Abstract: A doubled hanging garment bag is provided in which first and second garment bags, each with its own characteristics, are provided with a closure encircling the peripheries of the bags and permitting selective joining of the bags. Thus, when a larger amount of space is required as for the carrying of a larger number of garments, the bags may be joined together for handling as one. When a smaller amount of space is required, the bags may be separated and only one used.

Abstract: A carrying assembly, suitable for use either as a backpack or a piece of luggage, and especially suited for carrying equipment for recreational water sports such as scuba diving, includes a body, having side, top, bottom, front and back walls, defining a storage space within which are disposed a plurality of storage pockets. The body and pockets may be formed of a strong yet flexible and water resistant material to accommodate transport of both wet and dry items. Also, some pockets may be formed of a strong yet flexible mesh material to facilitate rapid drainage and drying of wet items, especially when the storage space is opened to permit free air circulation. Side wall straps are provided for when the assembly is employed in its luggage configuration and rear wall straps are provided for when it is in its backpack mode. When used as luggage, a closable flap covers and secures in place the rear wall straps.
Abstract: A garment bag that may serve as a portable wardrobe comprises flexible front, back and side panels which define a compartment for containing articles of clothing and accessories. The front panel has a flap adapted to be rolled and stored in the bottom of the garment bag. The garment bag is provided with pockets that are accessible from inside the bag with the flap in its stowed position.
Abstract: A suitcase or luggage equipped with a self-contained convertible wheeled carrier is disclosed for carrying personal articles therein, when positioned in a conventional suitcase mode, while simultaneously having the mobile facility to carry additional luggage and/or other articles thereon, when converted to an additional luggage carrying mode. The suitcase includes two article holding compartments which are pivotally hinged relative to one another, and locking means for locking one compartment at a fixed angular distance from the other compartment when it is desired to convert the suitcase to an additional luggage carrying position. The suitcase futher includes child carrying means, which is collapsible and concealably hidden when not in use, for carrying a small child therein.
