Abstract: A position measuring device includes a plurality of concave marks, a light source portion, a light receiving portion, and a concave portion measuring portion. The concave marks are formed on an external wall of an object to be a measuring target. Each of the plurality of the concave marks includes a plurality of concave portions disposed on a concentric circle with a preset concave mark central position to be a center of the concentric circle. The concave portions are provided so that densities of the concave portions become lower as distances from the concave mark central position become longer in each of the concave marks. The light source portion irradiates the object with an irradiating light. The light receiving portion receives a reflected light from the object, the refracted light being originated from the irradiating light. The concave portion measuring portion measures each three-dimensional position of the concave marks.
Abstract: A printing module for an analog printer. The printing module includes an ink supply, a printing plate and an ink applicator for disposing ink from the ink supply onto the plate. The ink contains an IR-absorbing phthalocyanine dye formulated in a solvent-based or oil-based ink vehicle. The phthalocyanine dye has sulfonate groups, wherein a counterion of each sulfonate group is a phosphonium cation. Each phosphonium cation is of formula: P+(Rm)(Rn)(Rs)(Rt); each of Rm, Rn, Rs and Rt is independently selected from the group consisting of: C1-30 alkyl, C5-12 aryl and C5-30 arylalkyl; and at least one of Rm, Rn, Rs and Rt includes more than 4 carbon atoms.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a printing apparatus and method for forming a thin film pattern using the printing apparatus which can form a multi-layered thin film pattern on a substrate.
Abstract: An ink pattern printing apparatus comprises a lower frame comprising a printing plate having at least one recess, and an upper frame comprising an ink supply device supplying ink onto the printing plate, a removing blade removing residual ink on an upper surface of the printing plate by releasing a pressurized gas through an exhaust port in the removing blade, and a transfer roller having a transfer sheet, wherein the transfer sheet receives transfer of ink from the at least one recess.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for supplying a liquid medium, such as viscous printing ink, to the distributor and transfer rollers of printing machines. The apparatus includes an arcuate shaped distributor plate, an ink feed for dispensing a controlled quantity of liquid medium onto the distributor plate, and a feed roller that is mounted for cyclic movement in a path whereby it is rolled on the distributor plate to mix and uniformly spread the medium along the plate and about the periphery of the feed roller and then is moved into contact with the machine distributor roller to transfer the liquid medium thereto in a controlled manner. In one embodiment, the feed roller is moved in a cyclic circular path so that it first engages the distributor plate and then the distributor roller, and in another embodiment is moved in a reciprocating manner back and forth on the distributor plate and then engages the distributor roller.
Abstract: High speed, on-the-fly line printer apparatus including an inked ribbon advancing mechanism, a print sheet advancing mechanism, and drive structure coupled with both the advancing mechanisms to interruptedly advance them. Also, the inked ribbon advancing mechanism may be bodily shiftable between different positions associated with different color printing modes, the drive structure accommodating such shifting. Furthermore, a drum having multiple columns of type font segments is provided.
