The tabletop may include an upper surface, a lower surface, and a hollow interior portion disposed between the upper surface and the lower surface. A lip may extend downwardly relative to the lower surface of the tabletop, and the lip including an outer surface and an inner surface. A plurality of supports may be disposed in the inner surface of the lip, and a plurality of joints may be disposed in the inner surface of the lip. A joint may be disposed between adjacent supports. A distal portion of the lip may include a compression edge. A lower portion of the supports may contact the compression edge, and/or a lower portion of the joints may contact the compression edge.

Abstract: A two-piece table includes a one-piece tabletop portion and a one piece table leg portion. The tabletop portion is made of four or more distinct independent, hinged segments which allow the tabletop fold, origami style, into a small package. The tabletop further includes four corners having various chamfered ends or corners which allows for the creation of a handle in the longer ends or corners of the tabletop. The table leg portion is a foldable, unitary structure including four legs and a top portion on which the table top rests without any attachment. The top portion of the table leg portion fits into a slot or groove on the underside of the tabletop. The table leg portion is hinged and folds into a square.

Abstract: The present invention provides a tray device in a sports action pose. The device includes a body, a tray, and a base. The body includes a front, a back, and a head. The device's sports action pose contributes to a more stable tray than conventional trays, which is beneficial when multiple objects are unevenly placed on the tray or when the tray is bumped. In additional to a food/beverage tray, the device may also include a cup holder, which is especially useful for tailgating parties. The tray can be disassembled or folded which makes it easier to transport and store the device.

Four corner assemblies are attached to each corner of the rim of the table top frame. The corner assemblies are set to bisect each corner. Each corner assembly includes a first metal clip attached to a rim of a first side of the table frame, a second metal clip attached to a rim of a second side of the table frame, and a U-shaped metal clip coupled to the first metal clip and the second metal clip. Four table legs are each attached to a corner assembly.

The at least two leveling screws are independently adjustable to allow a top surface of the insert plate to be precisely aligned with a top surface of the support table.

In one embodiment, an L-shaped desk is reconfigured by flipping the reversible work platform and rearranging the parts of the frame assembly. Abstract: An apparatus for enabling accurate retaining of a precise position, such as for reacquisition of a microscopic spot or feature having a size of 0.1 mm or less, on broad-area surfaces after non-in situ processing. The apparatus includes a sample and sample holder. The sample holder includes a base and three support posts. Two of the support posts interact with a cylindrical hole and a U-groove in the sample to establish location of one point on the sample and a line through the sample. Simultaneous contact of the third support post with the surface of the sample defines a plane through the sample. All points of the sample are therefore uniquely defined by the sample and sample holder. The position registration system of the current invention provides accuracy, as measured in x, y repeatability, of at least 140 ?m.

Abstract: A leg attachment mechanism and a method of manufacture for an article of furniture including a bracket attached to the article of furniture and an expandable post attached to the bracket. The leg includes a receptacle of sufficient dimension to receive the post. The leg is attached to the post by fitting the receptacle over the post and then expanding the post to forcefully engage the walls of the leg defining the receptacle. The post preferably includes a flexible wall that is movable outwardly by rotation of a threaded element, such as a set screw. A foam overmold is preferably formed over the edge of the article of furniture and the bracket. The overmold preferably includes an undercut boot that closely receives upper end of the leg.

Abstract: An optical workstation comprising an optical breadboard supported by a frame, the frame comprising a plurality of upstanding legs interconnected by laterally extending cross-beams, the cross-beams defining a space into which the optical breadboard is received and laterally enclosed. By laterally enclosing the optical breadboard with the cross-beam frame elements, side protection for the optical breadboard is provided, thus protecting it from lateral impacts against which conventional damping mounts are not effective. In addition, since the cross-beams are part of the frame structure, they provide a stable and rigid platform for mounting optical and other components at the very edge of the workstation outside the optical breadboard area. Anchor points in the cross-beams are provided for this purpose.

Abstract: The present disclosure defines a metal worktable comprising a tabletop and a plurality of table legs. The worktable has leg-supporting gussets to secure each of the table legs. Each gusset has a socket for receiving one of the table legs. Inside the socket of the gusset, there are stop protrusions that prevent the top surface of the table leg from directly contacting the underside of the tabletop. The worktable also has a inverted hat-shaped channel frame having a pair of side flanges that form the “brim” of the inverted hat shape. There are openings in the channel frame corresponding to the location of the table legs. At each opening in the channel frame, the corresponding leg-supporting gusset is recessed in the channel frame. The gusset contacts the side flanges of the channel frame rather than the underside of the tabletop. The channel frame is attached to the underside of the tabletop. Additionally, the corners of the tabletop are mitered to form a continuous lip.
