  • Publication number: 20190000052
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments directed to a soft-bodied fishing lure which extends a fish hook when a fish bites on a back region of the lure. In its default or natural resting position, the soft-bodied fishing lure keeps the hook in a retracted state to prevent or otherwise substantially reduce the frequency of the hook becoming snagged on weeds, algae, and matted vegetation when the lure is being fished. In some embodiments, the hook may be secured to the soil-bodied fishing lure in a substantially vertical orientation by a set of nylon plastic members that were previously molded with the soft-body material of the lure. These nylon plastic members, which advantageously do not rust or exhibit the same sharp edging as metallic components, restrict motion of the hook in undesirable directions so as to substantially prevent engagement of the hook with the soft-body material of the lure.

Abstract: The present invention relates in general to fishing lures, and more specifically, to an expanding or contracting fishing lure that provides a natural movement that mimics live bait. The fishing lure is configured so that when the fishing lure is retrieved (e.g., reeled in) or jigged by an angler, or the fishing line is pulled or twitched, the fishing lure transitions from a first position to a second position and then returns to the first position. The purpose of the invention is to provide a fishing lure that will successfully attract fish by displaying a unique action in the water.

Abstract: A pancake cooking device with two opposable, generally circular, internally heated cooking plates having substantially smooth cooking surfaces that are cooperatively configured to be selectively placed in facing and spaced-apart relation to contact and cook flowable pancake batter disposed between the plates to form a generally circular pancake that, when removed from the device and oriented in a preferred serving position, has a substantially uniform thickness between substantially planar, top and bottom pancake surfaces, and a continuous, circumferentially extending, outwardly inclined and upwardly facing lip of substantially uniform height disposed around the perimeter of the top surface of the pancake. The pancake cooking device is desirably configured to cook each pancake in an inverted position with the circumferentially extending, outwardly inclined lip projecting downwardly and away from the top and bottom pancake surfaces when the cooked pancake is oriented in a preferred serving position.

Abstract: A bone removal device for a chicken bonjiri includes a rotating conveyor mechanism that moves a plurality of receivers which are arrayed in a circumferential direction about a center of a disc taken as a support shaft, intermittently at a constant speed in a horizontal direction and rotates; a holder of a stamping punch mechanism that stamps and removes a coccyx in each of the bonjiris, which are mounted on the receivers, from the bonjiri in a state where this rotating conveyor mechanism is stopped; and an arm of a processed meat delivery mechanism that carries the bonjiri, from which such a bone is removed, out to the device by reversing each of the receivers.

Abstract: An in-line shell egg pasteurizer has a clean-in-place system. Empty shell egg carriers are placed in the water bath for multiple cleaning cycles. The cleaning solution level is lowered to expose the shell egg carriers and the top parts of the water bath walls. An air perturbation is used to agitate cleaning solution held in the bottom of the water bath and clean heating coils and other components located in the bottom of the water bath. Sprayers (e.g., nozzles, cleaning spray balls, etc . . . ) mounted on a hood over the water bath clean the top parts of the water bath walls and the empty shell egg carriers placed in the water bath.
