    Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for securing the free end of a roll of fibrous web material to the body of the roll while the roll is uninterruptedly conveyed through the apparatus. The apparatus is particularly useful for securing the free end of fibrous web material which has a pattern-disposition of blockable bonding material disposed in the web for bonding fibers together.
