Abstract: A garment or article of clothing made of a resilient/elastomeric material includes at least a waist portion, a first leg portion, and a second leg portion. The waist portion further includes a pocket on the rear of the garment, where the pocket is defined by a backing panel, a first flap, and a second flap. The first flap is at least partially disposed over the second flap to secure contents between the backing panel and the second panel, and thus, within the pocket. When the waist portion is stretched, the tensile forces imparted onto the waist portion by the resilient/elastomeric material causes the first flap to at least partially overlie the second flap. The pocket is sized and shaped to receive smartphones and other small personal items, such as keys, money, credit cards, identifications, etc.

Abstract: An anti-wicking, scent-controlled, anti-microbial fabric is disclosed. Such anti-wicking, scent-controlled, anti-microbial fabric may be used to manufacture special occasion dresses, including wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses. Also disclosed is a method of making a garment comprising an inner layer and an outer layer, using the anti-wicking, scent-controlled, anti-microbial fabric of the present invention.

An extender assembly is coupled to the belt track and includes at least one connector and at least one spacer.

Abstract: Current watersport and surf shorts do not offer a combination of waistband fit adjustability with a double-sealed closure that minimizes irritation. They also rely almost exclusively on centerline closures, which are proximate to the area of most contact and agitation between a paddling surfer and their board. My solution is an integrated tensioning device and fit-adjustable belt with a double-sealed closure located off of the wearer's centerline.

Abstract: A patch for a hat includes a body with a multi-layer composition including a layer of woven material, an adhesive layer, and a removable backing. Embodiments of the helmet may dissipate impact energy in multiple ways including deformation of the plates, shifting of the plates, cushioning of the plates against a resilient compressible material present in the upper member, compression of air within the air compartments, movement of air within the air compartments, and/or expansion of air in non-impacted sections of the air compartments which causes the shifting of non-impacted plates. Springs with or without resilient, compressible inserts may be positioned between movable plates and a frame member. A spine including compressible material may extend along a top section of the helmet and connect plates on opposite sides of the helmet.

The facemask has an upper edge to be adjacent to a nose of a user and a lower edge to be adjacent to a chin of the user when the facemask is connected to the helmet. A first end attachment member is connected to a first end region of the facemask to attach to a faceguard. A second end attachment member is connected to a second end region of the facemask to attach to the faceguard. A series of intermediate attachment members are spaced apart from one another and connected to the facemask between the first and second end regions, with each intermediate attachment member to attach to the faceguard. A method of forming the facemask is also provided.

Abstract: A multi-positional helmet visor system in which the visor can be repositioned to a plurality of positions. Cooperating structures in the visor and helmet inhibit the unwanted changes in visor position. The helmet uses a magnetic source disposed on a boss in a sliding element of the visor, which cooperates and mates with a series of ferromagnetic elements disposed in detents along the medial front to assist in holding the visor in place. The magnetic force and boss-detent structures inhibit unwanted movement the visor. The visor may be inhibited from being lowered into the cyclist's field of view by sets of cooperating stops on the visor and helmet.

Abstract: A method to permanently mark an item of plated jewelry involves creating a laminate of two metals, and upper layer typically formed of a more precious metal such as gold, platinum, and palladium that do not readily oxidize, laminated onto the surface of a less precious metal, such as silver, which is oxidized to create a dark color (e.g. black). A laser is used to create characters and/or designs in the upper layer by vaporizing portions to effectively remove those portions. This exposes the upper surface of the less precious metal that does become oxidized. An oxidizer, such as liquid sulfur, is used to blacken the silver, typically a dark gray. This allows an easy and inexpensive method of archiving information on jewelry bearing or supporting a gem that describes the supported gem rendering the gem more valuable collectible and traceable.

Abstract: A system and method for dermal spraying includes a portable, hand-held dermal application device with disposable formulation capsules that spray a formulation unto the skin and a data transmission unit operatively connecting the dermal spray device to a mobile device. The mobile device communicates with a remote server and transmits anonymized data about the user's skin conditions and treatment history. The anonymized data may be labelled and classified by a dermatologist, and stored on a secure cloud server. The anonymized data is used to train models for serum and treatment plan recommenders.

There is also an adjustable collar, that fits around the wearer's neck, with attached cover(s) that are sized and shaped to cover the space between the wearer's neck and the head opening. The front hair bin wall may be disconnected from the rear hair bin wall near the shoulders to allow for a pivot point to adjust the hair catcher to fit various body sizes.
