Abstract: A pin bone removal system involves automatically removing a pin bone area of a fish fillet when conveyed by a conveyor after undergoing a cutting process, and includes at least two side by side arranged conveyor belts extending from a first end for receiving a fish fillet to a second end. The internal arrangement of the side by side arranged conveyor belts is such that the spacing varies among first end the conveyor belts along their length. The transversal position of the fish fillet in relation to the first end is adjusted when the fish fillet arrives at the downstream position such that the position of the cut pin bone area is such that the cut pin bone area falls through the space while the remaining part of the fish fillet remains on the first and/or second conveyor belts.

Abstract: A swaddling towel has a major dimension and a minor dimension and fasteners are provided on the towel for securing the towel around a neck of a caregiver so that the towel may depend from the neck of the caregiver. First and second cooperating fasteners are spaced apart along the minor dimension and third and fourth cooperating fasteners are spaced apart along the major dimension. Securing the towel using the first and second cooperating fasteners, spaced along the minor dimension, results in the towel depending from the neck of the caregiver in the direction of the major dimension, facilitating wrapping of a new-born/baby. Securing the towel using the third and fourth cooperating fasteners, spaced along the major dimension, results in the towel depending from the neck of the caregiver in the direction of the minor dimension, facilitating wrapping of an infant/toddler.

Abstract: A bra incorporates shape memory alloy, either in shape memory or super-elastic states, an accelerometer, a power source, a microprocessor, and an algorithm implemented by the microprocessor to learn and adapt to the displacement pattern of the wearer's breast during a physical activity. The shape memory alloy is in the form of SMA or super-elastic wires integrated into portions of the bra, whereby activating the wire(s) shortens the corresponding wire to produce a compressive force on the breast within the bra. The system thereby provides real-time, active suspension to control breast displacement or bounce.

Abstract: A multipurpose garment is a vest with a detachable first sleeve and a detachable second sleeve. Sleeve fasteners positioned along a first arm cuff, second arm cuff, first detachable sleeve, and second detachable sleeve allow for the sleeves to be attached and detached from the vest. For storage purposes, a plurality of pockets is positioned across a rear panel and a front panel of the vest. Additionally, an elastomeric retention strap is positioned on the front flap and can be used to hold items against the vest. The plurality of pockets includes two columns of pockets plus a lone pocket on the front. The plurality of pockets also includes a first and second rear pocket which are connected by a channel, suited for electronic devices and portable power supplies. Drawstrings and belt loops, and front panel flaps allow for the garment to adjust to a better fit for a person.
