Abstract: A wireless portable battery powered vehicle jack. The vehicle jack is comprised of a handle portion and a base portion that is manipulated by a pair of wheels. The handle portion comprises of an emergency stop switch, a control panel, a battery indicator, a remote control, a light, and an electric lock solenoid that is used to manipulate the handle portion. The base portion comprises of a tank, a power unit, a battery, a controller, a safety manifold, a master switch, a hydraulic ram, and a hydraulic conduit. The vehicle jack is designed to provide comfort to the user, to prevent injuries, and to minimize freak accidents.

Abstract: A drill bit cooling system is provided. After drilling use, the drill tip of a drill bit reaches higher temperatures than a shank or flute of the drill bit. Compartments are provided that are sized in length and width (diameter) to accommodate the drill bit and a cover or back plate with an increased melting temperature facilitates the storage of hot drill tip. By using different components to construct the drill bit holder, a lightweight and versatile cooling system permits the drill bit to be rapidly interchanged on a power tool or drill, without melting through the storage device. This helps the operator interchange drill bits while working on a workpiece without waiting for each drill bit to cool prior to storing and replacing the drill bit.

A carrying case for a power tool includes an interior volume defined by a top, a bottom, a front, a back, a first side, and a second side. The carrying case further includes a plurality of distinct compartments within the interior volume. The distinct compartments are configured to receive a battery-powered power tool, a battery configured to power the battery-powered power tool, and a battery charger for the battery, respectively. The carrying case further includes a battery receiver configured for locking engagement with the battery, wherein the battery receiver is formed on an interior surface of at least one of the front, back, first side, or second side.

Abstract: A toilet brush assembly including a brush, including: a handle assembly including a handle assembly proximal end and a handle assembly distal end; and a brush head that includes a plurality of tufts of bristles disposed on an outer surface of the brush head, a cavity defined by an inner surface of the brush head, and a fastener portion. The toilet brush assembly also includes a base, including a cup for receiving the brush head. The brush head selectively couples to the handle assembly distal end at the fastener portion of the brush head at a handle assembly-brush head connection; and at least one of the base and the brush head define at least one interference feature formed from a surface of the base and that contacts the tufts of bristles when the brush head is in a rest position within the cup.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed including a tool clip having a receptacle, and a matching receptacle sleeve to attach to an elongated hand tool, such as a screwdriver. In various embodiments, the receptacle has springs to lock and retain the sleeve and hand tool in the tool clip. In a locked state, the screwdriver is restricted from axial and radial movements. In some embodiments, the sleeve has notches or cavities to receive a spring tip or tooth for locking the tool. The springs may be of different types, made of plastic or metal, and may be a single piece or multiple pieces. The tool clip may further include belt clips, loops, or hangers of various sorts to attach the tool clip to a toolbelt worn by a user.

Abstract: A tool-hanging apparatus includes a hanger and a rotor. The hanger includes a ring, an inward flange formed on a rear internal section of the ring, and teeth formed on a front internal section of the ring. An internal diameter of the inward flange is smaller than a diameter of a circular defined by the teeth. The rotor includes elastic strips extending from a tube. Each of the elastic strips includes a groove between a ridge and a barb. One of the elastic strips includes a tooth extending from the ridge of the same. When the rotor is inserted in the ring, the grooves of the elastic strips receive the inward flange to keep the rotor in the ring and allow the rotor to rotate relative to the ring. The tooth is engageable with the teeth to keep the rotor at an angle relative to the ring elastically.

Abstract: A storage shield for a disc of an angle grinder is provided according to the present invention. The storage shield includes a first shield member and a second shield member. Each of the first and second shield members includes a front face, an opposing rear face positioned parallel to and a distance apart from the front face, an end wall that joins an upper edge of the front face to an upper edge of the rear face, and a front face opening between a lower edge of the front face and a lower edge of the rear face, and an opening in a center area of the front face at the lower edge thereof. A pivot hinge assembly pivotally connects a first end of the first shield member to a first end of the second shield member. Fastening means for affixing the storage shield and stored angle grinder to a worksite surface are affixed to the rear face of one of the first shield member or second shield member. A method of protecting a disc of an angle grinder when not in use is also provided. First, the storage shield is opened.

Abstract: A blade retention mechanism that includes a body and a catch. The catch is configured to engage a bit. A knurled nut is configured to engage the catch and the body such that it is movable. When the nut is moved between a first position and a second position the catch moves between a first position and a second position. A v-groove is formed in the body and is configured to receive and retain a bit when the catch is in the first position.

Abstract: A manually operable clip holder is disclosed to be attached to the clothing (e.g., at a belt or pants) worn by an individual to enable a tool to be carried from place-to-place by the individual while the individual's hands remain free. The clip holder has a casing that is capable of receiving, holding and releasing a clip that is connected to the tool to be carried by the individual. A flap pivotally coupled to the front of the casing rotates in response to a pushing force applied thereto in order to release the tool clip from the casing by way of an opening formed in the front. A flexible, U-shaped attachment clip is mounted on a metal clip retaining plate that is connected to the back of the casing. The U-shaped attachment clip is suspended from the clip retaining plate and configured to be removably attached to the individual's clothing.

Abstract: A packaging card for a tool comprising a fixed member and a movable member that is selectively movable relative to the fixed member includes a tool engaging region coupling the packaging card to the movable member such that movement of the movable member relative to the fixed member moves the card relative to the fixed member. Another packaging card for a tool having a housing with front and side apertures includes a front flange receivable in the front aperture of the tool, a side flange insertable into the side aperture, and a hook catchable on an interior of the housing to deter removal of the packaging card from the tool until sufficient force is applied to overcome a holding power of the hook.

The trowel protector accessory encloses a plurality of lateral faces of the trowel. The trowel protector accessory prevents the edges of the trowel from causing inadvertent damage. The trowel is stored within the trowel protector accessory. The trowel is removed from the trowel when the trowel is in use. The trowel protector accessory comprises the trowel and the edge guard. Abstract: A tote assembly has a tote and a lid. The tote has a sealing channel formed in a lip that extends around a perimeter of a tote opening. At least one drain is formed in the lip and is adapted to direct a fluid away from the sealing channel. The lid has a center portion, a collar disposed around the center portion forming a perimeter of the lid, and a sealing rib formed in the collar that extends around the perimeter of the lid. The collar forms an interference fit with the lip of the tote. The sealing rib is configured to be disposed in the sealing channel to form a fluid tight seal. The fluid-tight seal between the tote and lid ensures the contents of the tote remain dry in an otherwise wet environment or conditions.

Abstract: It may be determined that a material package has been used by determining that the material package has moved from a previously recorded location based upon location data corresponding to the material package and a beacon code. The location data may correspond to the material package and the beacon code being periodically reported by a beacon located proximate to the material package. Next, a weight of the material package that has been used subsequent to the material package being used may be received and, based upon the beacon code and in response to receiving the weight of the material package; the material database for a material package record may be queried. A remaining amount of material corresponding to the material package may be calculated based upon the received weight and data from the material package record found from the material package record.

Abstract: An improved base block is disclosed for use mainly in road milling equipment, but also capable of use in trenching equipment and mining equipment. The base mounting portion is shortened in length from such prior art base blocks and has a reduced length device receiving portion extending therefrom that includes a bore therethrough. Rearwardly of the device receiving portion, the base mounting portion includes a reduced diameter semi-bore or curved wall capable of engaging a portion of the shank side wall of a standard length bit/holder shank. Additionally, an angled slot adjacent the rear of the device receiving bore increases access to the rear to aid removal of a bit/holder therefrom.

The positioning members each include a connecting portion, a correcting portion and a guiding slope portion. The connecting portion connects the edges of the lid. The correcting portion has one end connected to the connecting portion and extending in a shutting direction and an opposing end connected to the guiding slope portion. The guiding slope portion has a slope extending outward. The reticle pod having a positioning member is error-free, allowing the lid to shut precisely relative to the base.

Abstract: A stackable sawblade containment assembly comprises a plurality of annular covers and an outer lip. The plurality of annular covers is defined by an outer perimeter, wherein each of the annular cover comprises a containment face and a base face, wherein at least one protrusion and at least one depression are coupled to the annular cover. The outer lip is disposed to extend along the outer perimeter and extending from the containment face. The at least one protrusion is disposed in general alignment with the at least one depression, whereby the at least one protrusion is configured to form a snap-fit relationship with the at least one depression. The containment face from one of the plurality of annular covers, and the base face from another one of the plurality of annular covers are detachably connected, forming an inner cavity and a stacked arrangement of annular covers.

The article comprises at least one limb. The article is mounted to the display card by the at least one limb which extends through the tubular structure.

Abstract: A packaging assembly for a drill bit. The packaging assembly includes a front clip with a front side, a rear side opposite the front side, and a drill bit holding region. The drill bit holding region defines a recess with a first channel to receive a portion of the drill bit. The front clip further includes a window extending between the front and rear side to view the drill bit. The window extends away from the drill bit holding region in a longitudinal direction of the front clip. The packaging assembly further includes a back clip that is separate from the front clip. The back clip includes a second channel. The back clip is secured to the front clip to hold the drill bit within the first and second channels.

A retaining bar with a lock engaging feature is pivotally attached to the baseplate and is configured to capture the flange between itself and the two engaging pins and/or to capture the flange between itself and the two flange head posts or flange engaging ears. A lock device is attached to the baseplate opposite the hinge or pivot. The lock engaging feature of the retaining bar and the lock device cooperate to secure the retaining bar in place over the flange on the bottom plate of the blower.

The key matching module matches the key identifier with a range of stored key identifiers stored in a storage device. Images of lockable devices corresponding to the matched range are displayed on a user display screen, and the user can select a lockable device from the displayed images. The selected lockable device is customized to open with the user's existing key.

Abstract: A filter trap for a motor vehicle thermal device is made of polymer material and includes two longitudinal edges extending along a length thereof connected by two lateral edges extending along a width thereof. The trap includes a first assembly tab extending along the length thereof and fixed to one of the lateral edges. The trap also includes a snap coupling to block the trap. The snap-coupling is fixed to one of the longitudinal edges and is located in the vicinity of another of the lateral edges. The trap also includes a second assembly tab extending perpendicular to the first assembly tab. The catheter has a funnel (224) attached to the tubing. The funnel has a seal portion releasably engageable with the case. The cap is releasably engageable with the funnel to retain the funnel in contact with the case. A user can flip the cap off the funnel to permit removal of the catheter from the case. A hydration device may be inserted in the case. Alternately, a tubular liner may be inserted in the case to separate liquid water on the outside of the liner from the catheter tubing on the inside of the liner. A window in the liner mounts a patch of filter material that permits the passage of water vapor into the interior of the liner.

Then, based upon a beacon code received in response to the ingress of the material package back into the operations area, a material database may be queried for a material package record. Next, a remaining amount of material corresponding to the material package may be calculated based upon the received weight and data from the material package record found from the material database query. The material package record may then be updated in the material database with the calculated remaining amount of material corresponding to the material package.

Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-part cut guard for a tool that is rotatable in a cutting plane. The cut guard includes a first part element and at least one further part element. The part elements are connected together at their ends and form a closed circumference. Opposing first ends of the part elements are connected together, forming a pivot joint. The second ends of the part elements are fixed releasably together. The pivot joint is formed from a latching receptacle and a latching stub which form the pivot joint in the latched state and are intended to be separated in order to release the latching.

Abstract: A protective packaging for sharp-edged objects is disclosed. The protective packaging generally has two shell parts connected pivotally on one side in the area of a pivot axis. At least one of the shell parts forms a first receiving space that is configured to receive an object and provide a free space between for the shell parts and the object, and a second receiving area configured to hold the object in a form-fitting manner. A third receiving space adjacent the second receiving area provides sufficient space for connection of a tool carrier to the object. The protective packaging is therefore designed as a mounting and removal tool rotatable around its longitudinal axis, and the object contained in the protective packaging can be mounted on and removed from any tool holder together with the protective packaging without contact with the hand.

An L-shaped restriction member is connected to a slit defined in the first end and the outside surface of the security member. The restriction member has an engaging portion which extends through the opening and inserted into a gap between a bead and a reception hole for receiving the bead of the hand tool to prevent the hand tool from being separating from the ring.

The blister includes a wrap-around strap attached to the blister at a first end of the strap to secure a portion of the product therein. The peripheral flange and a second end of the strap are sealed between the front and back panels.

Abstract: An anti-theft hangtag includes a body adapted to attach to a tool. The body includes a plate, two engaging portions integrally connected with the plate, a flexible portion located between and connected with the two engaging portions, and a linkage portion connected with the plate and the flexible portion. The two engaging portions are respectively elastically deflectable relative to the plate. The two engaging portions have two faces parallel to each other. When the body is attached to the tool, the two engaging portions are inserted into the tool and are respectively elastically deflected to actuate the flexible portion to elastically abut against the two engaging portions. One of the two engaging portions is engaged with the tool so that the tool is unable to detach from the body to achieve an anti-theft function.

Abstract: A tool repair system that aids in the repair of malfunctioned inner tool components. The system includes a package having a fully assembled component disposed on top of a component locating structure and held in place by one or more retainers. After removing the malfunctioned component, the tool can be lowered onto the component locating structure, thereby pushing the retainers off the fully assembled component and coupling the fully assembled component to the tool via an opening in the tool. Repairing the tool is therefore quick, easy, and does not require extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the tool.

Abstract: A pole saw apparatus includes a saw blade, a pole, and a tubular adapter connecting the saw blade to the pole. The adapter includes an obround blade-receiving end that stably telescopingly engage sides of the blade-receiving end, with bolts fixing the blade on the adapter. The adapter also includes a pole-engaging end that is cylindrically shaped to telescopingly engage the anchoring end of the pole. A friction clamp includes a transverse shaft extending through the pole, the shaft being shaped to slide into longitudinal slots in the pole-engaging end of the adapter and then rotate into circumferential slots where it is not longitudinally removable. A rotatable cam handle on the clamp is manipulated to create circumferential friction to hold (or release) the adapter on the pole. The blade, adapter and pole align along a common centerline for robust and balanced use.
