The luggage article includes a housing at least partially formed by an outer layer and defining in part a first side, a second side, and a third side. A corner region is defined at the intersection of the first, second, and third sides, and an apex region is defined at least partially by the corner region. The luggage article may also include a first elongated surface feature formed by the outer layer and extending at least partially across one or more of the first, second, and third sides at a first distance spaced away from the apex region and curving relative to the apex region. The luggage article may also include a second elongated surface feature. The first and second surface features may define a curve similar to each other along a portion of their respective length.

Abstract: A green or sustainable building infrastructure comprising conjoining modular building segments. The purpose of the invention is to increase the precision, quality, and timing of building projects by allowing modular building segments to be constructed in an off-site controlled environment, transported, and quickly assembled on site. The conjoining modular building segments are prismatic box-like structures conjoined in a variety of configurations, each having at least three walls. The prismatic box-like structures are arranged and attached horizontally to create ceilings and floors, and they are arranged and attached vertically to create walls for the infrastructure. Some of the walls may be removed and the space inside each prismatic box-like structure is available for storage. The prismatic box-like structures may have certain dimensions, comprise specific materials, or be constructed or conjoined in specific ways.

Abstract: A stretch film wrapping system for wrapping film about palletized loads includes a wrapping station for wrapping stretch film about a palletized load. A corner protector placement station is located upstream of the wrapping station along a path of a conveying system leading from the corner protector placement station to the wrapping station. Corner protectors are applied to the corner edges of a palletized load at the corner protector placement station, prior to delivering the palletized load to the wrapping station. The corner protector placement station may include a pair of robotic arms that pick corner protectors, position them for application of an adhesive and then apply the protectors to the corner edges of the palletized load.

Each section can be a panel with a polygonal shape. A slot disposed within the upper panel such that it is aligned over the handle of the covered traveling bag and is dimensioned to hold the handle of the covered bag in a telescoped position. The lower panel further comprises at least one opening in the dimensioned to accommodate the bottom of the covered traveling bag. The protective covering further comprises an inlet for insertion and removal of the traveling bag into the cavity of the housing.

Abstract: The present invention provides a pull-rod computer bag including a bag body, internally defining a hold space; a pull rod, assembled scalably onto one side of the hold space; a roller set, assembled at one corner of the bag body; and a housing cover with a computer hold tank. The housing cover is laterally connected with the bag body, enabling opening and closing and having a faceplate and a peripheral portion, such that the computer hold tank is formed between the faceplate and peripheral portion. A buffer pad is assembled on the faceplate and a retractable side wall is assembled onto the peripheral portion of the housing cover, enabling the peripheral portion to be expanded or reduced with respect to the area. A flexible control member is used to locate the shrinking state of the retractable side wall.

With the enhancement of U-shaped support plate and L-shaped lower skeletal frame members, the purpose of protecting the bottom of luggage and strengthening the structural frame is achieved.

The pad has a foot section spacing the base from any surface luggage, the foot section spacing the base from any surface underlying the article of luggage when rested thereon. A side guard is integral with the foot section and extends from the foot section, the side guard having a proximal leg to be disposed on the base of the luggage, adjacent the foot section, and a distal leg oriented at an angle to the proximal leg such that the side guard defines a protective projection extending from the luggage at the feet around a lower corner of the article of luggage and up a sidewall. A shank can be embedded in a connecting section molded between the feet, and holes can be provided for receiving fasteners extending through the feet and also through the distal end of the side guard. At least some of the holes and fasteners can be aligned to the side guard, for bearing a tensile load.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a system for stacking cases in a nesting relationship. A number of cases, each substantially identical to the other are configured to permit stacking in a nested relationship in a number of directions. Each such case includes corner brackets with recesses and protrusions which interact with complementary brackets on adjacent cases. Corner brackets in cooperation with other edge brackets also permit stacking in a nested relationship when the covers for these cases are removed and the orientation of the cases is shifted. A latching means is also provided to secure the cover in place without adversely affecting the latching mechanism.

Abstract: A suitcase is modified to have wheels at the bottom corners of the rear face of the suitcase, a retractable handle with an offset to secure stacked luggage against the offset, and a spring actuated folding shelf which can grip adjacent luggage items. The offset handle can be used for normal lifting when retracted and pulling when extended. Offset allows extension structure to be placed in the rear wall of the suitcase while the handle is placed in the normal central location. The offset also lowers the center of gravity of the combination, especially when other items of luggage are stacked on the extensible handle. The shelf is incorporated into the front wall, and can be folded out and down to support adjacent luggage. The shelf is spring loaded towards the closed (flush with suitcase) position, in order to secure the shelf when not in use and to grip adjacent luggage when the shelf is deployed.

Abstract: A case assembly kit for assembling a case of any chosen dimensions from a plurality of separate components includes a series of panels which are cut to chosen dimensions to form the bottom, side and end walls of a box-like, open top enclosure base and the top, side and end walls of a similar box-like lid. The kit further includes a series of angled corner strips for connecting adjacent edges of the bottom, side and end wall panels of the base and top, side and end wall panels of the lid, and mateable closure strips for securing along the opposed peripheral upper and lower edges, respectively, of the base and lid. Hinge devices are provided for hinging the lid along one edge to the base, and a latching mechanism is provided for releasably closing the lid. All the separate parts are securable together by bonding.

Abstract: Luggage comprises a box and a lid hinged thereto. The box and lid are latched closed by a hasp/latch arrangement. The latch is configured to act upon the hasp to pop-open the lid when the hasp is unlatched. The lid is held open by a stay which includes a non-metallic washer sandwiched between a pair of metallic links. The washer includes a flexing shoulder which yieldably resists rotation of the links. A handle is mounted on the luggage and comprises a flexible grip which is molded onto a stiff skeleton. The latter includes anchoring holes and ribs to prevent separation of the grip from the skeleton. The handle is mounted by means of studs, the latter being secured to the lid or box by means of wedges which are pushed between flexible legs of the studs. Hinges of the lid include plastic ground-engaging pads which are joined to anchoring skirts which prevent dislodgement of the pads from the hinge.
