Removably Mounted Over Fabric In Frame Patents (Class 160/106)
  • Patent number: 10422135
Abstract: An open barrier frame in an inverted U-shaped configuration has an upper horizontal and two laterally spaced vertical segments. The segment has an interiorly facing indentation with a width and a thickness. A lower closure segment with lateral ends is coupled to the vertical segments. The closure segment has a generally rectangular cross sectional configuration with a vertical slot. In this manner the barrier frame creates a rectangular channel. A panel insert has a width and a thickness essentially equal to the width and thickness of the U-shaped indentation. The panel insert has an upper edge extending into the indentation of the horizontal segment. The panel has a lower edge extending into the slot of the closure segment and terminating at an intermediate elevation of the slot.

  • Patent number: 9433325
Abstract: A guide and drain assembly has a drain channel with a base wall and first and second side walls extending along a longitudinal axis, and a cover extending over the channel. The cover has at least one guide channel extending along the longitudinal axis and positioned between first and second edge members. The at least one guide channel is formed by a first base section positioned between first and second sides. The at least one guide channel is sized to receive an edge portion of a sliding door of a shower door assembly. The base section of the at least one guide channel defines a series of apertures extending longitudinally and providing fluid communication between the guide channel and the drain channel.

  • Patent number: 7584579
Abstract: A storm panel attachment and retaining system designed to accept one or more rectangular storm panels covering an opening in a building as a means of protection from the winds and flying debris associated with severe storm or hurricane forces. The system includes two interchangeable and substantially identical, storm panel attachment and retaining units, fabricated of plastic materials, minimizing the corrosive and rusting affect of coastal salt air environments upon such systems. The attachment units are mounted above and below an opening in a building to be protected, to receive, retain, and support storm panels properly sized to cover the opening. The system configuration accepts a variety of readily available storm panel materials, providing a wide selection during storm related emergency periods. The system is of a design to allow a home owner or do-it-yourselfer to install the attachment units following a severe storm warning, with minimum effort and direction.

  • Patent number: 6776709
Abstract: An openable floor vent cover for use in preventing debris from entering a floor vent during construction is comprised of a board having a length and width larger than the vent to be covered. Then board is provided with a cut substantially in the shape and size of the vent to be covered. An airflow permable debris barrier is attached to the periphery of a first surface of the board. The portion of the board within the cut is removable to enable airflow from the vent as desired during construction, and may be replaced when airflow from the vent is no longer needed. The board is nailed to the subflooring surrounding the vent. The cover may be removed after construction.
