Including Means For Maintaining Bag In Upright Position Patents (Class 206/315.7)
  • Patent number: 11906104
Abstract: A device for propping up an object, in particular, a long-handled object. The device includes a V-shaped leg apparatus having a pair of legs that are spaced apart from one another but may be compressed towards one another. Leg holder attaches to the long-handled object and the two legs pass through openings formed through the leg holder. A latch is attached to the long-handled object beneath the leg holder, and a slider is selectively movable along the lengths of the two legs and when moved towards the leg holder causes the legs to spread apart and spring outwardly away from the long-handled object, and when moved towards the latch, cause the legs to be brought together and extend parallel to and adjacent the long-handled object. The slider engages with the latch to lock the device in its propping position.

  • Patent number: 10563346
Abstract: A container takes on the form of a laundry hamper or basket while static or stationary. Upon bringing front and back panels of the container into closer proximity for transport, such as by drawing together their respective handles, or drawing one of the handles towards the other, the container changes configuration, or shape, to that of a tote bag. Upon releasing at least one of the front and back panels of the container from being drawn towards the other, such as by releasing at least one of their respective handles, the container automatically reverts back to the form of a laundry hamper or basket. The use of substantially rigid front and back panels, coupled with side panels that have resilient upper regions, permit the side panels to take on a spout-like configuration when the container is in its tote bag configuration, and to return to a planar configuration when the container is in its laundry hamper or basket configuration.

The legs are mounted pivotally on the top frame. The activating rod is mounted on the rotate bottom base and connected to the legs. The pivot bracket mounted on the sidewall instead the bottom of the rotate bottom base prevent the legs of the golf stand bag from inadvertently extending out the legs when the golf stand bag leans against a wall.

Abstract: A golf bag has a cord, a bottom frame and a top frame. The bottom frame has a cover and a bottom cuff received therein. The bottom cuff is pivotally mounted to the cover and has a bevel surface, a lever holder and a lever received in the lever holder and tied to the cord. The top frame has a cord guide for guiding and branching the cord and two leg holders tied to two branches of the cord and abut against the cord guide. When the golf bag is tilted, the bevel surface rests on the cover, the cord is dragged down to pull and extend out the two leg holders to stand on the ground. As the cover stay intact when the bottom cuff tilts, the golf bag can stably stand and requires a simplified cord linking design.

Abstract: A golf bag banner includes a flexible body movable between at least a first position and a second position and a connector mechanism to secure the flexible body to a movable leg of a golf bag. A fixture is provided to hold the banner along the length of leg. A golf bag is essentially a container to receive golf clubs therein. A stand mechanism can be connected to the container to provide a bag stand position and a retracted position. The bag banner can be fixed to the stand mechanism, e.g., connected between two legs of the stand mechanism. The bag banner can include a flexible body, e.g., a fabric, movable between at least the stand position and the retracted position and a connector system to secure the flexible body to the two legs. The bag banner can incorporate logos and other insignia that a manufacturer or golfer would like to display with his/her golf bag.

Abstract: Auxiliary golf club holder with three tubular members attached to each other by two side mounted pivot members. A top plate and bottom plate are hinged together at their front edge. The bottom plate is attached to the central tubular member. A rigid finger extends downwardly from the top plate. A locking handle is pivotably mounted to the bottom plate in a spring biased fashion. When the handle is rotated down, an extension tip at the top of the handle pushes the top plate up causing the finger to be pulled in so that it can frictionally engage the side wall of a standard golf bag and hold the auxiliary golf club holder onto the outside of the bag. The three tubes can be splayed out by the user to form a stable tripod configuration. A standard golf club can be safely and cleanly stored in each tubular member.
