  • Patent number: 6405843
Abstract: A self supporting electrical cable is provided which is especially of use in linear motion devices. The cable is in the form of a band having a crowned or curved cross-section. The band is self supporting and is typically employed in a looped configuration. The band is composed of a Mylar or other plastic or electrically insulating laminate with electrical conductors and reinforcing elements. The conductors are typically copper and the reinforcing elements are typically stainless steel. In use the cable is usually folded back on itself 180° to provide a loop configuration with a fixed radius loop end in which the loop is moveable along the direction of travel. One end of the cable is connected to the linear motion device, and the other end is connected to a stationary device.

Abstract: A signal wiring elastic rewinding device comprised of a case, a reel, a spring component, a lock button, and signal wiring. The case consists of an upper case half and a lower case half that are assembled together. A plug receptacle and an opening are formed in the lateral end at the upper section and, furthermore, a containment recess is formed at the lower section of the opening and an opening is formed in another lateral end at the lower section of the case. This provides for winding the signal wiring around the reel such that after the reel is installed on a projecting shaft inside the case, the ends of signal wiring extend respectively from the two lateral openings.

  • Patent number: 6397991
Abstract: A communications cable coiling box, composed of a casing including a coiling disk, a communications cable, a flexible member, and a mechanical switch. The communications cable is folded and coiled into a lateral side of the coiling disk and an external ring and the coil disk is disposed behind an axle inside the casing, with the flexible member in the circular convex ring on the other side and coupled to the axle. The communications cable can be pulled from the openings on the lateral sides of the casing, and the flexible member and the mechanical switch control the rewinding of the coiling disk to roll up the cable. This structure allows the cable to be pulled out freely to an appropriate length for use, or attains a fast rolling of the cable by the movement of such mechanical switch and the flexible member.

  • Patent number: 6371398
Abstract: A positioning device of a wire groove in a wire winding box, and especially to a wire winding box for automatically winding a communication wire and receiving the communication wire therein is disclosed. The inner lateral surface of the wire groove of the box body has at least one positioning piece. When the communication wire is inserted from the groove hole of the shaft of the box body, it at first passes through a positioning groove between the positioning piece and the shaft so that the communication wire is clamped and positioned in the positioning groove not to be pulled. Therefore, when one end of the communication wire is pulled from the wire winding box, another end will not be affected. That is, another end will not reduce into the box body. Therefore, two ends of the communication wire may retain a predetermined length to expose out.
