An upper bracket can be secured a first string having a first portion of the plurality scoring elements and a second string having a second portion of the plurality of scoring elements. The first string can have a first thread and a second thread, each of the first thread and the second thread being threaded through the first portion of the plurality of the scoring elements. The second string can have a third thread and a fourth thread, each of the third thread and fourth thread being threaded through the second portion of the plurality of the scoring elements.

Abstract: A wireless drink container can monitor a person's hydration and prompt him or her to drink more if appropriate. The drink containers as described herein can monitor liquid levels and communicate with external devices about the liquid levels and rate of consumption. One or more sensors in the drink container monitor the liquid level within the container. A processor coupled to the sensor(s) estimates how much liquid has been removed from the container from changes in the liquid level and transmits a signal representing the change in liquid level to a smartphone or other external device. It also triggers an audio or visual indicator, such as an LED, that prompts the user to drink more based on the user's estimated liquid consumption and on the user's liquid consumption goals, which may be based on the user's physiology, activity level, and location.

Abstract: The aircraft landing clearance indication system is constructed of a faceplate that is adapted to be secured against a surface in a cockpit. The faceplate includes a front surface that includes instructions as to operation of the system. A push button is mounted on the front surface of the faceplate. Depression of the push button illuminates the push button providing an instantaneous feedback as to the authorization of the respective airplane to land on a runway. Once the airplane has landed, the push button is depressed a second time in order to reset itself for future use. The aircraft landing clearance indication system is used during the landing checklist.

Abstract: A system for managing the fluid intake of a person is disclosed. The system consists of multiple containers of various volumes, a common lid configured to incorporate a flow control valve, multiple flow control valves having varying flow rates, a date indicator ring incorporated circumferentially on said containers, a content indicator disposed on said lid, a chiller insert, and an optional slip on handle. The user selects a container based on the fluid needs of a person and a flow control valve based on the drinking ability of the person. The user fills the container with a drinkable fluid, and indicates the nature of the contents with the content indicator and the date of filling with the date indicator ring. The chiller insert allows the user to cool the contents without the possibility of dilution as with standard ice cubes.

Abstract: A customizable display and method for selectively and securely displaying important information, such as a sign for use in healthcare environments. The display includes a cover and a frame assembly. The frame assembly includes a frame, which supports a plurality of tracks, and a plurality of slides positioned on the tracks. The slides receive interchangeable indicia plates, which bear the important information wherein the slides are positioned behind the cover to selectively display the interchangeable indicia plates. The frame defines a locking channel for receiving a locking system having at least one elongate locking member for cooperating with a slide coupling to secure the slides in the extended or concealed position. The slides are biased in the concealed and extended positions and the locking system is obscured by the cover to prevent unauthorized or accidental movement of the slides to alter the displayed information.

An indicia member is manually moved relative to a pointer member, in setting the indicator device to display selected indicia at a pointing area. The displayed information is locked by fixing the indicia member relative to the pointer member, using a tamper resistant locking member. A fastening device, which may be tamper resistant, is used for attaching the indicator device to an article, which may be a medical device attached to a medical patient. The indicator device may be sterilized. In a medical setting, the displayed information may include a day, a date, a usage count or a personnel identifier. In one example, the indicia member has a plurality of sliding strips, each sliding strip being mounted to the pointer member and independently movable.

When the handle is not moved up and down, a reflective surface of the signal assembly may still be visible to the bus driver, alerting the bus driver of the presence of the stop. The possession indicator element is a friction lock slider, or a pop-up indicator in a see-saw like element with friction or a detent at the axis of the see-saw. The vessel is preferably a glass having an integrally attached T cross section ring over which is moved a rider carrying a marker that points to an indicia on the glass outer surface The rider has a V shaped projection that engages with one of a plurality of notches present on the upper surface of the T cross section ring. Engagement between the rider and the V shaped projection is secured by a spring within the rider, preventing accidental displacement thereof. The user drinks water, pushes the rider upwards to clear the projection of the rider from the notch of the ring, and advances the rider according to volume of water consumed. The position of rider tracks the volume of water consumed during a 24-hour period. The rider may be removed and replaced after cleaning the drinking glass.

Slideable along the length of the groove, the protrusion, while it abuts one or the other groove end, is held temporarily in one of two distinctive positions. In view through an elongated portion of the groove not occupied by the protrusion is only one of two distal ends of the elongated base—provided the protrusion abuts a groove end—and the distal end's distinctive indicator marking. By sliding one protrusion to the opposing groove end after each use, a patient can easily record his pill consumption.

Abstract: A mail box indicator for noting the arrival of mail. The indicator includes a sliding member that has a latch for connection to the door of the mail box. The latch slides through the use of a resilient cord such as bungee and the cord and latch are contained within an enclosed compartment to avoid exposure to the elements. The latch of the sliding member is connected to the latch of the mail box door when the apparatus is set for use. Opening of the mail box will break this connection and cause the sliding member to travel upward and so indicate that mail has arrived.

The enclosed upper end of the bellows member may be moved downward for indicating a vacuum status of the bottle when the bottle is vacuumed by the pump device.

Another support sheet and plate with itemized shopping list may be attached to the other side of the backing and several backings can be retained in a hand-held binder or booklet. A visual indicator, such as a bright color patch is located adjacent to each visually discernable item on the list. A cover tab for covering the color patches are included and are movable between a covering position in which the color patch is covered and an uncovering position in which the visual indicator is uncovered thereby drawing the user's attention to that particular item on the list.

The timer apparatus includes a lowermost portion indexed consistent with the hours of the day and a pointer selectively manipulatable within an overlying integrally formed track for indication of a subsequent feeding timing event. The track includes a channel capturing a leaf spring. The leaf spring is secured to and cooperates with the pointer which is of a generally "H" shaped cross-sectional configuration. A first pair of legs of the "H" shaped pointer is ridable within the channel and frictionally securable within the channel in cooperation with the leaf spring. A further pair of legs of the "H" shaped pointer are oriented exteriorly of the channel for indication of a subsequent feeding event in cooperation with the indicator band.

A source of illumination is positioned with respect to the opaque slide plate so as to emit light through the apertures not covered by the plate.

Structure is included for releasably holding the piece of material in place within the cut-out section of the card. A marking device is disposed on the piece of material to enable writing on or otherwise marking an object. At least one side edge of the card is substantially straight to provide a straight edge for marking.
