Abstract: A lens unit includes a display member that is in a cylindrical shape, that rotates around an optical axis of the lens unit, and that has a scale indicating a photographing distance on an outer circumference surface thereof, and a window member that is provided over the display member, that exposes part of the outer circumference surface including the scale of the display member, and that hides the other part of the outer circumference surface of the display member. The photographing distance has first and second length units. The display member is movable along the optical axis between a first position and a second position. When the display member is in the first positon, the window member exposes the first length unit. Further, when the display member is in the second position, the window member exposes the second length unit.

Abstract: A ruler assembly with multiple scales includes a ruler being an oblong plate with a top surface and a bottom surface and four lateral sides between the top surface and the bottom surface; at least two sides of the top and bottom surfaces being formed with scales; and at least one an oblong hole penetrated through the ruler; at least one side of the oblong hole being formed with scales. The scales are units of length or units of scale ratios which shows the ratio of a measured length with respect to a real length, and in that the measured length is a length of an object which is reduced from an original object with a predetermined ratio; or a side of the oblong hole is formed as a drawing with non-straight sides so as to present a pattern.

Abstract: A kit comprising a base module, a plurality of rodded oral care devices, a hanger, a support element that hangs from the hanger, and a non-electronic multi-input multi-display counter is disclosed herein. The support element for supporting each rodded oral care device of the plurality of devices. Embodiments relate to fluid loading/unloading mechanism involving elements of the base module. The non-electronic multi-input multi-display counter may be used to track different types of oral care operations, e.g. at least some of which are performed using the base module and/or a rodded oral care device. Related methods are disclosed.

Abstract: A high pressure dynamic micro differential pressure gauge, and methods for using and checking the same. The high pressure dynamic micro differential pressure gauge comprises a set of vertical manometer tubes in communication with each other, where one or more manometer tubes are connected to a resistance meter through signal lines, and the resistance meter is connected to a data collection and processing control system. Each manometer tube is full of low conductivity buffer liquid and high conductivity manometric liquid. The resistance meter is configured to measure resistances in the one or more manometer tubes, and the data collection and processing control system is configured to convert the resistances measured by the resistance meter into a differential pressure.

Abstract: A sign holder assembly includes a support member and a cover member. The support member includes a substantially planar panel and a plurality of rails. The panel extends between a first end and a second end and between a top edge and a bottom edge and has a front surface and a rear surface. The plurality of rails rearwardly extend from the rear surface of the panel and are spaced vertically from one another to define at least two reception tracks each extending between two adjacent ones of the plurality of rails. The cover member is substantially transparent and has a bottom longitudinal edge and a top longitudinal edge. The cover member is angled from the bottom longitudinal edge toward the front surface of the support member such that the sign holder assembly is configured to maintain a sign between the cover member and the front surface of the panel.

Abstract: A system for managing the fluid intake of a person is disclosed. The system consists of multiple containers of various volumes, a common lid configured to incorporate a flow control valve, multiple flow control valves having varying flow rates, a date indicator ring incorporated circumferentially on said containers, a content indicator disposed on said lid, a chiller insert, and an optional slip on handle. The user selects a container based on the fluid needs of a person and a flow control valve based on the drinking ability of the person. The user fills the container with a drinkable fluid, and indicates the nature of the contents with the content indicator and the date of filling with the date indicator ring. The chiller insert allows the user to cool the contents without the possibility of dilution as with standard ice cubes.

Abstract: A pointer gauge surface structure with an indication mark. A mark member is coupled on the surface of a pressure gauge or a micro-differential pressure gauge to display a critical value for a person to read with ease. A circumferential portion of a transparent casing is provided with a slide rail for engagement and slide of the mark member. The mark member has a C-shaped cross-section to provide a tightening function relative to the slide rail.

Abstract: A bead design allows the bead to be removably attached to a rail, allowing the bead to slide along the rail without coming off. The rail can be part of a bracket system to hang the rail in various desired locations. The beads can be made in various shapes and sizes, or with various textual indicators, to provide a user with a memory aid. A user can, for example, have a bead for each medicine dose they are required to take. A user can slide the bead to one side when the medicine is taken. Each bead can include an indicator, for example, 6 am, 2 pm, 10 pm that indicates a medicine to be taken 3 times a day. The beads can be used for other reminders and can be designed accordingly. A software application can be designed to mimic the bead and rail system.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed comprising a display device. The apparatus may also be comprised of a beverage pitcher onto which the display device can be placed. The display device can be placed in a first or a second state. In the first state the display device provides a first visual indication of a first type of beverage which is within the beverage pitcher. In the second state the display device provides a second visual indication of a second type of beverage which is within the beverage pitcher. The display device may be comprised of a sliding member for allowing or preventing a first or a second designation for a first or a second type of beverage to be displayed. The beverage pitcher in one embodiment is a coffee pot. The first type of beverage may be decaffeinated coffee and the second type of beverage may be caffeinated or regular coffee. In other embodiments, a coffee machine includes an indicator device which indicates whether coffee is decaffeinated or not.

Abstract: A preferred embodiment of the present invention is an apparatus for indicating a patron's status in a restaurant, the apparatus comprising one or more color-coded subsections on a device within the patron's reach. The present apparatus includes a movable indicator that the patron may position over a selected subsection to communicate a particular message to the waiter. A legend positioned on or near one or more of the subsections may provide a description of the message corresponding to a particular color. The status indicating apparatus may be incorporated in a device for handling the patron's check and payment, such as a portfolio or tray, or in some other structure such as the edge of the patron's table or a fixture on the table.

Abstract: A device for managing a diet or the consumption of medication comprises a board formed with a plurality of horizontal cut-out portions which define a plurality of horizontal guide rails therebetween. A plurality of slide members are removably received by the guide rails and slide thereon. A legend, attached to the front face of the board, identifies the major food groups and contains examples of foods falling within each food group and serving suggestions that constitute a single portion of the particular food group. When an individual consumes a food, a slide member from that food group is moved from the right to the left hand side of the guide rail to indicate consumption. Alternatively, the legend contains a list of medicines to be consumed by an individual, their dosages and frequency of administration. When a particular medicine is consumed, a slide member is moved from the right to left hand side of the guide rail to indicate consumption.

Abstract: A non-handed headlamp position indicator device is used to denote the proper aiming or "zero position" of a movable reflector component mounted in a stationary component of a headlamp arrangement so that a vehicle mechanic can easily return the headlamp in the moveable reflector component to the zero position. The non-handed indicator device of the present invention utilizes one component that can be used for right-hand and left-hand applications. The indicator device includes a bracket mounted on the reflector beneath an opening in the stationary housing which includes a U-shaped track portion. An arrow member is mounted on the U-shaped track portion and is slidable around the track portion. A scale, which includes a zero indicia, is provided on the stationary housing proximate to the opening.

Abstract: A gauge marker system has a flexible track that fits around the circumference of a gauge housing and carries one or more markers that extend over the face of the gauge to indicate a dial position that is to be noticed by a person using the gauge. The markers can be slid along the track to a selected position. The track is adapted to be fastened to the gauge by a cable tie that lies in a groove on the track.

Each digit indicator includes an elongated body with a set of digits 0 to 9 aligned longitudinally on the top surface thereof. A collar with a central cutout is attached to the elongated body which slides over the elongated body. The central cutout enables the user to view a digit printed on the top surfaced of the elongated body disposed directly below the collar. In another embodiment of the invention, a plurality of digit indicators are used in combination with one topic indicator which enables a user to record the page number of important topics or subjects found in the book.

Abstract: The slidable member of a control device for an automobile heating and/or air conditioning installation extends through a linear opening of a control panel, this opening being obturated by a deformable tape which is fixed at both ends in such a way as to form two terminal loops extending from either end of a central portion of the tape. This central portion is movable longitudinally along the linear opening in the panel, and has a hole through which the slidable member extends, so that when the latter is slid along the opening, the central portion of the tape is moved with it so as to expand one of the loops and contract the other.

Abstract: The invention provides an indicating device in the form of a holder for symbol elements. The device has a body portion that is attached to a c-section clamp. The c-section clamp is adapted to be springly engaged with the object to which the device is to be connected. Symbol elements are positioned along the body portion's guide track for selective alignment with a viewing aperture. This viewing aperture slides parallel to the face of the body portion so that each symbol element can be viewed individually, if so desired.

Abstract: A scheduling board providing for the orderly listing of jobs or operations scheduled and/or contracted to be performed and the progress thereof in relation to the time allotted to each for their completion, said board incorporating an elongate, relatively narrow-width slideway extending along one side edge thereof for the reception of a plurality of discrete "day-date" tabs arranged in column formation therein, and further incorporating a wider channel disposed to the side of said slideway adapted to be filled with a multiplicity of transversely extending semi-rigid strips inscribed on their face with job or operation data, the vertical height of each of said strips being a known fraction of the vertical height of the day-date tabs, said column of day-date tabs being slidable upwardly in response to upward push force applied to the lowermost or lower tabs upon each uppermost tab having been removed from the slideway, and said topmost strip(s) being manually liftable from said channel by bowing force applied f
