  • Patent number: 11228334
Abstract: A case structure includes an inner case base, a buffer outer case and a torsional spring. The inner case base has a corner area and a fixing column located at the corner area. The buffer outer case is movably overlapped on an outer side of the corner area. The torsional spring is sleeved on the fixing column and located between the buffer outer case and the inner case base. A first end and a second end of the torsional spring are respectively connected to the buffer outer case. When the force exerted on the buffer outer case causes the buffer outer case to move relative to the inner case base, the torsional spring correspondingly deforms and stores elastic potential energy. When the force exerted on the buffer outer case disappears, the torsional spring releases the elastic potential energy to reposition the buffer outer case.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a barcode-reading system that includes a mobile device accessory attached to a mobile device. The mobile device accessory includes a button assembly having an outer button and dielectric material. When an input object (e.g., a finger) comes into contact with the button assembly, the dielectric material comes into contact with a touch interface (e.g., a button or touchscreen) and causes the mobile device to detect a touch input. In particular, the dielectric material of the button assembly may activate a capacitive property of a button or touchscreen to enable the mobile device to detect the touch input.

  • Patent number: 10844652
Abstract: An expandable, low-elasticity spacer made of two-sided corrugated material having a topsheet, a bottomsheet, and a corrugated sheet therebetween forming flutes. The spacer comprises two strips of the corrugated material, joined together to form a polygon having inside and outside corners. Each outside corner of the polygon has a slit parallel to the flutes that severs the continuity of the sheet in which it is made, eliminating the ability of the discontinuous portions to pull against each other, thereby eliminating potential spring back. The spacer is perforated, scored or crimped parallel to the flutes in one or more of the inside corners to make it easier to bend the spacer at the desired fold line. Because the spacer avoids springing back to its collapsed position, it can be sized to fill a cavity with no excess material and leave no unintended gaps. The corrugated material is preferably fiberboard or plastic.
