Abstract: A detangling brush has a top brush head and a bottom brush head connected with a hinge. The top brush head includes a top perimeter frame having a first plurality of inwardly extending fingers which are laterally spaced from each other, and further have a plurality of top bristles which project downwardly from at least some of the first plurality of inwardly extending fingers. At least one ring is mounted on the top brush. The bottom brush head has a bottom perimeter frame which includes a second plurality of inwardly extending fingers which are laterally spaced from each other, and further have a plurality of bottom bristles which project upwardly from at least some of the second plurality of inwardly extending fingers of the bottom brush head.

Abstract: A comb and a thermal protective glove are provided herein. In one embodiment, the comb includes: (1) a base having a top side and a bottom side, (2) a longitudinal row of teeth on the top side of the base and (3) an attacher having a coupling end connected to the bottom side of the base.

Abstract: A hair implement, such as a comb, brush, or pick, is disclosed that includes a handle section containing a rotational bearing within an annular opening in the handle section. When the hair implement is not in use, it may be held on a user's finger and rotate out of the way without the need for the user to disengage his or her finger from the hair implement.

Abstract: A comb has a function for preventing slippage occurring when the comb is gripped, and allowing a user to remove a liquid adhered to the fingertips promptly. Further, the comb can be deformed flexibly. The comb has a concave-convex surface formed in a back face part of a comb main body, and the holes are formed in concave parts of the concave-convex surface. Curving surfaces are formed in side face parts on both sides of the comb main body, and through-holes communicating with the holes are formed in concave parts of the curving surface. When the user applies his/her fingers onto the back face part, the concave-convex surface and the holes function as a slippage preventing part. When applying the fingers onto the side face parts, the curving surface and the through-holes function as the slippage preventing part.

Abstract: A hair implement, such as a comb, brush, or pick, is disclosed that includes a handle section containing a ring insert within an annular opening in the handle section. When the hair implement is not in use, it may be held on a user's finger and rotate out of the way without the need for the user to disengage his or her finger from the hair implement, such as when using other hair implements.

Abstract: This invention is a cylindrical device placed on your finger or thumb and contains a 3 piece apparatus that can be detached coming out of the cylinder wither vertically at the apex, or on the sides. There is a pick sticking directly upwards from the finger and a mini comb and a brush between 90 to 180 degrees on each end of the pick (alternative manufacturing methods). The pick is pushed into the center of the braid and will break the braid apart. The comb or brush is used to straighten the hair as the pick breaks the braid apart. The entire process, while usually performed with two hands, can be accomplished with one hand thus making the device easier, less tiring and less expensive than alternative devices currently on the market.

Abstract: A hair pick comprising an elongated base member made from a material which is both flexible and resilient. A plurality of teeth project from an upper side of the base member. Finger engagement means is provided on the lower side of the base member, approximately midway between the base member's ends. Transversely oriented finger gripping means are provided on each of the base ends, having portions extending above and below the base member. With the base member in an unflexed state, the axes of the teeth are substantially parallel. When the hair pick is gripped, forces may be applied through the combination of the finger engagement means and the finger gripping means to flex the base member causing the teeth to be reoriented either into a converging closed position or a diverging open position.

Abstract: A hair brush with a body having bristles extending therefrom for brushing hair and a tubular handle connected to the body which handle has a bore disposed normal to its longitudinal axis adjacent to its distal end along with a blind aperture extending from its distal end into the handle, generally along its longitudinal axis; plus a hair pick with a circular opening therein which pick is configured to snugly fit into the blind aperture and so that its opening will register with the bore in the handle. As a result the brush can be conveniently supported on a hook or like device utilizing the bore in the handle while the pick is inserted, and the pick can be easily removed when the brush is in use.

Abstract: A combination comb, brush, and teaser apparatus includes a first teeth holder which extends along a longitudinal axis. A plurality of first teeth project out from the first teeth holder in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. A first handle portion is connected to the first teeth holder along the longitudinal axis, and a plurality of second teeth project out from the first handle portion in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis. The first handle portion includes a concave top side and a concave bottom side. Each of the first teeth tapers down from a teeth holder end to a free end. The free end is rounded. The first teeth are arranged in first teeth rows which are registrable with one another and second teeth rows which are registrable with one another, and wherein teeth in the first teeth rows are staggered with respect to teeth in the second teeth rows. There are two of the first teeth rows and two of the second teeth rows.

Abstract: A braid-removing tool. The inventive tool comprises an elongate body portion having a longitudinal axis, a first end and a second end and being adapted for retention by a human hand. An elongate tooth is mounted at the first end of the body portion along an axis which is aparallel with respect to the longitudinal axis. In a specific embodiment, the inventive tool further comprises a hook mounted at the second end of the body portion. A finger grip is molded into a first side of the body portion and left and right thumb grooves are molded into a second side of the body portion. The tool allows a user to rapidly and safely remove braids with a simple turn of the wrist.

Abstract: A fine-tooth comb for treating pediculosis and in particular, for removing lice and lice eggs includes a removable piece and an elongated piece. The removable piece has a plurality of metallic teeth. The removable piece can be detachably mounted in a head of the elongated piece. A handle adjacent to the head can be gripped by a patient such that he or she can easily comb their hair in order to remove lice and lice eggs.

Abstract: A hair separating comb in which a plurality of major parallel teeth are provided so as to form a series of parallel major grooves in which hair strands by comb action engage and additionally where a longitudinally movable separation shaft moves between and a rest and an operable position to trap and separate hair strands within such grooves from those in other positions within the comb.

Abstract: A hairdresser's comb includes, in its handle portion, an elongated aperture converging from a wide end to a narrow end. One sidewall of the aperture includes a lengthwise blade. The opposite sidewall has a serrated surface. A bottle tip inserted into the wide end of the aperture is pushed or rolled against the blade to sever the tip.

Abstract: A hair coloring applicator formed as a unitary, monolithic structure having an applicator portion, an intermediate portion and a pick portion is provided. The applicator portion is provided with a spoon for scooping hair coloring materials and a rounded head for spreading the material into the hair. One side of the applicator portion is provided with a serrated edge with ridges for lightly scratching the hair shaft to enable even distribution of the hair coloring materials. The other side of the applicator portion is thicker and provides a comb having a plurality of teeth which aid in spreading the materials and detangling the hair. The intermediate portion connects to one end of the applicator portion and includes a handle and guard portions on both sides of the handle. The pick portion extends in a tapered manner from one end of the intermediate portion and provides a mechanism for the user to section and weave hair during a hair coloring procedure.

Abstract: A comb adapted for attaching to a support member, such as the bracket of a motor car inside rear-view mirror, is provided with an integral handle having an extending end terminating in a resilient clamp arrangement which enables the comb to be conveniently attached to, and removed from, a support member which is dimensioned to receive the clip jaws.
