Abstract: A method for weaving a carpet including tying a row of knots with a yarn and weaving two or more weft strands next to the row of knots, where the weft strands are 100% cotton and the yarn is wool yarn hand-carded and hand-spun into a single strand is described.
Abstract: A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel including an active device array substrate, an opposite substrate and a liquid crystal layer is provided. The active device array substrate includes a substrate, a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of data lines, and a plurality of pixel units. The scan lines, the data lines and the pixel units are disposed on the substrate. Each of the pixel units is electrically connected to one of the scan lines and one of the data lines correspondingly and crosses over two sides of the corresponding scan line. The opposite substrate includes a plurality of alignment protrusions. The alignment protrusions are located over the scan lines. Besides, the liquid crystal layer is disposed between the opposite substrate and the active device array substrate. The above-mentioned liquid crystal display panel has higher aperture ratio.
Abstract: The invention relates to a weaving machine for weaving pile fabrics, and a set (100) of at least two spacers (1-4, 11, 12, 21, 22, 31, 32, 41 and 42), wherein the spacers (1-4, 11, 12, 21, 22, 31, 32, 41 and 42) are provided and arranged in the weaving machine in such a manner that the pile warp yarns (18, 18?) have more space during their movement in the shed-forming zone towards the fabric line in the warp direction at their entry point in the array of lancets, so that they are hindered to a lesser degree by this array of lancets.
Abstract: A weaving machine weaves pile fabrics having weft yarns, backing warp yarns, and pile warp yarns. One or several spacers extend between the pile warp yarns either to realize a constant pile height between two pile fabrics formed, or to determine the pile loop height in one or several pile fabrics comprising pile loops. One or several holders clamp the spacers. One or several shed forming devices, drive heddles through which backing and/or pile warp yarns extend to position these warp yarns with respect to the weft yarns. A zone for supplying pile warp yarns extends between a yam supply and the heddles. One or several holders installed between the yarn supply and the one or several shed forming devices clamp the spacers. The holders are installed outside the said supply zone, in such a manner that the pile warp yarns will extend into the supply zone without any hindrance.
