Abstract: An eyelash shaping implement includes: a curved main body; a tool engagement element; and a set of shaping elements arranged along a surface of the curved main body. An eyelash curler insert includes: a body; and multiple shaping elements protruding from the body. An eyelash shaper tool includes: a movable section; a fixed section; and a shaping implement having: a body coupled to the movable section; and at least one shaping element protruding from the body. Shaping elements include spherical protuberances, undulating linear protuberances, and tapered surfaces.
Abstract: A device for removing lice and nits from affected hair and scalp of an individual, has first and second movable blades, the first blade including a plurality of first saw teeth, the second blade including a plurality of second saw teeth, and means for movably retaining the first and second blades parallel and adjacent to one another with their respective first and second teeth in opposition and parallel planes along their respective longitudinal axes, whereby the blades can be selectively moved toward one another to cause their teeth to mesh together with hairs captively held therebetween, the first and second teeth being configured to thereafter provide via combing a scraping action against the entrapped hairs for removing lice and nits therefrom.

Abstract: A telescoping comb for lice removal is provided for removing head lice and nits from a person's hair. The comb has a telescoping handle with serrated teeth and a pivoting handle. Resilient springs are utilized for holding the pivoting handle in an open position and holding a head portion of the telescoping handle in a closed position in the resting state. Pressure applied to the pivoting handle actuates the head portion to an open position, and upon subsequent release thereof, the head portion is spring biased back to the closed position. When the invention is used on one's hair, the teeth of the comb separate any lice from the hair where they can be safely removed.
Abstract: A method and comb device for detection and removal of human head lice, and eventual elimination of the lice infestation, from infested individuals by sequential combing, with no use of pesticides. The comb device has six sides, three of the sides of the comb having sets of differently sized and spaced teeth so that hair can be detangled, first with the thick, widely spaced teeth on side (1), and then with the standard comb teeth on side (2), and then the thin, closely spaced teeth of the lice removal side (3) can be used to comb out lice. The method also be used to inspect for lice, with the capability of detecting lice at an earlier stage in an infestation than possible with the current, traditional inspection method (visual searching for nits or lice eggs.
Abstract: A comb for removing lice and nits from the hair is formed by a base and a plurality of teeth extending from the base in substantially the same direction. The longitudinal axis of each tooth is parallel to the longitudinal axis of each other tooth. Each tooth has a polygonal cross sectional shape such as in the form of a modified triangle. The cross sectional dimensions of each tooth enlarge from the free end of each tooth toward the base so that the spacing between adjacent teeth narrows toward the base. The facing edges of adjacent teeth interact with each other to capture lice and nits therebetween. A rib is provided longitudinally along one of the faces of each tooth.
Abstract: Natural or synthetic hair is attached to a semi-spherical stretchable net-like fabric body to the circumferential end of which is attached a flat, flexible and stretchable serpentine comb. Upon attachment to the circumferential edge, the comb assumes a circular configuration wherein the tines extend radially and the comb lies substantially flat in the plane of the circumferential edge of the body.
