Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide drug packaging and methods for producing drug packaging which can be sealed at room temperature and/or without the need for elevated temperatures above room temperature. Many embodiments provide drug packaging comprising pierceable tubing having a capsule shape (also referred to herein as a pierceable capsule and/or pierceable drug capsule) containing a solid drug such as a drug pellet and methods for producing pierceable drug capsules which can be sealed at room temperature. Embodiments are particularly useful for the packaging and delivery of drugs used in implantable drug delivery devices as well as packaging of drugs that are easily thermally degraded.

The septum is disposed within the inner lumen. The septum activator is disposed within the inner lumen proximal the septum. The septum activator has an inner passage extending therethrough. The blood sampling device has a tube that is longer than a length of the septum activator and has a width less than or equal to a width of the inner passage of the septum activator. An interior of the tube is in fluid communication with a reservoir within the blood sampling device. A vent is in fluid communication with the reservoir. The vent passes air but not blood therethrough.

Abstract: A packing box of shuffled playing cards has, in an assembled state, a shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with six faces, namely, a front face, a rear face, a left side face, a right side face, a top face, and a bottom face so as to encase the shuffled playing cards. The packing box includes zippers provided in two locations at a predetermined interval, each of which includes zipper-shaped cut lines arranged in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the rectangular parallelepiped shape, and has a central band in the central portion defined by the zippers provided in the two locations. A configuration is achieved in which by removing the two zippers along the cut lines formed by zipper lines or a straight slit, the left and right side faces of the packing box are removed such that the side faces of the shuffled playing cards would be exposed.

Abstract: The sheet of a polishing equipment of the present invention includes a buffer layer, an adsorption layer, and an adhesion layer. The adhesion layer is disposed between the buffer layer and the adsorption layer. The adhesion layer has a plurality of adhesion points to bind the buffer layer and the adsorption layer together. The adhesion points are discontinuous and have gaps in between. Consequently, when the sheet is pressed, air can be vented out through the gaps between the adhesion points, so that the adsorption force is increased.

Abstract: A package for a food product is provided and includes a fin seal, where the package is configured for controlled opening using an opening feature. The opening feature may include an integral flap separable from the remainder of the package to form an access opening to an interior of the package. The flap may be defined by one or more score or scribed lines that extend only partially through the package. The flap may have a portion extending into the fin seal area. Opening of the flap may expose adhesive of the fin seal area which can be utilized for attaching the flap to reclose the package.

Abstract: An electrophotographic recording media containing a base substrate coated on at least one side with an image-receiving layer that contains a polymeric polyolefin resin and more than about 20 wt % of inorganic pigments dispersed into said resin. Also disclosed is a method of 5 making such recording media and process for producing an image on said electrophotographic recording media.

Abstract: A comic book case includes a base and a cover configured to compress and secure a comic book in place under frictional pressure such that the book cannot easily shift or slip within the case. Prior art cases that included walls surrounding the top, bottom and side edges of a book typically allowed some free movement or slippage of the book between the walls. This movement or slippage could result in damage such as curling or crinkling of the edges of the book if the case were exposed to a physical shock, such as by being dropped. The base includes a raised base platform and the cover includes a depressed cover platform, which extends towards the base platform to create a space within which the book is securely held.

A sleeve is attached to each of the edges of the inner liner at the top, bottom, and sides thereof. The sleeves define substantially circular tubes. Abstract: An item can be authenticated based on a first, second, third, and fourth identifier, wherein the identifiers are incorporated into various parts of product packaging. In some embodiments, the first, second, and fourth identifiers can be a QR code, a bar code, a serial number, any RFID tag, or a combination thereof, and the third identifier can be an image type, for example, a type of animal, and image location, for example, a quadrant. The identifiers can be scanned or inputted manually by a user. When the four identifiers are authenticated, the product is deemed to be authentic, whereas when the four identifiers are not authenticated, the product is deemed to be counterfeit. In some implementations, a user can authenticate the items using a smart phone, smart phone app, tablet, tablet app, website, web-based application, and/or the like.

Abstract: A flexible package includes a seal region and a concealed graphics panel. The seal region includes an unsealed area disposed between a first seal portion and a second seal portion. The concealed graphics panel is located substantially within the unsealed area of the seal region where it is not visible until the flexible package is opened. The configuration of the seal region and related location of the concealed graphics panel provides for a concealed graphics panel space that is separate from the product storage space at least when the flexible package is closed. The flexible package may be formed from simple film structures.

One embodiment provides a flexible bag configured to conform to an interior of a common painting bucket and overlap an open top end of the bucket so as to provide stability for the bag and protection for the bucket. The bag includes a reusable closing member that allows the bag to be removed from the bucket and stored to facilitate repeated use before disposal. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

Printed material can be placed on the entirety of the first tray which provides a background to the compartments and allows viewing through the package sidewalls. The package is constructed and arranged to be sent as non-machinable flat through the United States Postal Service (USPS).
