, and the light-emitting device is disposed on the external surface and/or the bottom. The tightening mechanism allows incremental adjustment of the tension of the lace.
