Abstract: An air exchange device includes: an air-guiding tube having a first end and a second end opposite to each other, with the first end having a first inlet and a first outlet, and with the second end having a second inlet and a second outlet; a partition arranged inside the air-guiding tube to divide the inside of the air-guiding tube into a first air-guiding space communicating with the first and second inlets and a second air-guiding space communicating with the first and second outlets; a first filter arranged in a position adjacent to the first inlet; a second filter arranged in a position adjacent to the second inlet; and at least one fan adapted to draw and expel air and combined with the air-guiding tube. Bores of meshes of the first filter are larger than bores of meshes of the second filter.

Abstract: The disclosure discloses an electronic cigarette. The electronic cigarette comprises an atomizer and a battery rod. A connecting means for connecting the atomizer to the battery rod is formed at a junction between the atomizer and the battery rod. The connecting means comprises a first connecting means and a second connecting means. An engaging part is provided around the edge of a local outer surface of the first connecting means, and a cross section of the engaging part is polygon-shaped. The second connecting means is provided with an access groove, and a stopping part is defined on an end of the access groove. One end of the first connecting means is inserted into the access groove of the second connecting means, and then the end of the first connecting means is rotated so that the engaging part is engaged with the stopping part while assembling.

Abstract: A combined cigarette cutter and container includes a cigarette cutter illustratively engaged to an upper inside surface of a lid of a container which holds preferably a single cigarette (or cigar). The user may partially smoke it, cut off the used portion using the cutter, insert the unused portion in the container, and close the lid. This provides a convenient carrying mechanism to permit later consumption of the cigarette or cigar. In other embodiments, the case has curved major surfaces with a fixedly-fastened cutter adjacent to one of the end walls. The cutter can be omitted to provide a case.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a rigid housing having a plurality of sides removably engaged with the electronic device and a plurality of passageways for effectively channeling air through first and second directions. The apparatus further includes at least one rotary fan moving in a selected radial path situated along one of the sides, a disposable electrostatic filter bifurcating the passageways wherein the contaminants are trapped and a power supply source electrically coupled to the fans.

Abstract: A cigar holder with a cutter comprising a hollow cigar-shaped body having a closed bottom and an open top, a hollow cap threadably engageable with the top of the body, the cap having a pair of substantially opposing slots therethrough, and a pair of cigar tip cutting members, each cigar tip cutting member having a cutting portion having a cutting edge thereon. Each of the cigar cutting members is slidably positioned in one of the slots such that the cutting edges are positioned substantially opposite one another in the hollow cap. A handle portion is preferably hinged to the cutting portion of each of the cigar tip cutting members, with each handle portion being positioned outside of the cap. The handle portions are preferably provided with a gripping tip for facilitating manual movement of the cigar tip cutting member in relation to the cap. The cap preferably has a pair of recesses formed in an outer wall thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cigar holder provided with a detachable tip-cutting knife and a plug-removing member inside a cap of the holder. The knife has an inwardly extending portion and exterior portion hinged together and secured within a slot formed in the cap. The exterior portion lies flat in the recess formed in the cap, while the interior portion extends perpendicularly to the exterior portion, transversely to the cap opening. The plug-removing member is fixedly attached to the interior of the cap. It is adapted to pierce through the end of the cigar and remove a small portion of the cigar thereby forming a distinct channel for penetration of the tobacco smoke to the end of the cigar.

Abstract: An improved combination portable ash receptacle and saver for cigars with an area for a cigar cutter, 20, and matches, 16, all in a hinged, two part case* consisting of a top, 2, and a bottom, 4, that shut tightly together via a built-in latch. The top portion of the latch, 6, located on the top of the case, catches firmly on the corresponding bottom part of the latch, 8, located directly beneath on the bottom half of the case. The hinge, 30, is located on the opposite side of the latch and is durable in order to accommodate frequent use. The interior of the case is divided into 6 compartments via two ribs in each half, one rib running the length of the case on the top, 24, and 34 on the bottom, and another rib dissects it perpendicularly in each half, 10 on the bottom and 26 on the top. This creates three compartments in the top portion, or lid, and three more in the bottom.

Abstract: A planar elongate cigarette snipping device for removing the burnt end of a partially-smoked cigarette to expose fresh tobacco for relighting the cigarette, includes a pair of planar knife blades which are moved from a rest position to an operative position in which they overlap in an aperture through the device, activated by a corresponding pair of arms which are normally biased to the rest position.

Abstract: An apparatus for extinguishing a lighted cigarette comprises a hollow external seat and a storing container. A blade for cutting and extinguishing the burning portion of a lighted cigarette in combination with an L-shaped plate are provided within a seat. Both the plates are made from shape memory alloys having different temperature reaction gradients. When the burning portion of a cigarette is placed into the seat and comes into contact with the blade, the plate will restore to its memory shape by the temperature response in cutting off the lighted portion of the cigarette and extinguishing the lighted portion by pressing it on the L-shaped plate. The L-shaped plate stretches straight to let the cigarette ash drop into the storing container. When the temperature of the L-shaped plate is decreased, the plate recovers to its original position to cover the storing container. The cigarette ash is thus restricted within the storing container to prevent it from dispersing and causing pollution.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for rapidly extinguishing a lighted cigar and for saving the extinguished cigar for later consumption. The device comprises a hollow cylindrical tube having a closed end portion and an open end opposed to said closed end portion and a removable cap sized to fit within the open end of the tube for forming a substantially air tight container so as to promote rapid extinguishment of the lighted cigar. The cap in a preferred embodiment has a bore configured to receive and reshape an unlit, wetted tip of the extinguished cigar and a pin having a pointed end for punching a hole in the unlit cigar tip. The device further includes an adjustable snuffer for accommodating cigars of different lengths.

Abstract: A lighter provided with a cigarette extinguisher which is capable of cutting and extinguishing a burning head of a cigarette safely. The cigarette extinguisher comprises an upper cut element, a torsion spring, a tongue, a lower cut element and a pivot pin. The pivot pin pivotally connects the upper cut element and the lower cut element to facilitate the relative pivotal movement of the upper cut element and the lower cut element, the relative pivotal movement affects the cutting-off of a cigarette head which is inserted into the space between the upper cut element and the lower cut element.

Abstract: A portable air purifying ash tray is depicted which in one embodiment comprises a housing having first and second internal compartments and first and second covers respectively for selectively covering said first and second compartments. The first internal compartment is for receiving the ashes from a smoker item such as a cigarette and can include a snuffer mounted therein for extinguishing the smoking item. A fan and battery power supply is mounted in the second compartment for exhausting the smoke from the first compartment through a filter mounted between the compartments. Opening of the first cover operates a control circuit which in turn energizes the fan.

Abstract: A cigarette extinguishing and cigar cutting device mounted in the center of an ashtray which comprises a static base having a tapered top, a depressible stamper resiliently held above said base. Cigarettes may be snuffed out between the base and the depressed stamper. The cigar cutting portion of the device is constituted by a horizontal hole cut through a section of the base intercepted by a vertical slot in which travels a blade fastened to the stamper.
