Abstract: A resistance mechanism for a sheet product dispenser for dispensing a length of sheet product from a roll of sheet product rotatably supported by the sheet product dispenser is provided. The resistance mechanism includes an arm configured to frictionally engage a surface of the roll of sheet product, and a spring attached to the arm and configured to bias the arm into engagement with the surface of the roll of sheet product, such that the resistance mechanism provides a pull force resistance opposing a pull force applied to a tail portion of the roll of sheet product.

Abstract: Steel coil carrying intermodal shipping containers have strong bases with I beams supporting decks and paired opposite coil supports. Each support has trusses, formed of inward supporting beams, outward sloping outer legs, links between them and short inner legs extending through the deck and anchored to longitudinal I beams. Three dimensional covers have corner posts, sides, ends, tops and open bottoms with edges that seal to edges of the deck. The covers lift from the bases for loading and unloading steel coils.

Abstract: A work bench which is easily disassembled for storage or moving to a new location and may be used as a wall mounted version, a freestanding version and a tailgate version. A workbench frame is connected to a support surface by a pair of mounting standards spaced apart from one another and mounted to the support surface. The mount standards allow for the vertical adjustment of the workbench frame to the desired height. The workbench frame comprises a frame connector and a table top support flange. The work bench frames are the supports for the bench work surface. The table top support is a flange with holes to allow for connection to the work surface. Atop of the table angle top is a work surface. There is also provided a bench support extension connected to the work bench used as a support for material larger than the work surface.

Abstract: A clamp-on paper towel holder has a back plate, a first and second holder arm, one or more clamps and a pop-up retainer. The first and second holder arms work together to grasp both ends of a paper towel roll and suspend the roll therebetween. The clamps mount on the back plate at mounting attachment points. Near each attachment point is a clamp extension against which the user can squeeze the clamp handle when desiring to open the clamp and reposition the holder between mounting locations. The clamps can grasp onto poles, rails, table edges, chairs, etc. and firmly suspend the holder therefrom. A user can simply squeeze the clamp's handles to open the clamps, reposition them, and then release the clamp handles to lock the holder in place. The pop-up retainer keeps the towel roll from unraveling in the wind.

Abstract: An adjustable organizational system for single and multi-tiered cabinets, shelves, and drawers. The system segregates items inside a cabinet on different tiers of shelves, and then groups the segregated items on each shelf into size-dependent groups through length adjustable straps that have adjustable heights and lengths. Multiple groups of items can be segregated on the same shelf through positional and height adjustment of the straps. Straps are defined by a pair of free ends that are secured to the walls of cabinet to enable grouping of items based on the size, shape, and function of the item. Strap adjustment members detachably fasten free ends of straps into cabinet walls. Strap adjustment members comprise a side mounting block, a stud, and a retaining nut. Nut extends and retracts relative to stud and cabinet walls to adjust length and position of straps relative to adjacent straps and cabinet walls.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a floor covering storage and dispensing rack including a frame equipped with extendable members having castors. Floor lock anchors are also provided on the frame. Upper frame members of the rack support rollers in spaced relation and a crank or motor is provided to rotate the rollers to wind floor covering onto the rollers for storage. Perforated end caps are provided on the rollers to limit access to moving parts. An elongated cleaning head consisting of a pair of brushes is provided on a frame member. Floor covering passes over at least one brush when the floor covering is retrieved or dispensed to remove dirt prior to storage or reuse.

Abstract: A mobile sign rack which can be easily and quickly mounted or disconnected from the tailgate of a truck for the purpose of storing and/or transporting signs, sign stands, traffic cones and stop and slow paddles to secure worksites on the roadway.

Abstract: A combination of a shelf (5) and a holding frame (4). The holding frame has a strip-shaped plate (42) having a rectangular cross-section. The shelf includes a first combinative plate (52). The first combinative plate has a through slot (523), and a cross section of the through slot is shaped. A stop is disposed in an upper part or a lower part of an open of the through slot, and the through slot fixed the holding frame in the strip-shaped plate. With the combination, the shelf and the holding frame can be combined or disassembled conveniently and quickly.

Abstract: A workstation (10 or 10a) facilitates hooking of rugs and provides storage of rug hooking supplies, tools, and equipment. The workstation (10 or 10a) is made up of a framework (12) with a rolling support (50) to allow mobility and a stabilizer (36) to engage a support surface. A laterally extending grab bar (56) combines with a top plate (34) to form a gap (58) adjacent to the grab bar (56) to define a handle, the handle enabling the framework (12) to be tilted rotationally about the rolling support (50) and pulled in a movement direction. The framework (12) has a storage area (18) for the rug foundation and a plurality of bins (80) attached to the framework (12) to store fabric swatches. A hook (84) is attached to some of the bins (80), and a plurality of hooks (92) are attached to the framework (12), the hooks (84) and (92) providing storage of cut fabric strips.

Abstract: A rack for storing, moving and displaying rolled flooring materials, such as carpet, carpet remnants and pad, having a frame with a plurality of frame members configured to hold flooring materials in either a vertical or horizontal configuration. The frame has an upper section with a stinger receiving mechanism configured to receive a stinger pole attached to a forklift. The stinger receiving mechanism can comprise a shaped portion of the frame or a shaped member or a tubular member attached to the frame for lifting the frame and its contents. The bottom section of the frame can comprise a prong receiving mechanism configured for receiving the prongs of a forklift. The rack can also include one or more movement guides for moving the rack with the stinger and/or one or more roll support members attached to the frame for displaying rolls of material.

Within the frame there are disposed a plurality of pairs of left and right face-to-face vertically extending abutting mirror image formed or shaped shells. Each mirror image shell is formed to define a plurality of alternating inwardly facing one-half storage cells separated by oppositely facing one-half storage cells of substantially identical shape and cross-section. Each abutting pair of face-to-face shells forms a composite unit and defines a vertical row of spaced apart horizontal storage cells. Each adjacent abutting composite unit defines a vertical row of similar horizontal storage cells in staggered relation to the first row.

Abstract: A portable fabric bolt hanger in the form of a substantially planar frame includes an upper portion, a body portion, and a base. The upper and body portions fit inside the hollow core tube of a fabric bolt, so that the fabric bolt is supported by the base. A handhold and a hanging hook are formed in the upper portion so that the fabric bolt hanger supporting a fabric bolt may be easily handled and may be hung from conventional display racks. Hinges are provided in the hanger allowing the hanger to be folded and its length thereby adjusted.

Abstract: A rack for storing rolls of material and for facilitating the removal of a portion of material from the roll is described. The rack comprises a substantially rectangular frame comprising a top transverse member, a pair of substantially parallel vertical members, and a bottom transverse member; a number of paired sets of spindles mounting along the vertical members of the frame for mounting a number of rolls of material horizontally within the frame; a platform extending horizontally between the vertical members, the platform movably mounted to a front surface of the vertical members; and platform securing means to secure the platform at a vertical position adjacent to any one of the roll mounting means. The roll of material is mounted between the spindles. Typically, one of the spindles is spring loaded to facilitate the mounting of the roll material to the spindles.

Abstract: A display rack for floor covering for storing and displaying rolls of floor covering is described. The display rack for floor covering includes a plurality of wheeled tracks extending along the length of the rack. These wheeled tracks are arranged in pairs to support rolling motion of multiple cradles inserted into the display rack for floor covering. The cradles have a substantially concave shape for supporting a roll of floor covering thereon. Once the rolls of floor covering are placed on the cradles, the cradles are then rolled along the wheeled tracks to a storage position. In the storage position, the cradle and the roll of floor covering are located completely within the display rack for floor covering. When the roll of floor covering is to be displayed, the user pulls on the cradle, which then rolls forward along the wheeled track. The cradle is equipped with a stopper to prevent the cradle from being pulled too far forward.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for displaying and dispensing rolls of material are provided. The apparatus preferably has a carrier including a plurality of carrier units. Each carrier unit preferably includes a substantially rectangular frame pivotally mounted about a vertical axis extending substantially along a corresponding one of the vertical sides of the frame. The respective vertical axes of the carrier units are mounted in spaced relation to adjacent vertical axes along the carrier. The plurality of carrier units preferably are pivotably movable from a normal inward closed position wherein only a portion of each but one of the endmost carrier units is exposed to an outward open position wherein each carrier unit is fully exposed. A plurality of opposing vertical rows of cooperating roll supports positioned along opposing vertical sides of the frame of each carrier unit and adapted to support a plurality of correspondingly spaced horizontally disposed rolls of material.

Abstract: The apparatus has horizontally oriented top, bottom, and middle plates. The top and middle plates have openings therein, which openings receive rolled up plans. Each opening in the top plate is aligned with an opening in the middle plate. The plans, when stored in the apparatus, are vertically oriented so that their bottom ends bear on the solid bottom plate and the top ends extend above the top plate. The bottom plate provides stability to prevent the apparatus from turning over.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a floor covering storage and dispensing rack including a frame equipped with castors. Upper frame members of the rack support rollers in parallel spaced relation, and a crank or motor is provided to rotate the rollers to wind the floor covering onto the rollers for storage. An elongated cleaning head or pair of brushes is provided on a frame member so that the floor covering passes over at least one cleaning head or brush when the floor covering is retrieved or dispensed to remove dirt prior to storage or reuse.

Abstract: The invention is a rack having a pair of opposed upright columns between which rolls of wallpaper may be held upon dowel rods for unrolling. Below the dowel rods a unit is mounted between the columns. The unit includes a cutter guide member which is raisable relative to an underlying support, whereby paper may be drawn from a roll beneath the cutter guide member and over the support. The cutter guide member serves as a guide along which a knife may be drawn to cut from the roll a section of paper resting upon the support with a straightedge. And the principal components of the rack are held together by four bolts, whereby the rack may be readily knocked-down to its components upon removal of the bolts. The knocked-down components are light in weight, and may be piled together into a compact flat pack for manual portage and subsequent reassembly.

Abstract: A packaging case for presenting elongated objects (such as pencils (103) and flat objects, such as computer disks (350), for easy removal and selection and for transporting and storing such objects in a compact and protected condition. The case comprises a base (50) having a plurality of upright partitions (58) hingedly attached thereto at spaced locations, and a plurality of shelves (68) attached to spaced, corresponding locations on said partitions. The shelves have elongated slots (66) for receiving the objects and holding them parallel to the partitions. When the partitions are folded upright, the objects are held upright so that they will be spaced and can all be easily seen, selected, and replaced. When the partitions are folded down, the objects and shelves will be close and parallel to the base so as to provide a very compact package for easy transportation and/or storage.

Abstract: A rack for supporting a plurality of rolls of sheet material particularly floor covering is defined by a frame structure carrying two chains one at each end with the chains arranged to rotate around upper and lower chain wheels. The chains rotate in synchronism with support hooks carried on the chains and aligned transversely of the chains. A bar can be hooked onto the support hooks to receive a roll of the floor covering. The bar can be lifted into place by a lift mechanism in the form of an elongate bar with an upper and lower hook so the upper hook can engage over a previous bar and a lower hook can lift the intended bar to a position adjacent its receiving hook. An overcenter linkage then is used to reduce the length of the bar to lift the new bar into engagement with its respective hook.

Abstract: A carrier devices is described for an overhead suspension transport system. The device has an angular carrier member with a first arm pivotally mounting a hanger bracket which is adapted to be supported on a rail system by means of rollers. A second arm extends in a substantially upright orientation, at least in its used position, and releasably supports, at vertically spaced positions, a plurality of rods for supporting goods to be conveyed. Each of the rods extends through a bore in the second arm to be lockably retained in the bore by one of its end portions, and it is constructed so that, when it is extracted from the bore, the end portion is extracted first. Each of the bores extends substantially parallel to the first arm.

Abstract: A universal load support device for supporting flat and cylindrically shaped articles of fabric or textile material having coined or beveled edges that do not impinge against the fabric or textile material forming the article so as to cause creases or other surface deforming conditions. The outer peripheral edges of that portion of the support device contacting the article are coined or beveled at an angle varying from about 5 degrees to about 20 degrees and the extreme outer edge is slightly rounded.

Abstract: A flat bobbin dispenser conformed in the shape of a spool having two circular edge disks mounted on a central cylinder, each edge disk including on the interior surface thereof radially aligned tapered grooves. These grooves extend towards the center cylinder and terminate thereat in enlarged circular recesses. The disks are aligned on the cylinder in matched radial position, the opposing grooves thus forming a receiving slot for containing rectangular bobbins on which various threads are wound. Each bobbin furthermore includes edge cutouts to accommodate the thickness of the wound thread and one edge of each bobbin is enlarged to form a circular bead conformed for receipt in the opposed circular recesses. In this configuration the spool is supported on a pivotal mount to permit manual selection of the various threads by way of the angular rotation of the spool.

Abstract: A retaining device for refrigerator shelves, particularly for use in boats, trailers, and other moving vehicles. The device is made of spring wire for the purpose of exerting outward pressure at the lower ends. The lower ends have specially designed double U-shaped clips formed therein, the U-shape being tapered to accommodate variable shelf wire sizes. The clip is also offset from the main wire body so that when force is applied to the main body wire the grip of the clip on the shelf is increased.

Abstract: A display unit having a plurality of adjustably mounted shelves, and a plurality of holder units adjustably mounted on each shelf, each holder unit comprising a base and one or two elongated holders mounted on and projecting upwardly from each base, each holder being of such dimensions as to fit within a wound roll or fabric and being long enough to support the roll on end in a substantially vertical position.

Abstract: A display and storage stand for floor coverings is disclosed as including an upright standard upon which a display and storage assembly is rotatably mounted. The assembly includes a first or bottom support disc for receiving the bottom edge of the rolled floor coverings, to be stored and displayed, a spacing disc supported above the first support disc and having first and second notches therein disposed about the periphery thereof. The set of first notches are of a configuration to receive a single rolled covering, whereas the second notches are of sufficient size and of such configuration to receive at least two rolls of the floor covering. The standard includes leg portions for supporting an upright, vertically disposed portion about which the display and storage assembly is rotatably mounted. Suitable bearings are disposed upon the upper surface of the leg portions whereby the first support disc may readily slide thereover to permit the rotation of the display and storage assembly.
