Pattern Patents (Class 142/43)
  • Patent number: 11441318
Abstract: A modular staircase frame is lightweight, adjustable, and may be brought to a worksite in pieces to be assembled. The modular staircase frame includes two opposing sets of laterally spaced blades, which may be adjustably connected to form laterally spaced ascending frame members. The opposing sets of blades may include a first pair of blades and a final pair of blades to anchor the frame to a first and second surface, respectively. The blades have openings for adjustable attachment of adjacent blades. The frame may also include stiffeners for added structural support. The opposing sets of laterally spaced blades may further include one or more corner blades for changing the direction of the staircase. Once the frame is installed, treads (temporary or final) can be removably installed on the frame to create a staircase.

  • Patent number: 6145554
Abstract: An automatic lathe is provided including a table stand having a top with a plurality of legs coupled thereto and extending downwardly therefrom. A pair of spindle spinning assemblies are positioned on the top of the table stand. Each spindle spinning assembly has a securement rod rotatably mounted thereon which is adapted to releasably secure to an end of a spindle for spinning the same. A carriage assembly is adapted to slide between each spindle spinning assembly. The carriage assembly has a blade mechanism mounted thereon for engaging a front surface of the spindle secured between the spindle assemblies. The carriage assembly further includes a carriage motor functioning to move the carriage in a forward direction upon the receipt of a forward signal and move the carriage in a reverse direction upon the receipt of a reverse signal only when the carriage motor is actuated.

  • Patent number: 5065801
Abstract: A duplicating device for use on a wood lathe includes a baseplate for mounting behind a lathe on a table carrying the lathe, a mirror pivot ally mounted on the baseplate, and a template carrier on the baseplate between the mirror and the lathe. A template, e.g. a finished spindle is mounted on the carrier, and a blank is mounted in the lathe. By visually aligning the blank and template on a line perpendicular to the mirror, the blank can be turned to reproduce the template design accurately.

  • Patent number: 4281569
Abstract: A lathe comprising a rotor assembly which may be manually rotated and which has a peripheral portion around which moist pottery clay may be packed. A first cutting member can be mounted on a tool support for the lathe and used to cut grooves into the clay generally to the depth at which the surface of the object will be formed, whereupon a second cutting member with a continuous edge can be mounted on the tool support and used to cut away the clay ridges and shape the finished surface on the object. The object is then allowed to dry, which releases it from the rotor assembly.
