The lower half supports are elevated above the bottom of the container housing so as to provide clearance for equipment stored on the bottom of the container housing. The lid comprises upper half supports that are positioned so as to align with the lower half supports, such that the lower and upper half supports are complementary halves of a fishing rod support. In this way, a fishing rod can be secured in place between the upper and lower half supports when the container is closed.

One exemplary embodiment of the golf bag divider accessory comprises a shell mountable on an upper rim portion of a conventional golf bag. The golf clubs are maintained in a spaced-apart relationship while the golf clubs are received in the respective ones of the plurality of openings. This arrangement of the golf clubs provided by the shell prevents the golf clubs from impacting each other and becoming damaged. Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for securing golf clubs stored in a golf bag so that their tendency to bounce and collide with one another, and thereby produce an undesirable chattering noise, is greatly reduced or eliminated while the golf bag is being carried. The system includes one or more lines or other extended items that make a serpentine path over the top of the golf bag, winding through the golf club shafts. One end of each of the one or more lines is attached to the carrying strap of the golf bag. When the golf bag carrying strap is raised to lift the golf bag off the ground for carrying, tension is placed on the lines and they are caused to retract, securing the clubs against the dividers so that they do not move around and collide with one another as the golf bag is being carried.

Abstract: One embodiment of a golf bag base that securely seats the multi-sized grip ends of golf clubs within a golf bag for storage. The base is located at the bottom interior of a golf bag and has upon it a plurality of shaped partitions. Each partition is wider at its bottom end and extends upwardly and inwardly at an angle to terminate at a narrower apex end. The partitions define volumes of space between each set of adjacent partitions that are sized for both narrow and wide diameter golf club grip ends. The surfaces of the partitions frictionally secure and release the grip ends of the golf clubs with a simple twist by the user. The apex end of each partition has a rigidly flexible deflecting tip that helps to guide a golf club grip end to an adjacent available empty space within the storage base.

A handle is connected to the side frame members and/or horizontal members. A skin formed of a single piece of material which fits onto, and attaches to, the golf bag frame. Upper flaps of the skin fold over arms of the side frame members and attach to an underside of the skin using hook and loop fasteners (e.g., Velcro), buttons, snaps, zippers or the like.

The elongated member houses the golf club shaft and grip and protects the shaft and grip from wear and damage. The sensing device is housed within the elongated member and includes a motion sensor that senses movement of the elongated member beyond a motion threshold level, and an alarm. The sensing device contacts the grip when the golf club is present in the elongated member and the alarm is kept deactivated. When the golf club is removed from the elongated member for at least a predetermined time period and the elongated member is moved beyond the motion threshold level, the alarm will activate until either the golf club is returned to the elongated member or the device is turned off.

Abstract: A bifurcatable golf and rod bag and bicycle rack system for facilitating easy transport of a golf bag and contents by a human on a bicycle.
