Abstract: A portable toilet has a seat and a waste receptacle mounted to a frame to allow use as a toilet in conventional fashion. The waste receptacle is pivotally mounted to the frame to allow the forward end of the receptacle to be lifted to spill the contents into a conventional building toilet. A pour spout extends from a rearward end of the waste receptacle. The frame, seat and the waste receptacle are configured to place the waste receptacle at a proper height for personal use and for pivoting the waste receptacle to spill the contents thereof into the conventional building toilet. A water flush system is provided which includes a water supply and nozzles mounted to the waste receptacle for cleaning the contents there-from. The water supply may be provided by connecting to a building water faucet, or by mounting a tank and pump to the portable toilet.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a separation device (14) for separating a cyclone chamber (15) from a collection chamber (16) of a cyclonic separator (10). The separation device (14) has a guide member (17) that comprises a leading end (17A), a trailing end (17B), and a guide surface (17C). The guide surface guides debris entrained in an airflow in the cyclone chamber in a helical path about an axis (X-X) of the separation device (14) and into the collection chamber (16). The guide surface extends about the axis of the separation device (14) through an angle of less than 360 degrees for allowing debris in the cyclone chamber (15) to also pass into the collection chamber (16) from the cyclone chamber in an axial direction. The leading end (17A) of the guide member (17) is at an angle (a) between 30 degrees and 60 degrees towards the cyclone chamber (15) with respect to the axis (X-X) of the separation device (14) to promote a helical flow of air and debris flowing over the guide surface.

Abstract: Various examples of methods and systems are provided for real-time signal processing. In one example, a method for processing data to select a pattern includes receiving data via a sensor, evaluating the data including waveforms over a time domain, averaging the waveforms to obtain a mean waveform, selecting a pattern based on the mean waveform, and generating a notification regarding the selected pattern. The pattern can include a start time, a hold time, and an end time. In another example, a system includes one or more sensors that detect the data and a mobile platform that evaluates the data, averages the waveforms to obtain the mean waveform and selects a pattern based on the mean waveform. A user interface can be used to communicate the notification regarding the selected pattern. The patterns can include breathing patterns, which can be used to reduce stress in a subject being monitored by the sensor.
