The arrow rest that has an arrow support arm that lifts the arrow, from a first, relaxed, position to a second, actuated, position when the archer draws the bowstring. Upon release of the bowstring, the arrow support arm drops, with vertical, non-rotational and non-pivotal movement, in a straight line, to return to its relaxed state. Actuation and release of the arrow support arm is accomplished by an attachment to the bowstring, such as a cord, and by a biasing means. The arrow rest includes various adjustment means that allow lateral and/or horizontal positioning of the arrow in relation to the bow handle.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2004Date of Patent: December 25, 2007Assignee: Bear Archery, Inc.Inventor: Christopher A. Patent number: 7275528Abstract: A FIXED IN-LINE ARROW HOLDER consisting of a horizontal section 1, a corner section 2, a vertical section 3, a cross member section 4 and multiple arrow attachment points 6. When assembled and attached to an archery bow 11, the FIXED IN-LINE ARROW HOLDER provides a means for accepting and temporarily holding an second archery arrow 9 in close proximity to and in-line with another archery arrow 10 already loaded into shooting position on said archery bow 11. Having a second archery arrow 9 held in this position, will allow the second archery arrow 9 to be loaded into the shooting position with less motion and time than if the second archery arrow 9 was located further away.Type: GrantFiled: March 21, 2006Date of Patent: October 2, 2007Inventor: David John Daigler

Publication number: 20070221186Abstract: A drop-away arrow rest including an arrow support that rotates in a vertical plane about a horizontal axis parallel to of a supported arrow. The rest can include a bias member and a connector joined with an upward moving bowstring portion and/or a downward moving bowstring portion. The bias member urges the support to a support position and/or a rest position. Movement of a bowstring portion correspondingly moves the connector so that the connector moves the support about an axis that is substantially parallel to a supported arrow, thereby moving the support to at least one of a support position and a rest position. Optionally, an indicator indicates when the support is in the support position. Further optionally, the connector can be secured to a connector device defining an aperture and joined with a bowstring portion.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2007Publication date: September 27, 2007Applicant: G5 OUTDOORS, L.L.C.Inventors: Louis Grace, Nathaniel E. Patent number: 7219662Abstract: A drop rest assembly, for an archery bow that allows for resting of arrow which is to be fired by the archery bow. The drop rest assembly includes a mounting section adapted to mount to the archery bow. The drop rest assembly includes a drop rest section mounted to the mounting section. The drop rest section includes a drop rest mount which mounts to the mounting section. The drop rest section includes an arrow rest rotatably mounted to the drop rest mount, where the arrow rest mechanically biased away from an arrow resting position. The drop rest assembly includes a tension string connected to the arrow rest for rotating the arrow rest to the arrow resting position, such that release of the tension string allows the arrow rest to move away from the arrow resting position due to the arrow rest being mechanically biased away from the arrow resting position.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2005Date of Patent: May 22, 2007Inventor: Donald J. Patent number: 7165543Abstract: An arrow rest mountable to an archery bow for supporting an archery arrow with respect to the archery bow. The arrow rest includes a sensor that senses a first movement of the archery arrow with respect to the archery bow and/or a second movement of the archery bow, and transmits a signal upon sensing the first movement and/or the second movement. A signal processor in communication with the sensor receives the signal and moves the arrow rest in response to the received signal.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 2004Date of Patent: January 23, 2007Assignee: New Archery Products Corp.Inventors: Miroslav A.
