    Abstract: A hair roller assembly includes a cover made of a soft elastomer material having an inner wall formed with an inner space, and a sponge unit mounted in the inner space of the cover. The cover has a determined length with different sizes. The sponge unit includes a first sponge, a second sponge and a third sponge having different shapes, diameters and density, so that the soft cover mounted on the sponge unit presents different shapes and sizes, and the user's hair curled around the cover also presents different shapes and styles, thereby enhancing variation of the styles of the user's hair.

    Abstract: In accordance with the present invention a hair roller 10 is provided including a cylindrical foam rubber insert 20 having a longitudinally extending hole 22 extending throughout the length 24 of the foam rubber member. Rows of plastic tips 30 are provided around the circumference of the foam robber member extending along the length 24 of the foam rubber member. The tips are located at an angle with the horizontal a in FIG. 1 around the circumference. The foam rubber member 20 with the rows of plastic tips 30 in place is placed in a cap 40 made of heat conductive material such as aluminum or aluminum alloy having a body portion 41 and an opening 42 at one side 44 to receive the foam rubber member with the roles of plastic tips having suffecient resiliency to receive the foam rubber member with the roles of plastic tips and maintain them in place.

The gel is capable of being heated in a microwave oven to a hair curling temperature and capable of maintaining such temperature for a time sufficient for hair curling to take place. The gel contains a biocide so that it can be permanently sealed in the curler.
