Abstract: A modular product display system has at least two vertically stacked layers. Each layer has at least one roller track supported on one longitudinal end by a rail such that the one longitudinal end is at a different elevation than the other longitudinal end. At least two vertical stacking side barriers are disposed at laterally spaced apart positions between the roller track in each of the vertically stacked layers. The vertical stacking side barriers have protrusions on an upper edge and a lower edge engageable with corresponding openings in the roller track. Either (i) the protrusions on at least one of the upper edge and the lower edge are displaced from a plane of the vertical stacked side barrier, or (ii) the vertical stacked side barriers between the at least two vertically stacked layers are laterally displaced from vertical stacked side barriers between further vertically stacked layers.

Abstract: A point of sale display includes at least two stacked product transport boxes each having a planar bottom and planar top; a pair of locking tabs on one of the planar bottom or planar top of each box, each locking tab having a hinge and sides extending therefrom; a pair of receiving openings on one of the planar bottom or planar top of each box, wherein the pair of receiving opening on one of the stacked boxes align with the pair of locking tabs on the other such that the locking tabs on the stacked boxes are selectively pivoted through the openings of the adjacent box to interconnect the boxes and prevent relative sliding, and wherein the pair of locking tabs has one of straight sides or an inwardly tapered trapezoidal shape extending from the hinge to allow the boxes to be separated.

Abstract: At least one locking groove in a first storage container for receiving a sliding mechanism combined to a second storage container. The sliding mechanism selectively engages the locking groove of the first storage container to connect and hold the first storage container to the second storage container such that a portion of the sliding mechanism extends laterally away from the side surface of the container when the sliding mechanism is disengaged from the locking groove and wherein the portion of the sliding mechanism is coplanar with the side surface of the container when the sliding mechanism is engaged with the locking groove.

Abstract: An illumination system is disclosed. The illumination system may include a base that may support a lighting assembly. The base and the lighting assembly may be configured within a beverage container display unit to illuminate the beverages within the unit. The base and the lighting assembly may be located below the beverage containers within the unit to illuminate the containers from below.

Abstract: A weighted stand for use in storing several barbells in an upright and vertical orientation. The device provides a first plate and a second plate placed in opposition to one another, creating an open space therebetween. Both the first plate and the second plate have a plurality of apertures in which tubular members extend therethrough and are connected thereto. The tubular members provide a hollow interior and a first open end and a second open end. The user can insert the bar portion of a barbell within the first open end of the tubular members for storage in a vertical orientation therein. A weight member is positioned within the open area between the first plate and the second plate for anchoring and stabilizing the device. Further, a mat portion is connected to the second side of the second plate in order to prevent said device from sliding on the floor.

Abstract: A U-shaped adjustable shelving system comprised of a plurality of interconnecting shelf sections including a back shelf section, a right side shelf section and a left side shelf section. The right and left side shelf sections are coupled to the back shelf section with a sliding dovetail arrangement so as to allow adjustment of the right and left side shelf sections relative to the back shelf section in order to change the width of the adjustable shelving system. The back shelf section is adjustable in length to substantially match the width of the space in which the shelving system is to be installed. The adjustable shelving system includes support risers for self-supporting the shelving system above a surface. The adjustable shelf can be easily installed into a variety of cabinets, and allows access to small containers, such as those for herbs and spices.

Abstract: Several embodiments of shelving systems are disclosed in which goods can be shipped to a store and may be ready to display. Customers may select goods from the shelving systems directly. When the goods are depleted, the shelving system may be disassembled into a more compact state for efficient storage and shipping back to the warehouse or supplier.

Abstract: A product management display system for merchandising product on a shelf includes using a trackless pusher mechanism that travels along a surface on which product is placed and one or more dividers for separating product into rows. The one or more dividers may be engaged to a front rail in two different conditions, locked and unlocked. In a locked condition, the relationship between the divider and the front rail resists alteration in any direction with respect to each other. In the unlocked condition, the dividers may be freely slid laterally along the front rail, while remaining perpendicular to the front rail. The one or more dividers may lock to the front rail through the use of corresponding teeth, resilient surfaces, a locking tab, a locking bar and/or a cam.

Abstract: One embodiment of the invention relates to a two-tiered shelf display having a plurality of trays one stacked on top of the other. The trays can have both channels where each channel from a top tray feeds into the corresponding channel on a bottom tray. At least one embodiment includes the two tray system with the first try serving as a base tray and a second tray serving as a top tray which can be coupled to or configured to rest upon the base tray. These trays can be configured to rest upon a rack. The rack can be part of the shelf system as well.

Abstract: A modular packaging system for shipping and displaying palletized products is provided. The packaging system comprises a plurality of vertically stacked trays for holding the products, corner posts extending between vertically adjacent trays for spacing and supporting the trays, and one or more separate elongated braces located under and supporting one or more of the trays. The ends of the braces extend into openings in the corner posts. The system is strong enough not only to support the weight of the products on the trays and withstand the vibration and impact forces that can occur during shipping, but to withstand the weight of one or more units stacked on top.

Abstract: A method and apparatus discloses a tray configured to house a hard-disk drive (“HDD”) using at least one semi-flexible anchoring strip. An HDD assembly device, in one aspect, includes a tray, a U-shaped semi-flexible anchoring frame, and an HDD. The tray has a base, a front panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel, wherein the first side panel and the second side panel includes tracks along longitudinal edges of the first and the second side panels. The U-shaped semi-flexible anchoring frame includes a front piece, a first strip, and a second strip, wherein the first strip is configured to fit in the track of the first side panel allowing the first strip to slide along the track of the first side panel. The HDD has at least two mounting holes on each side and able to seat in the U-shaped semi-flexible anchoring frame.

Abstract: A test tube rack (1) that is suited for storing and transporting test tubes. The test tube rack (1) according to the invention includes a bottom plate (3), a cover plate (2), and a centering plate (4), which are arranged parallel to one another and spaced apart from one another. The plates have a substantially rectangular shape. At each corner a screw connector (8) is arranged, through which the plates are joined to each other. The screw connectors (8) are designed such that, when stacking a plurality of test tube racks (1), the screw connectors (8) of one test tube rack (1) partially engage with the screw connectors (8) of another test tube rack (1), and thereby ensure a secure connection, at least with respect to lateral shifting. Additionally, the screw connectors (8) can be provided with a locking mechanism, which allows a rigid connection between test tube racks (1).

Abstract: A multiple use, light weight, cost-effective, indoor and all-weather outdoor construction toy for stimulating children's imaginations and encouraging physical activity comprises a basic modular unit with open ended cup-like coupling-means on its perimeter for male to female coupling and decoupling to other couple-able units, is described. The coupling-means may be molded as an integral part forming one seamless basic unit. The open bottom end of the coupling means provides for coupling, the open top end prevents the buildup of snow inside the coupling unit. Coupling can be achieved via coupling-means on basic units to each other or through the use of accessory independent coupler-units. The basic unit of the modular toy may be in the form of a saucer, disc, an oval, or in a rectilinear-shape for use as a sled, skiing device, a flotation device, or as fort building modules. Additional accessory parts include skis and inner-tubes, for example.

Abstract: A modular packaging system for shipping and displaying palletized products is provided. Abstract: The invention relates to a stackable carrier for growing material, such as pot plants, cuttings and plants placed in trays, comprising a substantially rectangular flat plate (35); and supports (36) extending transversely of the plate from the short sides of the plate for the purpose of supporting the carrier in a stack of carriers. This measure results in simplified handling of the carriers with the plants placed thereon. The carriers with the plants can be easily stacked on top of one another from above, wherein this is avoided in horizontal direction between the vertical posts of the Danish trolleys. Such operations therefore entail less effort. The invention furthermore provides the option of the grower using the carriers for his internal transport and even as carrier for the plants on the seedbeds. The supports preferably extend upward from the plate and the carrier comprises a frame extending at least at the periphery and a plate placed separately inside the frame.

Abstract: A unitary, single-piece baking pan support clip for stacking one or more baking pans vertically to save space without contacting or damaging the contents of each stacked pan. Each clip is comprised of a thin, planar rigid bar having a vertical shaft, horizontal and vertical upper arms that contact and support the bottom surface and exterior sidewall of a baking pan and a base having a recess that secures the clips to the interior sidewall and lip bead of the lower pan. The base recess that is shaped as a cylindrical channel to securely snap or fit over the lip bead of the baking pan to which the clip is attached.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus includes a receiving tray receiving a data storage device, a rack receiving the receiving tray, a rotatable shaft, two pivoting members fixed to the rotatable shaft, two resilient members, and a cover detachably mounted to the rack. The clamping protrusion protrudes out from the receiving tray. The rotatable shaft includes a latching portion. The resilient members are mounted to the corresponding pivoting members, and each resilient member resists against the rack and the corresponding pivoting member. When the cover is mounted to the rack, the pivoting members are rotated together with the rotatable shaft. Therefore, the latching portion rotates to engage with the clamping protrusion, and the resilient members are deformed. When the cover is removed from the rack, the resilient members are released to rotate the pivoting members together with the rotatable shaft. The latching portion rotates to disengage from the clamping protrusion.

Abstract: A device provides for displaying and dispensing retail articles. The device includes a plurality of product support modules that are detachably coupled to one another. Each support module includes a bottom mating portion and a top mating portion, each of which may be operatively coupled to a top mating portion and a bottom mating portion of another support module, respectively. Each support module also include sidewalls that may be operatively coupled to sidewalls of another support module. All of the product support modules of the present invention have a substantially similar profile.

Abstract: An array of stillages mounted on top of each other or one stillage is able to be disposed at an angle to another. The advantage of this arrangement is that space between adjacent stillages in an array can be adjusted to hold a range of different sized articles during transport. A further advantage is that once the articles have reached their destination, the array of stillages can be further adjusted to angle one platform relative to another. In this way articles, which have been transported can then be displayed professionally by reconfiguring the array of stillages after reaching a destination.

Abstract: A post in post structure comprising a short inner post segment and a pair of hollow outer posts slipped over either end of the inner post segment and affixed to the inner post segment. The post in post structure is particularly suitable for use with a product packaging and display system of the kind having vertically spaced trays supported by outer posts located over openings in each tray and inner posts inserted inside the outer support posts and through the tray openings to lock the system together.

Abstract: A modular display system comprises a plurality of identical modules. Each module includes a vertical mounting surface, a pair of sidewalls, top surface and a bottom surface lying in planes which extend at right angles to the mounting surface. A pair of top rails lie above the top plane and form outward facing channels. A pair of bottom rails extend inward from respective sidewalls just above the bottom plane, each bottom rail engaging in a respective channel when two modules are assembled one above the other. The inner surfaces of at least one of the top rails and the bottom rails converge toward the top or bottom plane at an acute angle so that the inner surfaces of the top rails are received against the inner surfaces of the bottom rails in a press fit. The modules are latched in this position by a detent and shoulder arrangement.

Abstract: Dishwasher rack and extender for an automatic dishwasher has 12, 20, 30 or 42 compartments defined by a plurality of rows of adjacent hexagonal compartments with a half hexagonal compartment at the end of each row and two rows of pentagonal compartments with a half pentagonal compartment at one end. The rows of pentagonal compartments border opposite sides of the rows of hexagonal compartments and the end compartments alternate ends from row to row.

Abstract: A glass and cup holding assembly for an automatic dishwasher includes a rack and a rack extender. The rack has side walls with an upper edge having spaced apart upwardly opening sockets. The rack extender has side walls with a lower edge defining connector pins each having a shaft, at least a portion of which tapers inwardly from the lower edge, and an enlarged head defining a catch surface. The pins engage the sockets such that the shaft is disposed within the socket and the head catch surface engages an underside of the upper edge of the side wall.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for handling material for the insulating glass industry are disclosed. One method of handling material for the insulating glass industry in accordance with the present invention includes the step of arranging a plurality of bars into a plurality of stacks with adjacent stacks defining spaces dimensioned to receive a bar engaging member. The stacks of bars may then be transported to a desired destination. A bar engaging member may be inserted into a space defined by the stacks, and one or more bars may be grasped using the bar engaging member. A container for handling material for the insulating glass industry is also disclosed. The container may advantageously include a plurality of prearranged bar locating members configured to hold a predetermined type of bar stock.
