  • Patent number: 9689176
Abstract: An anchoring device. The anchoring device provides a clip assembly having a top member and a clip member, wherein the top member and the clip member are removably attachable to one another to form a clasp therebetween. The clip member includes a latch and a pair of protruding members sized to removably engage corresponding apertures disposed on the top member. The latch is pressure sensitive and enables removal of the clip member from the top member when secured thereto. The clip member includes a stake receiving portion having a receptacle and an opening sized to slidably receive a stake therein. The top member includes a ribbed area for receiving a corresponding ribbed member pivotally attached to the clip member, wherein the ribbed area and ribbed member form the clasp. The ribbed member includes a tab for vertically flexing the ribbed member to clasp the clip assembly onto an object.

  • Patent number: 9593507
Abstract: An easily deployable freestanding tent for individuals of all ages that is adjustable to accommodate use on varying terrain gradients. At least two collapsible arc-shaped frame members being connected support the tent, the frame assembly being connected with at least two movably securable devices that allow a user to adjust the apex of said frame members to provide a vertically upright configuration on sloping terrain. The frame assembly being constructed of lightweight high-strength materials and intended for use in recreation, commercial, and emergency use applications. Beneficially, users deploy this embodiment first by connecting the pole sections to form the frame members, then securing the top of said frame's apex by manipulating an intersection knot to a vertical configuration effectively setting the adjustable frame upright on even or uneven terrain, and further tensioning a main cord and adjusting a fabric cover as necessary to provide a durable substantially enclosed shelter.

  • Patent number: 9586117
Abstract: A ball rebounding device has high tension netting that is efficiently assembled, pulled taught and held in place within a frame using a tension rod system and a manufacturing process that uses levers between the frame and tension rods within the frame. The invention can be used in producing new ball rebounder and in retrofitting existing rebounder frames. The frame provides a perimeter support and an interior space. Tension rods are run through the cells of the netting and positioned in the interior space. A lever system is connected between the tension rods and the frame to pull the tension rods toward the corresponding sides of the frame, thereby drawing the net taught within the frame. Once the netting is pulled taught, fasteners hold the tension rods in place next to the sides of the frame. The frame can be rigid or may have flexibility and act like a spring.

Abstract: A portable hunting blind having a fabric panel supported and retained by a blind frame, which together bound a concealed space is provided. The blind frame includes two spaced apart horizontal members and a supporting framework for holding the two spaced apart horizontal members parallel to each other and above a supporting surface by a predetermined height, wherein all components of the blind frame are assembled by slidably mating. The fabric panel is dimensioned and adapted to be supported by an exterior of the two spaced apart horizontal members and the supporting framework so as to bound the concealed space. The fabric panel provides a plurality of strap fasteners for removably securing to the components of the blind frame by simply wrapping around them, thereby making the portable hunting blind light weight and to easily assemble without additional parts or tools.
