Abstract: An assembly and method for conditioning a pet to utilize a toilet when making waste. A primary tray is provided. The primary tray has a first depression, wherein a primary opening is formed in the depression. A plurality of inserts are provided. The inserts progress in size. Each of the inserts defines a central opening that is proportional to the size of the insert. The primary tray is placed on the toilet. The primary opening within the primary tray is covered by the inserts. Litter is added into the depression of the primary tray to entice the pet to utilize the primary tray as a litter box. Over a period of time, the pet will become accustomed to jumping onto the primary tray to make waste. The inserts are removed one at a time. This slowly uncovers the primary opening over a period of time as a pet is conditioned.

Abstract: A cat litter box has an open top enclosure provided with a bottom and sidewalls extending upward to form the enclosure. A lid with a central aperture configured to permit ingress and egress of a cat is provided to rest on the open top enclosure. The surface of the lid from the central aperture toward the perimeter is provided with a plurality of apertures to form a grated surface on the lid.

Abstract: This invention is for a method for making and using cat litter from conventional toilet paper and using the cat litter in a toilet bowl mounted cat litter box. The cat litter box has an opening and closing door activated by a handle for discharging soiled cat litter directly into the toilet bowl for disposal. The handle also blocks the toilet from closing when the cat litter box is attached to the toilet bowl.

Abstract: An invention engaged in a program or system to toilet-train a house pet in two or three stages after which said pet will routinely relieve itself into the toilet bowl. The initial embodiment may be in an outdoor venue, as in the case of a dog. The second stage may commence in the bathroom, on the floor, where the owner will continue the training program. Ultimately, the preferred embodiment will be resting atop the toilet seat or the toilet bowl rim where the trainee will deposit its excreta directly, without hesitation or ceremony.

Abstract: A pet waste station with pet training features is disclosed. The waste station may include a turf surface and a urine collection funnel for channeling urine into disposable absorbing pads. The pads may be placed in a drawer beneath the funnel, allowing easy removal and replacement of the drawer. Odor control may include a compartment for deodorizers or other air fresheners. A sensor may be provided to activate one or more positive reinforcement rewards when the pet successfully urinates in the waste station, including dispensing of an edible treat and/or playing of an audio snippet, such as an owner's voice praising the pet.

Abstract: A feces and urine disposal device for cats includes a support structure having parallel, vertically extending wall members, a bottom chamber, and an elevated relief area between the opposing wall members and above the bottom chamber. The relief area includes a pair of longitudinal channels disposed in spaced, parallel relation to one another and an open longitudinal gap between the channels and communicating with the bottom chamber. In use, a cat stands in the relief area with the left paws in one channel and the right paws in the opposite channel so that the cat is straddling the gap. When the cat relieves itself, feces and urine pass through the gap and into a removable trough positioned in the bottom chamber or directly into a toilet bowl. Cat litter or another odor absorbing or containing substance can be placed in the trough, as well as the relief area.

Abstract: A cat toilet device includes a bottom part, a seat and a top part. The seat has a lip extending inward therefrom so as to support the top part. The top part has multiple apertures and a side hole is defined through a side of the top part. The cat is trained to use the cat toilet device to save the need of the cat litter. A slot is defined in the top face of the seat and a cup is engaged with the slot so as to receive tools for clearing the cat toilet.

Abstract: An animal potty chair, particularly for a dog or cat, is to be used indoor and/or outdoor to aid civilization of domestic animals and to improve quality of life for millions of families with animals. The animal potty chair comprising: (1) a defined space with a surrounding wall-like structure with a one-way entry and one-way exit mean for an animal to release waste to a designated area without leakage to the outside of the top part of the potty chair; (2) a downwards operable mesh surface of the potty chair for an animal to stand on safely and to release waste within a protective space; (3) a fitting-sealing-fixing adaptor between the potty chair and a toilet, which is to fix the potty chair onto the toilet and to prevent leakage of the animal waste; (4) an easy cleaning container for holding animal waste, and (5) a signal system comprising a trigger mean to open the mesh and to flush the toilet by an animal with its body weight. The method on how to use the animal potty chair is also presented.

Abstract: A system and method of customizing a flush toilet to help train an animal to utilize the toilet when making waste. A primary tray is provided. The primary tray is placed over the toilet. An opening is formed in the primary tray. If a pet in training becomes tentative, the opening is reduced in size or eliminated by the use of a supplemental tray. The supplemental tray is sized to cover only the part of the primary tray that holds litter. With the litter removed, the supplemental tray is placed atop or under the primary tray. If no opening is desired, no opening is formed. If a smaller opening is desired, an opening of the appropriate size is made in the supplemental tray. The supplemental tray is then filled with litter and is used to train an animal as if it were part of the primary tray.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a cat litter system which preferably holds cat litter for use by a cat, and thereafter facilitates disposal of the material. In certain embodiments, the system can be arranged on a toilet and left in place for use by the cat when needed, or alternately, the system can be placed elsewhere before and during use by the cat, and can then be placed over a toilet seat or other receptacle for the disposal step. Certain embodiments preferably provide a base with a substantially flat upper surface with an open central area filled with a cup arrangement. Cat litter material is preferably placed in the cup arrangement for use. Once the cat has used the cat litter material, the system preferably allows the cup arrangement to be opened, allowing the used litter material to fall through into a disposal receptacle, for example a toilet bowl.

The ladder may be detachably connected to the lower frame structure, and the ladder may be detachably connected to a front of the lower frame structure. The ladder may be detachably connected to a side of the lower frame structure, and the top of the base plate may include a non-slip surface. The base plate may include a central aperture to define a handle, and the base plate may include a fastener to hold an absorbent sheet. The height of the ladder may be adjustable.

Abstract: The flush toilet is suitable for use by dogs of various physical sizes. The toilet has two high side wall portions to collect the urine ejected by a male dog. A restraint frame is provided for retaining the dog on a leash in the toilet. The position of the restraint frame is adjustable to accommodate a dog of any size such that the excrement will drop in or close to the drain opening of the toilet. A grid pattern is formed on the inner surface of the high side wall to facilitate the male dog from urinating, and a baffle wall is provided at the front edge of the high side walls to avoid the urine from a male dog from splashing outside of the toilet.

Abstract: A cat litter box includes a tray on which the litter is deposited with the tray being inset within a base having inwardly converging bottom walls defining a sump for the collection of liquid waste. A valve is carried by the bottom walls and has a control rod extending outwardly through a base skirt to receive a handle. The litter is of a nonabsorbent type having a smooth exterior surface to facilitate cleaning. The base supports the tray both for cleaning when in place on the rim of a toilet bowl and when on a floor surface.

Abstract: A combined portable animal waste and training device whereby a pet's owner, by means of the device's training structure, can induce, teach and train the pet to eliminate its urine and feces upon the device's animal waste structure being operatively emplaced relative to a toilet bowl of a standard toilet having a toilet tank and followed by the sequential operation of the animal waste structure in depositing the urine and feces eliminated by the pet and disposed in the toilet bowl, followed by cleansing action and then followed with the flushing of the toilet tank to flush down such urine and feces in the toilet bowl.

Abstract: A toilet training device for pets consists of a pet seat having a plurality of legs extending downwardly from the underside. A separable container is slideably mounted to the underside of the pet seat, so that when the pet seat is placed onto a flat surface, the separable container can be put into a closed position to catch the feces and urine from the pet. When the pet seat is placed onto the rim of a regular toilet bowl, the separable container can be put into an opened position to allow the feces and urine from the pet to enter the toilet bowl.

Abstract: A portable animal waste device for use in conjunction with a standard household commode is described. A support structure, mounting a pivoting platform and emplaced over a toilet bowl, is connected to the toilet's flush mechanism. The platform pivots between a lowered position for animal access upon the platform and a raised position following animal exit from the platform. The platform in its raised position forms a washdown enclosure with the support structure. When the platform is in its raised position, the washdown enclosure is washed down and the waste is disposed of by a flushing action. A sensing and electronic control system is provided to activate flushing action only when the animal has exited the platform for a predetermined period of time.
