Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to a safety match box and comprises a cover member of a generally box-like configuration which has a slidable tray having a pack of matches fastened thereto which fits within the cover member. The general object of this invention is the provision of a very simple device which is adapted to hold a box of matches, a shelf, and lock the box thereto permitting the box to be opened and the matches removed whenever desired. This invention is to provide a child-proof safety match box wherein the tray cannot be completely withdrawn from the cover and particular manipulative steps must be taken in order to open the container.

Abstract: Smoking articles, and methods for forming such smoking articles, such as an electronic smoking article, are provided. An exemplary smoking article comprises a control body portion having a control body engagement end, and having a first control component therein. A cartridge body portion includes a cartridge body engagement end configured to removably engage the control body engagement end of the control body portion. The cartridge body portion further includes a consumable arrangement comprising at least an aerosol precursor composition and at least one heating element operably engaged therewith, and a second control component. At least the consumable arrangement is configured to be in communication with the first control component upon engagement between the cartridge body and control body portions.

Abstract: An atomizing electronic cigarette has an atomizing core component and a liquid storage component including an electric heater. The electric heater may have a through hole aligned with a channel passing through the liquid storage component. The cigarette can heat and uniformly vaporize liquid from the liquid storage component, with the user inhaling the vaporized liquid. The vapor generated by the atomizing process may be cooled as it flows through the channel.

Abstract: Smoking articles are disclosed herein. In one aspect, a smoking article includes a heat source configured to generate heat upon ignition thereof, a first substrate material having an aerosol precursor composition associated therewith and a first end being fixedly engaged with the heat source, and an aerosol delivery component having opposed first and second ends, the first end of the aerosol delivery component being engaged with the second end of the first substrate material. In some aspects, the aerosol delivery component includes a second substrate material having the aerosol precursor composition associated therewith and being disposed about the first end of the aerosol delivery component and a tobacco material disposed between the second substrate material and the mouthpiece, the aerosol precursor composition associated with the first and second substrate materials being configured to produce an aerosol in response to the heat generated by the ignited heat source.

A reservoir (200) is provided in the compartment (102) for storing liquid, with at least one portion the reservoir (200) attached to the housing (100). The reservoir (100) contracts as liquid flows out of the reservoir (200). The reservoir (200) does not collapse or fold as it contracts, to avoid interfering with outflow of liquid. The reservoir (200) may comprise an elastomeric material, such as rubber. The reservoir (200) may be pretensioned or elastically stretched when filled with liquid. The reservoir (200) then exerts an elastic compression force on the liquid in the reservoir (200).

Abstract: A reservoir assembly is provided for a personal vaporizer device, such as an electronic smoking article or an e-cigarette. The reservoir assembly comprises a housing which encloses a reservoir for storing a liquid to be vaporized, wherein the housing and/or the reservoir define a flow path for the liquid from the reservoir for vaporization of the liquid. The reservoir assembly further comprises a mouthpiece provided in or on the housing and defining a channel for conveying vapour formed from the liquid to a user's mouth. The mouthpiece is configured for movement between a first position and a second position, wherein the flow path is closed or blocked when the mouthpiece is in the first position and wherein the flow path is open in the second position. Also provided is a personal vaporizer device, such as an electronic smoking article or an e-cigarette, which includes such a reservoir assembly.

The control circuit is electrically connected to a first end of the ultrasonic atomization sheet through the first drive oscillation circuit, and the control circuit is electrically connected to a second end of the ultrasonic atomization sheet through the second drive oscillation circuit. The circuit for the ultrasonic electronic cigarette further includes a detection circuit. An output end of the detection circuit is electrically connected to the control circuit. And a detection end of the detection circuit is connected between the ultrasonic atomization sheet and the first drive oscillation circuit, or between the ultrasonic atomization sheet and the second drive oscillation circuit.

Abstract: Golf jackets having improved collar constructions are provided. The height of the center section of the collar is longer than the height of the first and second end sections of the collar. When closed, the collar can provide an effective weather-proof seal around the neck region. In one embodiment, the jacket has a minimal amount of panels and stitched seams. The jacket has a lightweight construction, good temperature-regulating properties, high stretch/elasticity, and an outer surface that is highly waterproof. The jacket provides the golfer with a complete range of motion so that he/she is comfortable and can play the game easily. In another embodiment, the collar features an inner collar that is readily adjustable to be adjacent the golfer's neck while making a golf shot during inclement weather, such that rain is less likely to get between the golfer's neck and the inner collar and dripping down their back during a golf shot and thus disrupting their golf shot.

Identical series of equally-spaced position markers are provided on each tie in the line so that a wearer can identify a proper starting point for beginning to knot the tie. Markers are embroidered or deposited on a portion of each tie.

The strap overlap sleeve portion encloses the retractable tool to conceal the retractable tool.

Abstract: Microcapsules or macrocapsules have a core composition that includes a phase change material (PCM) encapsulated within a polymer wall with an outer shell having a siloxane tethered to an exterior surface of the polymer wall by a surfactant. The siloxane may form a crystalline or a sol-gel outer shell. Methods of making such capsules and textile fabrics and clothing incorporating such capsules include treating pre-formed capsules with a surfactant solution followed by treating with a compound containing a siloxane functional group. The surfactant connects or tethers the siloxane to the exterior surface of the polymer wall and the siloxane forms an outer shell of the capsules.

Abstract: A protective impact-absorbing headgear liner and impact sensing system for use with various types of helmets and protective gear or clothing. The lining material has unique impact absorbing properties to additionally protect a wearer from impact related injuries. The headgear liner has a band and crown which are variously shaped and positioned to received impact-absorbing pads. The position of the pockets depends on the helmet style. In one example the liner is a stretchable material. Impact absorbing pads as described herein may be used in a variety of clothing and protective gear to protect from impact injury. Examples are football shoulder ads, thigh pads, bicycle helmets and the like. The liner may also be an expanded foam. A preferred pad material is a gel containing a thermoplastic elastomer.

The retrofit sensor module further comprises an attachment mechanism secured to the housing. The attachment mechanism mates with a first hinge component of a hinge assembly in the protective head top to removably install the sensor module into the protective head top, wherein the hinge assembly allows the visor to move relative to the helmet.

The flap member may be attached to the adaptor member at its lower end by a pin. An interior portion of the flap member preferably includes male attachment points that may be selectively attachable with female attachment points found at the upper portion of the adaptor member's exterior. When the flap member is rotated, more or fewer attachment points may be selectively engaged with one another, thus allowing a user to adjust the relative position of the jaw flap.

An improved protection helmet includes a helmet shell, a chin guard, a first microphone mounted on the inside of the chin guard and facing the mouth of the wearer, a second microphone mounted on the outside, the upper side or the lower side of the chin guard and not facing the mouth of the wearer, an electronic noise reduction unit generating a difference signal between signals of the first and the second microphone, and at least one interface for outputting the difference signal. Ambient noise in the signal of the first microphone can be reduced with the signal of the second microphone.

The outsole includes a first set of arc pathways extending along the outsole in one direction. A second set of arc pathways extend along the outsole in a second direction. When the first and second arc pathways are superposed over each other, four-sided tile pieces are formed, and these tiles contain protruding traction members. In one embodiment, the tiles comprise a first protruding traction member, an opposing second protruding traction member, and a non-protruding segment disposed between the first and second traction members. Different traction zones containing different traction members are provided on the outsole. These zones provide improved multi-surface traction. In one embodiment of the outsole, there is no channeling and no trenching of the golf course turf. There is less damage to the golf course for a given amount of traction.

Abstract: The invention relates to footwear with a rubber sole and to such rubber sole where the sole is provided with a rubber composition which contains dual precipitated silica moieties. The dual precipitated silica moieties are provided in a sense of being comprised of hydrophilic precipitated silica and hydrophobic precipitated silica.

Abstract: Aspects of the invention can be directed to a boot including a sole portion, a lower portion, and a boot shaft portion. The sole portion, the lower portion and the boot shaft portion can be formed as a unitary member composed of a single compound. The wherein the single compound can include: EVA in the range of 17% to 27%, POE in the range of 6% to 16%, SEBS in the range of 10% to 20%, and rubber in the range of 19% to 29%.
