Abstract: A method for making a vehicle seat trim component including a step of providing a first foam component that includes a first foam layer and a flexible component. The flexible component is sewn to the first foam layer and defining cutout sections and end sections. A second foam component is attached to the first foam component to form a compound foam structure. The second foam component includes a second foam layer and an exterior layer. A pattern is sewn into the compound foam structure avoiding the end sections.

Abstract: A piece of fabric has a first side with a first visual characteristic and a second side with a second visual characteristic. A fold is formed in the piece of fabric to create a bedding component with a primary face having a folded-over minor section and a non-folded-over major section. The major section has the first visual characteristic. The minor section has the second visual characteristic. The bedding component has a secondary face having the second visual characteristic. Stitching holds the piece of fabric with the folded-over minor section being essentially coplanar with the non-folded-over major section thereby exposing the primary face when in a primary orientation and the secondary face when in a secondary orientation.

Abstract: A covering system includes a tarp made of an elastic membrane and a plurality of tarp fastening hooks. The fastening hooks allow the elastic membrane to be stretched over valuables and affixed to environmental anchors so that creases and puddle-enabling pockets in the membrane are eliminated. The fastening hooks clamp onto the elastic membrane and hook onto the environmental anchors to cause tension in the membrane. The clamping forces of the tarp fasteners are inherently increased in proportion to the tension in the clamped membrane.

Abstract: An apparatus for enveloping an object that is susceptible to infestation by insects, such as bed bugs, includes a pre-sized object encasement device equipped with selectively engaged sealing devices to prevent insects from infesting the object. The apparatus further employs a plurality of barriers to augment the selectively engaged sealing device to prevent insects that have already infested the object from exiting the object through any potential openings in the selectively engageable sealing device.

Abstract: A furniture cover assembly comprising side portions interconnected to define an interior area, wherein at least one side portion has an edge portion adjacent to an access opening to the interior area. The edge portion has a belt tunnel with opposing first and second open ends. An adjustment member is adjacent to the first open end, and a belt is slideably disposed in the belt tunnel. The belt has first and second free end portions projecting from and exterior of the belt tunnel. The belt's first free end portion is adjustably connected to the adjustment member and forms a first adjustable loop exterior of the belt tunnel and is configured to connect to a support structure of a furniture unit when positioned in the interior area. The belt's second free end portion forms a second loop exterior of the belt tunnel adjacent to the second open end and is configured to connect to a second support structure of the furniture unit with the belt tunnel extending between the first and second support structures.

Abstract: A head cover for a golf club includes a first surface having a removable cleaning pad thereon, and a second surface on which at least one golf accessory constructed of a ferrous metal is removably attached thereto. The second surface is part of a tri-layer construction with magnets forming the second middle layer so as to so retain the golf accessory thereon. The cleaning pad is removed by the golfer from the first surface and includes a scrubbing area to remove grit and/or debris from one of a golf ball and a golf club face.

Abstract: A tablecloth retainer includes an elastic band having at least a primary thickness, a width, and a predesigned boundary, wherein the elastic band is stretched around the perimeter edge of a table top to retain a tablecloth, the predesigned boundary being smaller than a range of table top perimeters accommodating the band by virtue of elasticity of the band.

Abstract: A multiple-chair cover having a front side, a back side a right edge and a left edge with an open interior area positioned therebetween. At least one divider is positioned within the open interior which separates the open interior into separate compartments. At least one pad is positioned within the open interior. This provides a multiple-chair cover which prevents chairs from rattling against one another while in transit while also maintaining the alignment and position of multiple chairs.

Abstract: A sanitary shield for preventing direct contact of a user with an exterior surface of an elongated handle includes a flexible sheet having each of a predetermined width, a predetermined length and a predetermined thickness. The flexible sheet is formed from a flexible plastic material. A first row of interposed tabs and notches is formed in a first side edge of the flexible sheet and a second row of interposed tabs and notches is formed in a second side edge of the flexible sheet, whereby each tab in one row is aligned with a notch in an opposed row. The respectively aligned tabs and notched are interlocked with each other for firmly securing the flexible sheet onto the elongated handle, whereby the interlocking tabs and notches along with the first and second side edge lie within confines of the predetermined thickness of the flexible sheet. The sanitary cover may be also provided as a tubular member.

Abstract: An ironing board cover assembly has a cover sized and shaped to fit an ironing board. The cover folds into a compact arrangement for storage and unfolds into a expanded arrangement to secure to the ironing board. A pouch attached to the cover, receives the cover when the cover in the compact arrangement. When installed on the ironing board, the pouch receives ironing accessories.

The steps include providing a primary panel having a plurality of sides, providing a rail panel having a plurality of side panels and a plurality of pleats, such that the plurality of side panels are separated by the plurality of pleats, folding the plurality of pleats against the plurality of side panels such that the plurality of side panels meet at a plurality of joints, connecting the primary panel to the rail panel such that the plurality of side panels are connected to one another at a plurality of top joints, and stitching the side panels from the plurality of top joints to a portion of the side panel forming an inner seam.

Abstract: The invention is a protective cover for an object stored outdoors. The cover is weather-proof, and a photographic image of plants, vegetation, ground cover or foliage is applied to the outer surface of the cover, whereby the appearance of the outer surface of the cover is designed to emulate the exterior appearance of outdoor plants, vegetation, ground cover and foliage, thereby serving to camouflage objects which are being protected by the cover. A low reflectivity texture is imparted to the outer surface of the cover.

Abstract: Disclosed is a ceiling fan cover for protecting a ceiling fan while the ceiling fan is not in use. The invention comprises a cover, preferably of a semi-waterproof, vinyl material, that encloses an indoor or outdoor ceiling fan. The invention also includes an attachment means, preferably a zipper, to close the cover around the ceiling fan's blades and a drawstring to tighten up the cover around the top of the fan. The invention could have an additional drawstring to cinch the middle. An alternative embodiment would be made of a plastic, disposable material, for use by painters to protect ceiling fans. When the cover is in place, it prevents ceiling fan blades from spinning in the wind or swinging up and breaking off, and also protects the fan from dust and debris.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a moving device in the form of a bag having an aperture allowing furniture to be placed therein, a closure for the aperture (such as a “hook and loop” fastener, buttons, a zipper, or other suitable device), and at least one tensioning strap to tighten the bag around the furniture. The bag can be made of a flexible and/or waterproof material, and can include additional padding. In some embodiments, the bag can be shaped as a prism, but can also take other shapes. The tensioning strap(s) can extend partially or entirely around the bag, and can be fastened using a hook and loop fastener, bucket or other suitable device. In some embodiments, at least one longitudinal tensioning strap and at least one lateral tensioning strap are provided. The bag can also include one or more handles, one or more transparent viewing windows, and a document pouch.

Abstract: An airline chair cover system includes an airline chair that includes a seat portion and a backrest attached to and extending upwardly from the seat portion. A flexible panel is removably positioned on top of the chair to cover the seat portion and the backrest. The panel includes an upper edge, a lower edge and a pair of lateral edges. A peripheral wall is attached to and is coextensive with each of the upper edge, the lower edge and the pair of lateral edges. The peripheral wall has a perimeter edge positioned distal to the panel. The peripheral wall is removably positioned on a top edge of the backrest, a front edge of the portion and lateral sides of the backrest and the seat portion. The panel covers an upper surface of the backrest and the seat portion.

Abstract: A dressing table skirt has a tabletop portion that is sized to fit over a dressing table and a drape portion covering the sides and legs of the dressing table. The drape portion is attached to the perimeter of the tabletop portion. The tabletop portion of the skirt may have one or more anti-skid pieces that come in contact with the dressing table. A continuous slit is provided in the tabletop portion and drape portion of the dressing table skirt. The slit includes a keyhole shape on the tabletop portion that is bulbous and forms into a narrow channel. One or more fasteners may hold the slit or expanded slit together. The drape portion may also have one or more fasteners found at the bottom edge positioned to couple the drape portion to the dressing table.

An adhesive strip with a removable sticker is secured to a bottom of the central portion. The removable sticker is peeled away from the adhesive strip to fix the adhesive strip to the high chair. A plurality of apertures is conformed to receive a pair of legs of a child and a pair of slits is adapted to accommodate a seat belt of a highchair. The housing is positioned in the highchair thereby defining a central portion conformed to a seating surface of the highchair and the panels are folded partially outward from the highchair.

Abstract: In one exemplary embodiment, an apparatus for covering a piece of furniture generally includes a base, a spool rotatably supported by the base, and a cover coupled to the spool. The apparatus may also include an attachment device for removably attaching a portion of the cover to the furniture piece for helping retain the cover's position relative to the furniture piece. The spool may be rotatable in a first rotational direction relative to the spool mount for winding the cover onto the spool. The spool may also be rotatable in a second rotational direction opposite that of the first rotational direction for unwinding the cover from the spool, to thereby allow the unwound cover to be placed generally over the furniture piece.

Abstract: Wheeled covers for patio furniture are described. The patio furniture covers include wheels attached to the covers that are positioned to secure to and support at least two locations on the covered patio furniture. When the patio furniture covers are used to cover the patio furniture, the covered patio furniture may then be easily wheeled using the cover wheels to move the covered patio furniture from one location to another. Thus, the patio furniture itself need not have wheels, and no modification of the patio furniture is required. The wheels of the patio furniture covers may be secured to the patio furniture to ensure stability of the wheeled configuration. The covers may include a self-contained or self-attached storage bag or pouch in which the patio furniture cover may be stored when not in use.

Abstract: A simple, convenient, contaminant-resistant padding system for adding protective padding to a wide variety of hospital operating room and non-hospital related equipment is disclosed. The padding system includes an anchor having a first surface configured to be affixed to a mounting surface of an object to be protected and a second surface. The anchor also includes a protruding element formed on the second surface. The protruding element extends outward from the second surface. The system also includes a pad having a deformable recess configured to form-fit over the protruding element to hold the pad in place adjacent the mounting surface of the object to be protected. In various embodiments, the protruding element consists of one of the following shapes: hook-shaped, round, ball, oval, square, or rectangular. The deformable recess in the pad has a complementary shape. In various other embodiments, the pads can be shaped to fit over and protect one or multiple sides of an object to be protected.

Abstract: A process is provided for printing a graphic image onto a cue sports cloth to form a cloth layout including a bed cloth and cushion cloths. The process comprises supplying the desired dimensions of the bed cloth and cushion cloths to a digital computer, accessing a digital image, and scaling and dividing the digital image to enable the image to be printed onto a cloth, with part of the image on the bed cloth and part of the image on at least one of the cushion cloths. The image is then printed onto the cloth using a digital printing apparatus and suitable inks to create a piece of printed cloth having on it a series of image portions making up the bed cloth and the cushions. When separated and fitted to the cue sports table, the bed cloth and cushion cloths co-ordinate to create a printed image having a portion of the said image on the bed cloth and a co-ordinating portion of the image on at least one cushion cloth.

Abstract: An artificial Christmas tree and storage cover a trunk and progressively larger branches from the top to near the base of the tree. The tree trunk rests in a central bore of a frustoconical base and has at least three swivel castor wheels mounted on the lower wall, providing movable support for the tree assembly. At least one castor wheel has a foot-operated brake. A conical cover covers the standing, decorated tree and attaches to the base. The cover has flaps spaced along one vertical edge of the cover and receiving mating patches spaced along an opposite edge the flaps and mating patches having VELCRO, hook and loop material on the mating surfaces thereof. The cover has three triangular portions each having mating flaps and patches in turn. The base and the lower end of the cover have mating strips of hook and loop material.

Abstract: A magnetic decorative cover for metal office furniture. The cover is a lamination of a decorative layer to a magnetic sheet. The decorative layer is selected from a wide variety of materials to provide a desired appearance, to coordinate an office decor, or to blend office furniture together. Suitable decorative materials include fabric, vinyl, leather, wood veneer, marker-board surface, and high-pressure laminate. In the preferred manufacturing method, the laminated materials are laser cut and/or die cut to provide crisp, sharp, non-raveling edges.

Abstract: A fabric cover generally corresponds to the shape of a selected table top and, when placed on the table top, exposes the table top, or any covering thereon beyond the peripheral edges of the fabric cover. Loop extensions periodically extend outward from the periphery of the fabric cover, at least to the edge of the table top and provide loops spaced from the periphery of the fabric cover for receiving ties. At least one decorative tie is fed through the loops and around the table top in decorative way so that adjacent ends of ties may be connected together in a decorative way between adjacent loop extensions. Various decorative detail may be added to the fabric cover and/or the extensions, such as embroidery or cut-outs, which may be left open or have an insert extending across part or all of the cut-out.

Abstract: Improved tablecloth and device for fixing the skin of the tablecloth, the tablecloth comprising an independent skirt which can be detachably held to the board of the table by means which enable a variable distribution of the fixing points, and a cover which is placed on the surface of the table board and hanging sideways and hiding the edge of the board as well as the fixing points of the skirt. The device for fixing the skirt comprises a frame which is fixed to the lower part of the table board, and at a predetermined distance from the edge of the board, remaining slightly separated therefrom by discontinuous portions which can be integral with the frame or not. A variable number of C-shaped parts are placed on the frame which embrace it and are held by means of a narrowing section configured by its own branches, thereby enabling the lateral displacement along the frame.

Abstract: A disposable tablecloth that can easily convert from a table covering to a bag for collecting and disposing of trash. The disposable tablecloth has a cover that can be made out of fluid impenetrable material, such as plastic, a fluid absorbent material, such as paper or cloth, or one or more layers of fluid impenetrable material and one or more layers of fluid absorbent material. The periphery edge of the cover has a drawstring cavity that can be formed by folding the periphery edge over on the cover. A drawstring is disposed inside the drawstring cavity such that it is suitable for securing the tablecloth to a table and for securely closing the bag. The disposable tablecloth is particularly useful for picnics and craft projects where the tablecloth can be used to gather and dispose of the trash.

Abstract: A self-contained portable display for use in displaying decorative or informational objects in the home, office or the like. The display includes a base portion including a top surface and a bottom surface and an integral sheath which serves both as a storage cover and as a decorative skirt. In a preferred form of the invention, the sheath includes a first layer and a second layer, between which is arranged the base portion, and a hem extending about a peripheral edge. Arranged within the hem and extending around the peripheral edge, is a drawstring which serves both as a closure and as a handle for the display when placed in a storage configuration. In addition, a plurality of support points are arranged on a bottom portion of the base for attaching a respective plurality of removable support members.

Abstract: A table cover comprises a rectangular sheet material such as a cloth, a synthetic resin material etc., and multiple napkin pieces which is of the same material and is formed in a body with the cover, respectively. The napkin pieces project beyond side edges of the sheet material and are cut off at both side portions by a fixed length from the sheet material. The napkin pieces also are attached by optional sets of fastening members or buttons at projected edges and on their opposite portions inward of the side edges of the sheet material. The napkins can be maintained cleanly on the table surface by scraping up spilled foods or spilled liquids thereon into the napkin portions on one's lap and prevent soiling clothing or carpet, during a meal. The napkin pieces can also be held back to fix them within the sheet side portions, when not in use. The table cover then can be used in the usual manner on a dining table.

The trap space is configured to releasably engage a portion of a fabric-type furniture cover. An anchor portion is coupled to the attachment portion, the anchor portion having a cupped receiving space adapted to insertibly receive a foot portion of a leg of a furniture piece over which the fabric-type furniture cover is installable. The attachment portion and the anchor portion together establish a cupped receiver that is predominantly constructed from semi-rigid material, preferably plastic, that is form-retaining and that possesses sufficient flexure to accommodate releasable securement of the cupped receiver to a furniture cover.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for providing a protective cover for use on a portable electronic device to substantially prevent harmful impacts thereto. The protective cover may include peripheral pad elements each having a mounting surface and an impact portion and a retention member for retaining the protective cover to the electronic device. The mounting surface for each peripheral pad element may include at least one shoulder extending substantially perpendicularly from the mounting surface so that each peripheral pad element can be positioned in a nested arrangement with at least one peripheral edge of the electronic device. In this manner, the impact portion for each peripheral pad elements provide an exposed, resilient cushion to substantially prevent harmful impact to the electronic device.

Abstract: A cover for protecting patio furniture or other objects from adverse weather includes a UV resistant outer layer that may include a top and side panels, an inner layer that may include a top and side panels, and contact sites by which the two layers are fixedly attached to one another. Releasable fasteners for attaching to the furniture or object to be protected are attached to the inner layer. The contact sites are minimal relative to the size of the inner layer, such that the sum of the areas of contact sites or contact areas is substantially less than an unbonded area of the inner layer. Area and perimeter limits apply to the unbonded area between the layers to ensure the two layers can move relatively independent of each other.

The channel region is spaced at a greater radial distance relative to the table's circumference. The sheet has a table portion area between the channel region and the center and a skirt portion area located between the channel region and the outer perimeter. The table cover is secured by a securing means, such as a drawstring or an elastic ribbon, contained within the channel region.

Abstract: A disposable protective cover for high back chairs including a flexible rectangular panel having a short upper edge, a short lower edge, and long opposed side edges. The flexible rectangular panel is positionable over an upper end of a high back chair. A pair of elastic straps are secured to the long opposed side edges of the flexible rectangular panel for securement of the panel to the upper end of the high back chair.

Abstract: A cover (14) protects a food tray (12) and the like and provides a sanitary environment on the tray for home, restaurant and travel use. The cover includes a overlay portion (15) and a peripheral portion (16). The material of the overlay portion, which is substantially impermeable to liquid and which is positionable atop the tray, has a span greater than that of the tray so that its peripheral portion can extend beyond the edge of the tray. An elastic material (16) is secured to or held within the peripheral portion so that it can be wrapped underneath the tray and thereby secure the cover to the tray. After use, the cover is removable from the tray along with any liquid and solid material or other mess that may exist on the cover.

Abstract: A plastic dust cover for upright freestanding metal shelving units. The dust cover comprises integral top panel, side panels and rear panel together with vertically zippered front panels which are preferably transparent. A Velcro closure system is provided for securing the top of the front panel. Magnets are sewn into the bottom edges of the front panels to cause them to adhere to the bottom front of the shelving unit.

Abstract: An improved furniture bag formed of a dual surface material. The dual surface material has an inside surface with a first coefficient of friction and an outside surface with a second and higher coefficient of friction. The lower coefficient of friction inside surface allows the bag to more easily side onto items of furniture. The higher coefficient of friction outside surface allows for easier handling of the bag and easier application of adhesives on tape and labels.
