More particularly, the invention relates to a trimming guide that would enable a person by him or herself, with or without training or particular skill, or through the use of a robot or a computer or a numerical device to trim his or her own hair, or another person's hair to a quality, finished state which is a predetermined design, style or shape.

Abstract: A head covering is disclosed for shielding the hair and head of an individual comprises a hood defining a front edge, a first side edge, a second side edge and a rear edge for engaging over the hair and the head of the individual. A rear panel is coupled to the rear edge of the hood. A pouch is defined within the rear panel for receiving the hair of the individual. A first tether is coupled to the first side edge of the hood. A second tether is coupled to the second side edge of the hood.

Abstract: Implementations of a hair cap are provided. In some implementations, a hair cap may be used to protect the hair of a wearer while they sleep and/or shower. In some implementations, a hair cap comprises a head portion, a pocket portion, and an opening. In some implementations, there may be an elastic band located about the periphery of the opening. In this way, the material about the opening of the head portion may be pulled against a wearer's scalp to potentially prevent water or other liquids from entering the interior of the hair cap. In some implementations, a fastener may be provided on the head portion and another fastener on the pocket portion of a hair cap. In this way the distal end of the pocket portion may be attached to the head portion thereby holding a wearer's hair off of their shoulders and back. In some implementations, silk may be used to manufacture the hair cap. In this way, the wearer's hair is protected from breakage.

Abstract: A hat includes a first and second overlapping panel in the rear of the body and an elastic band. The overlapping panels each comprise an arcuate edge. When overlapped, the arcuate edges define an aperture. An elastic band attaches to the arcuate edges and transitions from the first arcuate edge to the second arcuate edge in a looping manner. When a wearer pulls her hair through the aperture, the aperture increases in size. Once the wearer's hair is pulled through the aperture, the aperture decreases in size and provides a secure fit around the wearer's hair. The elastic loop supports the long hair upwards in a manner that prevents the hat from riding up or the hair from falling onto a rear brim.

Abstract: A headwrap provides fastening mechanisms for covering, protecting, and retaining the hair of a wearer. A fabric panel forming the headwrap may be defined by a head covering, a crown circumscribing the head covering, and a tail extending rearwardly from the crown and having an internal volume able to contain and cover the hair of the wearer. Left and right straps affixed to a base of the tail enable a wearer to tension the straps about the crown to tighten the head covering over the head, tying the straps off at the front of the crown. A loop affixed to a terminus of the tail enables a user to draw the tail forward and hang the loop off a button affixed about the crown on the forehead.

Abstract: A constricting hair cap includes an elongated, generally cone-shaped body having a crown section, a middle section and an open bottom end. An elastomeric band is positioned along the bottom end, and a plurality of drawstrings extend upward from the bottom end through an aperture located on the crown section. Each of the drawstrings are positioned within a channel that is located inside the main body and are connected to a cord stop that is positioned adjacent to the aperture along the outside of the main body. Each of the drawstrings are positioned evenly along the main body and function to transition the main body between an extended position and a constricted position upon receiving a pulling force.

Each temple arm of an eyeglass is inserted through a different loop, with the slide lock tightened to securely connect the loop to the temple arm of the eyeglasses and connects each temple arm the bill of the hat, at a location below the bill. The elastic loops encircling the temple arms to maintain the eyeglasses at a desired location on the cap and accommodate differing eyeglasses.

The cap includes a crown that is formed from a single sheet or single piece of stretchable fabric, such as using heat pressing techniques. The cap further includes a support layer, such as made from buckram, which is attached to an interior, front portion of the crown, and a visor and a band which are attached to the crown. The crown has a hemispherical shape. In one example, the crown can include a back portion thereof which has been removed to form an open area across which an adjuster is attached. In another example, a front portion of the single-panel crown can be removed and replaced with a front panel made of a different material to form a modified crown.

The head covering article includes an edge portion configured to rest on a wearer's forehead and a pad configured to cover a portion of the wearer's forehead. The dissolvable thread may be used to either secure hair extension wefts to a wearer's hair or in conjunction with a hair weft constructed of the same dissolvable material comprising the thread.

Abstract: Presented is a hair restraint which is placed on a user's ponytail to assist in keeping the ponytail tangle free during sleep. The device includes a drawstring, a drawstring lock, and may be utilized with a headband which gathers the hair and holds it into a ponytail while the device is attached. The ponytail can be formed in the back of the users head or more towards the top of the user's head to provide less of an obstruction while the user is sleeping.

An attaching member has an elastic attaching band to be worn on a head or discovered from the head and an auxiliary band, which connects the attaching band to the hairnet. Both ends of the attaching band are folded to form a loop and a tube is inserted to the folded portion. According to the wig of the present invention, inconvenience can be reduced because the wig can be kept on a head while an attaching band adheres around a head. The wig is very convenient to wear or discover because it can be easily kept on the head with the attaching band pulled. Also the wig can be prevented from getting loose because the front side of the wig adheres around the head when hair next to the loop is inserted into the loop and the end portion of the loop is pulled after the wig is worn.

Abstract: A chignon maker utilizing a cylindrical sleeve open at both ends. A captive rubber band surrounds one end to elasticize it. In use, the wearer pulls the cylindrical sleeve over her pony-tail so as to completely enclose the pony-tail with the elasticized end positioned at the base of her pony-tail. The wearer then twists the sleeve along with the enclosed pony-tail in an action similar to the action of wringing a towel. Subsequently, the wearer wraps the twisted sleeve in a spiral fashion around the base of her pony-tail thereby forming a chignon. The chignon is secured in place by tucking the non-elasticized end of the sleeve into the base of the pony-tail.
