Abstract: A mask includes a main body, mask cord and cord lock. The cord lock is made of an elastic material and movably attached to the mask cord for adjusting a circle contour formed by the main body, mask cord and cord lock for putting around a user's head. The cord lock includes a locking portion connected to a grip portion that internally defines a receiving space and the grip portion is divided into a deformable zone and a supporting zone. A smaller circle contour is adjustable to a larger one through deformation of the deformable zone, which allows the cord lock to move closer to the head and release some length of the mask cord that is originally received in the receiving space for expanding the circle contour. Meanwhile, the cord lock and the mask cord do not slide relative to each other and the mask maintains secure seal.

Abstract: A wearable breathing mask configured inform of an anion mask with a material such as, but not limited to cotton, nylon, polyethene, polypropylene or some other material used to produce textiles or another suitable breathable substrate. This material acts as a substrate displaying distanced anion emitters completely covering the nostril and mouth area to ensure the constant flow of anions but avoid the avoid repulsion or unflattering appearance. The frame comprises a body with construction or openings to isolate the air circulating within the mask, an adjustable head band to fit on the user's face. The anion emitters may be made by including but not limited to materials such as tourmaline, germanium, or other natural or unnatural emitting materials.

Although it is gravity-biased towards the closed configuration, the shield can be pivoted past the stop members into the open configuration. In the open configuration, the stop members withstand the aforesaid gravity-biasing and keep the shield in the open configuration. The stop members can be resiliently deformed to permit pivoting of the shield from the open configuration towards the closed configuration. The shield is formed from a flat plastic sheet, with notches that engage mating tongues to keep it in a folded configuration.

Abstract: Earmuffs with a joint are provided to create a biased pressure distribution about a perimeter of the cup. The earmuffs may include a pivot joint. The pressure distribution creates a wedging pressure (e.g., on a top edge) on the cups that hold the earmuffs on the user's head, for example, when the user rotates the headband behind the head. The bias pressure is also used to adjust the seal formed between the pad and the user's head. Adjustments to the moment created by separating the joints from the cup's apex enable a user to selectively adjust the seal according to the user's preference. A cam is added to the headband to change the hoop stress distributed at the joints and further adjust the compressive forces generated to hold the earmuffs against the user's head.

An app allows user activation of an SOS by tapping their NFC enabled communications device on the NFC enabled buckle.

Abstract: New forms of fasteners are disclosed. In some embodiments, some such fasteners include a new form of magnetic zipper or other track fastener, with two tracks of interlocking pieces moved together by magnetic force. In some embodiments, at least one of the interlocking pieces, of one of the zipper tracks, includes at least one exterior edge, interlocking with a complementary edge of another interlocking piece included in the other zipper track, when the interlocking pieces are moved into place by magnetic force. The techniques of the invention are applicable to a wide variety of applications, incorporating many different materials. For example, in some contexts, some embodiments allow rapid closing of articles, such as gym bags or sports apparel, with minimum effort, and leading to an extraordinary custom-fit to a user's preferences.

A hi-resolution digital camera in communication with a nonvolatile data storage device having a data partition capable of being made immutable is provided. The nonvolatile data storage device is compatible with a computerized device, and the hi-resolution digital camera is operated to record at least one hi-resolution digital image of at least one unique appearance characteristic of a collectable object at an image resolution of at least 300 pixel dots per inch at 1:1 image scale. The at least one hi-resolution digital image is stored in the data partition of the nonvolatile data storage device, together with additional image data.

A release member moveably disposed in the internal passageway comprises a release cam and is displaceable from a first position locking movement of the rack member in the expansion direction, to a second position wherein the release cam impinges against the housing cam element effective to urge apart the housing teeth and rack teeth sufficient to allow movement between the housing member and the rack member in the expansion direction.

Abstract: A rigid piece of luggage with a pair of removable, telescoping posts which suspend a clothing rack above the luggage. This allows the user to place wardrobe changes in an organized and ready-to-wear orientation for dance competitions, plays, or other events where the user needs quick access to clothing. This could also be used for regular travel for hanging clothes directly from the user's luggage. The telescoping pole has a base which snaps into receivers within the luggage and which then can be telescoped upward to suspend the clothing rack. A cover can seal the receiver when not in use. A button can be depressed to release the telescoping arms, or the spring element could include that functionality itself. A curtain could be used with the clothing rack for privacy on-the-go.

Furthermore, the patch can comprise a bottom surface, a top surface, and a concave edge. The bottom surface can comprise an adhesive capable of temporarily attaching to a skin. The concave edge can be on one side of the patch. Additionally, the concave edge can substantially match the anatomical curve of a human's eye socket. The pad can be a raised portion on the patch that can be capable of pushing upper natural eyelashes upward when a client closes her eyes. The pad can be attachable along the concave edge.

Abstract: A disposable salon cape assembly for inhibiting bacterial transmission between a barber and a patron includes a cape that can be worn around a patron in a salon. Moreover, the cape has a fluid impermeable coating integrated thereon to inhibit bacterial transmission between a barber and the patron. A first mating member is coupled to the cape and a tab is coupled to and extends away from the cape. A second mating member is coupled to the tab and the second mating member is matable to the first mating member close the neck opening around the patron's neck.

Abstract: A novel backpack frame and backpack are described where the frame has a common point from which a pair of upper vertical support members ascend and a pair of lower vertical support members descend. The lower vertical support members are mirror images of each other and one lower vertical support member has a twist in a first direction to form a latitudinal concavity relative to the back side of the backpack and another lower vertical support member has another twist in a second direction to form another longitudinal concavity relative to the backpack back side, where the second direction is opposite to the first direction.
