Abstract: A system for storing and display different types of merchandise items. The system includes a plurality of juxtaposed modules having a side wall and a plurality of shelves for holding the merchandise items. The items are stored on the shelves in boxes which slide through an opening on the front of shelves. The modules pivot about an axis to permit the boxes to easily be removed. Removable panels slidably attach to the front wall to support and display the merchandise item stored on an adjacent shelf. At least one of the modules allow items to be inserted into the module through an opening on the module's front as well as through an opening on a module's front side.

Abstract: A power column is a hollow post having six vertical walls and is mounted between horizontal arm pivoted to the floor and ceiling, respectively. The pivotal axis for the arms passes through the head end of a hospital bed, enabling the power column to swing from one side of the bed to the other. The electrical outlets are on two walls separated by a front wall so that one or the other of the walls is easily accessible whether the power column is on either side of the bed. Lateral horizontal rails are pivotably mounted on either side of the column. The height of the rails is adjustable. The rails contain one or more gas outlets which are laterally adjustable on the rail and can carry other accessories that are laterally adjustable.

Abstract: An adjustable storage rack for a document processor in which a plurality of document receiving slots are each associated and aligned with one of the sorter pockets when the rack is secured to the document processor frame. Advantageously, the securing occurs through a pivoting hinge, allowing the rack to be supported in one of a plurality of defined positions.

Abstract: A prop comprising a wall plate fastened in a wall and a supporting frame revolvably fastened in said wall plate for holding garment hangers, wherein said supporting frame can be rotated on said wall plate and positioned at any of a variety of angular positions by fastened a key thereof in any of a variety of notches which are made on a horizontal wall extending from said wall plate around a circle. Spaced rings are fastened in the supporting frame for hanging garment hangers separately.

Abstract: An upper rectilinear framework includes a matrix of drainage rails directed orthogonally between side walls of the framework, with the framework mounting a lowered apertured drainage tray thereto. The framework is pivotally mounted to an underlying support base, wherein the underlying support base includes a floor angulated downwardly relative to a rear wall and side wall structure of the support base. A modification of the invention includes a drying manifold to direct air interiorly of the framework and further includes an accessory fluid receiving trough and reservoir within the framework, with the reservoir containing a germicidal and/or fungicidal fluid contained therewithin.

Abstract: A novel packaging assembly for displaying artistic gift bags and banners, as well as a novel display assembly wherein these banners and bags may be artistically displayed in their packaging. The bags or banners (16) are stacked in register, and the stack (16) is enclosed in a cardboard package which is provided with a gap in the header. The display assembly includes a plurality of racks (50) which may be mounted for swinging movement on a mounting plate assembly (52), each rack including two arms (60, 62) one of which may be slipped through the gap in the header to support the packaging. The mounting plate assembly may be supported on a pegboard (46) or slotwall (54). Alternatively it may be mounted on a novel floor stand (56) or other wire store displays comnmercially available to receive slotwall fixtures.

Abstract: A pants rack device (10) for supporting and suspending pairs of pants (100) which includes a pair of vertical support units (12) rotatably supported in a housing unit (11) wherein each of the vertical support units (12) is provided with a plurality of spaced dowel members (25) from which one or more pair of pants (100) may be suspended.

Abstract: A fitting is provided for securing a wire storage product to a surface at any of a plurality of relative angles. The fitting includes a base portion for connection to the surface. A bracket portion includes structure for engaging the wire storage product. Hinge structure connects the base portion to the bracket portion, whereby the bracket portion can be pivoted about the hinge structure to engage the wire storage product at any of a plurality of relative angles.

Abstract: A surgical instrument rack for storing and supporting pivoted surgical instruments is defined by an open frame-type structure. The instruments are retained to the rack by a lock bar which also functions to maintain a pivotal frame in a position forcing the instruments to an open condition for cleaning and sterilization. Separator clips separate the instruments into groupings. A removable retainer clip snaps over the instruments and is adapted to display indicia referencing instruments in each grouping to facilitate return of the instruments to the rack after usage.

Abstract: A closet organizer for supporting a plurality of articles of clothing such as pants and skirts from a clothes rod in a closet wherein the organizer includes a housing which is selectively suspended from the clothes rod and is stabilized with respect thereto and from which a telescoping clothing rack assembly is slideably carried. The clothing rack assembly includes at least one telescoping slide member which is received within the housing and from which a plurality of vertically spaced pairs of horizontally swingable clothing support arms are suspended. The clothing support arms may be selectively moved forwardly of the clothes rod and thereafter adjustably pivoted outwardly relative to one another so as to facilitate placement and retrieval of articles of clothing with respect thereto.

Abstract: In a pen holder device, a pen holder body (3) contained in a support body (2) is pivotable between an operational position, which is slightly inclined from the perpendicular, and a generally horizontal readiness position, wherein an acute angle exists between the operational position and the readiness position. Bearing shoulders (15) provided on opposite sides of the pen holder body (3) rest with little friction upon support surfaces (12) having evenly curved surface areas. The center of gravity (21) of the pen holder body (3) alone is below the bearing shoulders (15) and the common center of gravity (20) of the pen holder body (3) and a writing instrument (4) inserted in it is above the bearing shoulders (15).

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for the storage and display of elongate items and particularly marking pens and felt tip markers. The apparatus includes a removable cassette holding a plurality of marking pens. The cassette may be used by an artist or draftsman at a work bench, desk or drafting table in conjunction with a user stand. In the stand the cassette may be moved between two fixed positions, a first position in which the cassettes are tilted forward to permit convenient user access to the pens and a second position in which the cassette is inclined in a rearward position, primarily for storage.The cassettes may also be employed as part of a a rack panel display system. In this system one or more cassettes may be suspended from a rack in which individual cassettes are swingably mounted. Selection of marking pens stored within the cassettes is facilitated by swinging the cassette from side to side thus permitting a person to leaf through as in the pages of a book.

Abstract: A stand for writing utensils, particularly tubular writing pens, which comprise a lower part that can be placed on a base, and an upper part, that is pivotally mounted on the lower part and has at least one hole for receiving a writing pen. The upper part engages the lower part by means of laterally extending bearing pins, which extend from at least two supports which extend upwardly from the lower part. The invention is significantly characterized in that the bearing pins, 6 and 7, are provided on the upper end region of the supports, 4 and 5, and that within the top part, 10, are guide slots, 16, which are open to the bottom of the upper part and extend upwardly for the bearing pins, 6 and 7. Hence, the top part, 1, may rest in a tilted position due to a frictional cooperation between the guide pins and the guide slots, and a bearing by a longitudinal edge upon the bottom part, 1.

Abstract: A hanger for displaying trousers on a display rack and including an elongated arm on the outer end of which a sleeve is mounted, the trousers being suspended by the waist from the arm and the sleeve being longitudinally adjusted relative to the arm to tension the waist portion of the trousers for locating the trousers in an extended and suspended display position.

Abstract: A clothes stand for suspending clothes articles, comprising a clothes hanger, a holder for the clothes hanger, which hanger consists of an arc-bent rod in the form of a "clothes hanger", which at one end is provided with a downwardly directly rod intended to be threaded through the sleeve of an article, and the holder being so formed as to hold the hanger in upright position.

Abstract: A housing has an open front side, and one or more arms are provided, each having two ends and a length sufficient to permit a plurality of adjacent ties to be hung from the respective arm. Pivot pins mount these arms at one end within the housing so that the arms can be pivoted outwardly of the housing to an access position and can be pivoted into the housing to a storage position in which the opposite ends of the respective arms are supported on a portion of the housing.

Abstract: A device for positively locating a pivotal display hanger in a selected position of use on a support, said device having a base member that is fixed to the support and a locating member that is mounted on the end of the hanger and rotatable therewith, the locating member cooperating with the base member to provide for a step-by-step movement of the hanger when it is pivoted so that the hanger is locatable in a selected position of use.
