Track And Bracket Patents (Class 16/94R)
  • Patent number: 4166306
Abstract: A curtain rod assembly manufactured primarily from extruded aluminum components, the curtain rod defining an elongated cruciform groove in its upper portion to receive therein a like shaped support part, a horizontal flange being provided at the rod's lower portion to receive wheeled curtain carriers, the rod being symmetrical about a vertical plane. In a modification of the rod, instead of a vertically elongated cruciform groove, a vertical plate-liked portion is provided wherein such upper vertical portion is fastened through horizontal bolts to an overhead support, a flange on the lower aspect with a horizontal cross piece defining tracks for the wheeled curtain carriers as in the first modification, this second modification also being symmetrical about a vertical plane.

  • Patent number: 4159556
Abstract: A suspension system primarily designed for use with operable walls and partitions can be constructed utilizing a plurality of identical tracks joined together in a system having a junction between such tracks and a trolley which is movable along the tracks and across the junction. Each of the tracks includes a pair of first spaced, parallel flanges and a second pair of spaced, parallel flanges located beneath the first pair. The trolley includes a bearing plate carrying a plurality of downwardly extending spherical bearings and a support plate located parallel to and underneath the bearing plate and the downwardly extending bearings. The trolley is adapted to be positioned in any of the tracks with bearings on the trolley supporting the trolley on the first pair of parallel flanges and with the support plate being located between the pairs of flanges.

  • Patent number: 4121717
Abstract: A slide bracket supporting assembly particularly applicable for use in display racks and storage of articles including a track defining a slot in which a plurality of slide brackets are removably engaged for stacked sliding movement therealong. Each slide bracket incorporates a mounting member for securing an article, such as a fabric or carpet sample, thereto. The slide bracket includes a T-shaped dog connected to an elongated body formed with a rearwardly extending flange adapted to be slidably disposed within the slot, preventing relative rotation of the slide bracket and the slot. The T-shaped dog is adapted to be removably engaged in the track, whereby the slide bracket and the article mounted thereon can readily be removed by outward tilting of the slide bracket relative to the track and a rotation thereof through an angularity of about 90.degree., enabling extraction of the dog from engagement with the track.

  • Patent number: 3943598
Abstract: A master slide for supporting the leading edge portion of a drape which includes a horizontally extending arm having vertical holes for receiving in upright position a forwardly projecting drapery hook at the front and a laterally projecting drapery hook at the tip. Special abutments are provided at the tip to hold the hook positively in its laterally extending direction free of swiveling action so that the leading edge portion of the drape, hooked in stretched condition on the hooks, closely conforms to the front surface of the arm and extends to a point beyond the tip. In the preferred embodiment, the special tip construction is used in both right hand and left hand master slides, forming an overlapping set, with the conformation of the drapes to the arms serving to hold the leading edge portions of the drapes under positive control to preclude any rubbing of the drapery material as the slides move in and out of their overlapping relation.
