Abstract: In a coin-operated device an inserted coin lodges in a tumbler member which is adjustable continuously or in discrete steps to cater for coins of a different denomination. Upon receipt of a valid coin, the tumbler member tilts to allow the coin to pass between the tumbler member and a pendulum member.
