Abstract: A washable, collapsible pet bed comprising a cylindrical main body, front collar, and back end piece. The front collar is embedded with a flexible ring, which provides support to the collar and overall shape to the pet bed, while being flexible to allow the pet bed to placed in a household washing machine. The pet bed is also collapsible to allow for easy transport and storage.

Abstract: An animal bed includes a plurality of elongate frame members, a plurality of corner fittings coupling the plurality of elongate frame members to form a frame, bedding supported by the frame, and at least one support supporting the frame above an underlying substrate. Each of at least first and second corner fittings among the plurality of corner fittings has a passage formed therethrough that receives therein a corresponding one of the elongate frame members.

Abstract: A pet pocket bed/pad comprising of a hollow flexible shell, top wall, bottom wall, surrounding walls which interconnect the top and bottom wall, fill material is disposed inside, to create a pet bed/pad. Additional compartment is added underneath comprising of three side walls, bottom wall, interconnecting the bottom wall of the upper pet bed, to create a pocket compartment, which is equal or greater, with an opening on one end or side, to allow a solid planar flat surface to be inserted inside, working in combination with the bed/pad, secured with closure to keep the flat surface inside the pocket, which prevents bunching up. Padded inserts comprising of a top and bottom wall, surrounding walls interconnected, will create a pillow of similar size and perimeter, to be inserted inside the interior underneath pocket of the bed/pad, to customize the plushness for additional comfort.

Abstract: A portable pet bed apparatus is provided that can be selectively side mountable to a bed assembly. The pet bed apparatus includes a carrier device that defines a bedding space thereof sized and dimensioned to accommodate a domestic pet therein. The pet bed apparatus further includes a mounting assembly having a horizontal portion and a vertical portion that lies closely adjacent to the bed assembly, and a connector assembly on the side of the carrier device for detachably connecting the carrier device to the vertical portion of the mounting assembly. The carrier device can be removed from the mounting assembly, which enables independent functionality as a pet carrier.

There is a third sheet having the same width as the first and second sheets but shorter in height than the first and second sheets, and a fleece sheet having the same width as the first, second and third sheets, shorter in height than the first and second sheets and longer in height than the third sheet. The fleece sheet is attached to and covers all of one face of the third sheet and a small part of the opposing face of the third sheet. The third sheet and fleece sheet overly and are attached to the top surface of the second sheet along three edges of the third sheet and fleece sheet, but are unattached and so left open along the fourth edge, to define a pocket that is lined with fleece along its entire top.

Abstract: A pet training apparatus and waste receptacle that allows a pet to simulate urinating outdoors in an indoors environment. A base frame supports a grated cover on which a permeable sheet is positioned. As a pet urinates, the urine is passes through the permeable sheet and through a plurality of openings in the grated cover. The urine is then collected in a receptacle positioned below the base frame. The permeable sheet includes a plurality of synthetic fibers in order to give the appearance of natural grass. An enclosure can be attached to the base frame, such that the together the enclosure and base frame form a pet crate in which the pet can urinate. A bed can also be placed on the permeable sheet in order to differentiate a sanitary area for the pet to rest. A splash guard prevents urine from leaving the confines of the grated cover.

Abstract: Described herein are animal or pet accessories, such as animal beds, puppy pads, and pet toys, which are designed to prevent complications associated with consuming linear foreign bodies, and which are produced using materials which are semi- to fully digestible. Also provided is a stitching method for such accessories, in which stitching is carried out in increments safe for consumption by an animal, and using a stitching material which is semi- to fully digestible.

Abstract: A durable pet having a flat polyurethane foam core, a first polyurethane layer bonded to the top surface of the core, and a second polyurethane layer bonded to the sides of the core, and a method for making such a bed. The first polyurethane layer has a thickness of about 0.05 to 0.25 inches and a hardness of about 20 to 70 durometers. The second polyurethane layer has a thickness of about 0.05 to 0.3 inches and a hardness of about 50 to 100 durometers. The pet bed may have a third polyurethane layer bonded to the bottom of the core, the third layer having a thickness of about 0.05 to 0.25 inches and a hardness of about 20 to 100 durometers. The first, second and third layers typically completely encase the core.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure include a multilayer pet bed cover for protecting a pet bed. The pet bed cover may include a shell having an outer layer and an inner layer permanently attached to the outer layer and an opening in the shell configured to allow a bedding material to be inserted into the shell. The inner layer may have a first surface that faces the outer layer, the first surface being laminated with a polyurethane laminate. The first surface of the inner layer may be breathable and may prevent moisture from entering an interior area defined by the shell. In embodiments, a second surface of the inner layer may face the inner area of the shell and may also be laminated.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for inhibiting shoreline erosion by introducing pre-established, self-sustaining, shoreline-tolerant vegetation. The vegetation, which can be sea grass, is allowed under controlled conditions to sprout and take root, or otherwise become fixed, to a biodegradable mat, which can be constructed from brown coir or from some other coir variety. When the vegetation is sufficiently matured to be self-sustaining, the mat is transferred to the shoreline, where in some embodiments it is draped over a naturally occurring or a man-made sand dune. Fertilizer and/or soil can be included with the mat. Bird roosting stakes can be planted with the mat to encourage birds to roost and provide natural fertilization. As the vegetation takes root in the underlying sand, the biodegradable mat slowly degrades and is absorbed non-destructively into the environment, leaving behind firmly established vegetation that provides self-sustaining erosion control without human maintenance.

Abstract: An aspect of the present invention relates to a method and system of providing a bed using a plurality of interchangeable adjustable firmness springs to provide localized comfort and support to the user of the bed. The plurality of interchangeable springs may have a plurality of different firmnesses to provide customizable local comfort to a user. The foam springs are color coded based on the firmness associated with the foam spring. The foam springs have markings and/or health devices attached to an end of the foam spring.

Abstract: A support beam for a pet furniture includes a plurality of back plates, first hooks, second hooks and third hooks. Upper end and lower end of the back plate are formed with an insertion slot and a protrusion respectively. One side of the back plate is formed with a plurality of engaging troughs for allowing the first hooks and the third hooks to be disposed therein. The third hook is engaged with the first hook. By this structure, a shelf plate, a cat house and a cat ladder can be mounted onto the back plate by means of the engagement between the second hook and the third hook. Then, the back plate is fixed to a wall. In this way, the support beam for a pet furniture is obtained.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are representative embodiments of modular beds and environments. For example, in one example embodiment disclosed herein the pet bed comprises a bed frame having a central area surrounded by one or more side walls, a pillow sized to fit within the central area of the bed frame, and a blanket affixed to the pillow in a manner that allows at least a majority of the edges of the blanket to be free of the pillow. The denning bed may also be comprised of a single component bed wherein the pillow and blanket top are attached (not removable) from the bed frame. Also disclosed herein are embodiments of modular beds in which the bed frame comprises two or more cushioned components that can be removed from a fabric bed frame cover.

Abstract: Disclosed are synthetic structured mattresses for bird coop bedding. There is a slab/nesting pad made of a porous plastic foam. In one form the foam is suitable to permit liquid to readily drain through it when the slab is washed. An array of tufts are configured to encourage scratching thereof if a bird is placed thereby. In some forms an upper support surface of the slab may be formed with a depression or cutout suitable to position a laid egg at a defined place. The depression may be formed by molding, or by a two layer structure.

Abstract: A pet bed adapted for use atop a floor mounted air register includes a bed structure and a base structure. The bed structure is an open-topped housing with a pet accessible entrance along a front side to facilitate a pet entering and lying within the bed structure. The base structure is a durable support extending downwardly from a floor surface of the bed structure. The pet bed is placed over the floor-mounted air register in order to allow a portion of air expelled from the air register to enter the open interior area of the bed structure through a plurality of ventilating apertures in the floor to provide temperature regulation to a pet within the bed while allowing the remaining flow of air to exit the pet bed through additional apertures along a front surface of the base structure in order to provide temperature regulation to the surrounding space.

The pet bed has a cover with multiple pockets, each of which holds one or more of the pillows while allowing the pillows to be removed from and replaced into the respective pocket which permits selective washing of individual segments of the cushion. The bed is formed of a cover having a plurality of pairs of radially and upwardly extending bolster cushion pillow receiving pockets that each receive a bolster cushion and a center cushion pocket locking the bolster cushion pillows in their respective pockets when a center cushion pillow is received in the center cushion pocket and a covering flap of the cover closed.

Formed along the perimeter edge of the first planar surface is a continuous raised lip. The mat may be rectangular, square, triangular, circular, oval or oblong. The mat is also sufficiently flexible so it may be rolled into a compact cylindrical tube for compact storage.

The carrier frame is sturdy, cannot be bent out of shape and yet still remains very flexible. The pet liner comprises a tube with a baffle/rib that is inserted into each tube spaced at intervals throughout the structure. This gives it air pockets between the baffle/ribs. These tubes with baffle/ribs cover the bottom, back, and opposite sides with an open front. This frame sits inside a box, crate, carrier, cage, or trailer. It is covered with a durable material. It too has a back, bottom and opposite sides with an open front. It is also easily cleaned.

Abstract: The vehicular dog bed and integrated restraining system includes a dog bed uniquely able to secure atop of a center console, and in between the front seats of the vehicle. The dog bed includes straps that encircle the console in order to secure the dog bed thereon. A pet harness system attaches to the rear of the dog bed, and includes a strap with a hook for securing a dog atop of the dog bed. The pet harness system may also include looped straps that secure the pet harness system to the front seats of the vehicle.

The bed includes a strip of belting having a front end, a back end, and opposing sides, an animal bed having a first fluid chamber and a second fluid chamber. The first fluid chamber is provided within the strip of belting and includes a first width extending between a first side and a second side of the first fluid chamber. The second fluid chamber is provided within the strip of belting and includes a second width extending between a first side and a second side of the second fluid chamber. Abstract: An enhanced animal mattress with burrowing feature includes a cradling member, a cushion cover, and a cushion base. The cushion base is positioned within the cushion cover where the cushion cover includes a top layer, a bottom layer, and a side panel. The cradling member is positioned above the cushion cover and the cushion base and can be connected to either the top layer or cushion cover and the cushion base. Depending on the connection between the cradling member and the cushion cover, the cushion base may or may not be removed from the cushion cover. The cradling member can include many different shapes and patterns as the enhanced animal mattress with burrowing feature differentiates between different embodiments.

Abstract: A thermodynamic pet cooling station that uses conductive properties to transfer cold temperatures from a cooling element contained within an insulated base to the surface of a platform tile, creating an efficiently cooled area where an animal my rest when he/she is subjected to dangerously hot weather. The pet cooling station is thermodynamically cooled using three integral components: a molded insulated base, structural platform tiles made from a conductive metal comprised of a planar surface with temperature-transfer cases affixed to their underside, and cooling pods, that can be pre-frozen and are reusable, containing a non-toxic liquid that is housed in either a similar conductive metal or a durable membrane that will hold its shape and efficiently transfer the frozen temperature to the temperature-transfer cases allowing thermodynamics to follow the specific pathway of interconnected metal and move the cold temperature up and across the structural platform planar surface in an efficient manner.

The accessories can be engaged to the extension bayonet via one or more accessory mounting brackets. A deflecting assembly can be positioned between the raptor perch assembly and the accessory to prevent debris dropped from the raptor perch assembly from lodging on the accessory. The deflecting assembly can be engaged to the extension bayonet and/or to the raptor perch assembly.

Abstract: A pet cover attached to an item of top bedding for a human and having access for a pet to enter under the pet cover. The pet cover may be permanently or releasably attached to the bed covering. The pet cover may be multi-layered fabric, including a water resistant fabric and/or fabrics impregnated with antibacterial, antimicrobial, pesticidal, or various other special purpose additives. Various shapes, attachments, and configurations are illustrated. The invention may be provided as a first kit with a bed covering for a human and multiple interchangeable pet covers. The invention may be provided as a second kit with user-installable fasteners for a legacy bed covering and one or more pet covers.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a collapsible or foldable structure suitable for a variety of applications, such as animal bed, animal shelter or animal carrier. The structure in its collapsed state forms an animal bed and when fully erect forms an animal shelter or carrier. The structure comprises a first layer and a second layer that are fused together by a seam or a crease. When in the collapsed stated, the second layer forms the base of the pet bed and the first layer is collapsed against the second layer to form a pet bed. The first layer is comprised of flexible or semi-flexible material that can be lifted upward and separated from the second layer to form the roof and sides of an animal shelter or carrier when fully erect. The first layer may include seams or creases for ease of conversion and structural stability. The first and second layers may be formed from semi-flexible foam covered with fabric.

Abstract: A raptor perch apparatus for use at the top of a power pole for raptors to perch and nest without contacting the power lines supported by the power pole. In a preferred embodiment, the apparatus comprises a hub bracket having a center member received over the top of the power pole and a plurality of socket-like lateral brackets extending outwardly from the center member to support a plurality of lateral support members extending outwardly from the pole, preferably at a slight upward angle. The proximal end of the lateral support members is received in the lateral brackets. A guy wire or the like is received through a ring member on an end cap at the distal end of each lateral support member to circumvent the distal ends thereof. If needed, a pole top extension can be used to raise the apparatus above the top of the power pole.

The blanket is secured on all sides of the pet bed between the bottom pillow-like base and all of its surrounding walls. The blanket is sewn into the seam between the base the side walls of the bed or, in another more preferred embodiment, the blanket is secured to the bed by separable means for binding separate pieces of fabric together such as buttons, hook and loop fabric, snaps, or the like. In another embodiment, a plurality of petals are disposed about the circumference of the pet bed to provide a substantially “flower” like design to the pet bed.

Abstract: A sheet disposed in a chair underside and attachable to the legs of the chair is disclosed. The sheet is configured for forming a downward droop from the weight of a pet and is designed to provide a comfortable resting place for a household cat and other pets as well as provide storage for various household items. The sheet may be attached to the chair by straps connected to and protruding from the perimeter of the sheet. Stiffening bars may be used to reinforce the sides of the sheet. Flaps attached to the sheet perimeter and attachable to the seat may be used to provide a dark and concealed environment for the pet to rest.

The table comprises a concealable cat bed supported of the ground by leg and a concealable scratching surface. The decorative appearance of the table encourages placement within the living area of the home and in close proximity to regularly used pieces of furniture. The cat bed atop the furniture provides a comfortable place for the cat to rest and receive affection form a family member occupying an adjacent sofa, chair, or similar piece of furniture.
