The inner case is equipped with a hinge part to allow opening and closing of the inner cover, the hinge part fitting into a cutout section on the peripheral wall of the outer case so as to expose the hinge and thus allow wide angle opening of the inner case cover.

The base member has in its top surface an elongated recess spaced from the remaining portion of the top surface which communicates with the second adjacent opening. A hinge secures the rear edges of the cover and base members together. The front slot receives the front extension and the second adjacent opening meets the first adjacent opening to form a combined larger opening when the two members are closed, thereby closing the compact.

Abstract: This invention provides an airtight cosmetic container, which comprises a cover, a base, and a hollow gasket positioned on the cover or the base. As the cover is moved into the closed position, the gasket deforms to a point where the gasket sealingly engages the cover and the base. The gasket surrounds a volatile solvent-containing product, and because the gasket deforms between the cover and the base, a seal is obtained which substantially prevents the loss of the volatile solvent from the product when the container is closed.

Each of the caps is adapted to be worn upon the head of the user, furthermore each of the plastic caps is stacked one upon the other and positioned within the plastic cap receiving area of the container. A number of cotton strips are also included in the kit. Each cotton strip is of substantially similar dimensions and is adapted to encircle the scalp of a user.

Abstract: A makeup case comprising a base (1) and a closure cover (3), articulated (2) on an edge of the base (1) includes a closure (5) disposed opposite the articulation (2). The base (1) comprises a recess (8) in which is articulated, about an axle (9) parallel to the axis of articulation (2) of the cover (3) on the base (1) but spaced from the latter, one end of at least one connecting plate (11) whose other end is articulated (12) in a second base (13). The second base (13) is so disposed as to snap below the first base (1) and hide the connecting plate (11) between the two bases (1, 13).
